I received a free epub copy from NetGalley.

This book was a roller coaster for me. I felt like the characters were a little flat in the beginning but by the end they had all grown on me. The overarching relationship arc that goes from book to book is moving really slowly but it fits with the characters backstories.

Overall I thought the story was ok but it didn't draw me in enough to want to keep reading.

I definitely feel like a missed something with this book since I did not read the prior two books in the series. The concept is interesting, small town cozy mystery set in Wilfred, Oregon. This was a "who-dunit" type of mystery and the main characters of Roz and Daphne were very well written by Angela M Sanders.

I look forward to reading the first two books to get more into this story.

Witch and Famous is the latest book in the “Witch Way Librarian Mystery” series. I've enjoyed this series from the start and was very excited to read this one.

The series follows Josie, who uses the books in her enchanted library to solve mysteries and help her patrons.
In this installment a famous Hollywood actress comes to town to do a podcast and feature one of Roz's book in her book club. Things do not go well between the two women and when the actress' personal chef ends up dead, Roz becomes the number one suspect. Thankfully Josie is on her side and with the help of her powers, the books, her sharp mind and her cat she is able to find the truth and the real culprit.

I loved the book and look forward to more from the series. Highly recommended.

A big thank you to NetGalley and Kensington Books for the ARC. I am voluntarily reviewing this book. This is part of a series, it reads okay as a stand alone. This is quite entertaining, convoluted but fun and has crazy characters. I loved Josie-and the library was amazing!! Sam seemed out of it but interesting as well. A fun book. 3.5 stars

Cute and easy to read. Characters have very distinct personalities. And the plot offers quite a few surprises for the reader. Overall I wouldn’t mind reading more of these!

📖📖📖📖📖

Josie is settling in to both her role as Wilfred’s librarian and as a new witch. When a famous actress comes to interview Roz for her best selling book, she brings a little more than just chaos. Daphne Morris is being threatened, has a stalker and now people around her are being hurt. Josie’s crush Sheriff Sam is dedicated to protecting Daphne. And Daphne clearly enjoys the attention. But when the killer hits close to home, can Josie keep Daphne alive whether she’d like to or not?

This is the third book in the witch way librarian series. Josie is a wonderful heroine. She’s a truth teller and as such she always has some interesting internal debates. The town (and residents) of Wilfred never fail to make me laugh. Thor and Bonnie’s schemes to make money were a hoot. I was so invested in Sams and Josie’s relationship that at the end of the book I screamed NO because I didn’t want the book to end! Can not wait for the next book in this series!!

I received a free copy of this book in exchange for an honest review. All opinions and thoughts are my own.

Princess Fuzzypants here: Roz’s literary career is about to have a huge booster. Movie star Daphne loves her book and comes to Wilfred to interview her for her book club show. The entire town is abuzz until she starts to bedazzle every man who crosses her path including Lyndon and Sam. Even though Josie is the witch with great power, Daphne can also bewitch. Both Josie and Roz are incensed but not enough to commit murder. But one and then two of Daphne’s entourage are murdered. Is the real target Daphne? The iron clad contracts she has signed with all her staff give them motives for wanting to be set free. Or is it someone else.

Josie, with the help of Rodney and her books, is able to solve the mystery but in doing so she unleashes a chaotic scene at her beloved library which happens to have a little magic involved. Josie wants to keep her powers a secret and goes to great lengths to avoid detection. She is also very moral with her power and rejects an abuse of it. But when her books get involved in the capture of the killer, one has to wonder if her secret is going to leak out.

I enjoyed the story with all its twists and turns. I loved the magical bits as Josie explores this new talent. The characters are great and Josie and Rodney make an awesome team. Five purrs and two paws up.

I fell in love with this series when I read the first instalment and was never disappointed. I love Josie and Rodney, love the magic of books, and the people who live in the quaint town.
This is a good mystery even if it's a bit slow at the beginning. I liked how the author described the relationship and loved to read about Josie evolution.
The mystery is solid and the solution surprised me.
I can't wait to read the next story and hope there won't be another femme fatale :)
Recommended.
Many thanks to the publisher and Netgalley for this ARC, all opinions are mine

This is fast becoming one of my favorite series. I love Josie and enjoy reading as she learns and grows in her bibliomancy witch craft. It's very interesting how the books in her library help Josie solve mysteries. There's plenty of twists and turns to keep me guessing until the end. And the townspeople are fun and quirky as well. I'm looking forward to reading the next book in this series.

Many thanks to Kensington Publishing and NetGalley for an advance copy of this book. My thoughts and opinions are my own and without bias or favor or expectation.

How can you resist enchanted books, a novelist whose plots are becoming real murders, a mischievous cat, and a main character that makes readers and writers happy? The answer is, you can’t! The “Witch Way Librarian Mystery” series has a new addition, Witch and Famous, and Josie is out to find a killer once again.

Enchanted books help Josie discover many things about the patrons of the library and anyone else she needs to help. Still, this time the books may not have all the answers when a murder occurs, and novelist Roz becomes the number one suspect. The personal chef of a famous actress, Daphne Morris, is killed, and fingers are pointed directly at Roz, not just because the murder mimics one of the plots in her novels but due to her jealousy. Meeting the actress had everyone on pins and needles with excitement, but when Roz’s boyfriend pays a little too much attention to the A-lister, Roz becomes angry and jealous and storms off while threatening to get revenge. Josie almost joins her when the actress turns her attention to Sam. But why kill the chef if Daphne is the problem?

Suspects and motives aren’t easy to find. It makes no sense to Josie or her enchanted books and thinking that Roz could kill someone makes even less sense. Once Josie starts poking around, she finds that far too many people have a motive to kill the actress, but not many have anything against the chef. After another murder, Roz is still a suspect, the novelist is still angry and jealous, and Josie is frustrated with the lack of progress. It takes a lot more digging to find out what happened to the chef and keep Daphne from being the next victim. Finally, in what can only be described as a convoluted motive and an action-packed finale, Josie uncovers the culprit's identity and keeps Roz out of prison.

I adore the library but would like to see the enchanted books more often. I loved it when Josie had them dancing. The characters are intelligent and enormously likable. I would like to see Sam and Josie become more involved, and it looks like that may happen. I would love to meet the novelist Roz, and who wouldn’t want to read one of her novels? I felt that Witch and Famous was a wonderful addition to the series, and I look forward to the next installment in this series.

Loved this book. I love the witchy-ness of the main characters. I love the books and their powers. I want to work here! I so enjoy the characters and their quirks! I love that Josie and Sam have an easy comraderie. I love that prickly Roz finally has her long-time love. This is just a great series. I hope it continues!

I loved this book! This was probably the strongest book in the series and overall amazing cozy mystery. I think as a cozy reader you start to figure out how to figure out who the killer is, but this one went above and beyond in my opinion. It was amazing! I also loved all the characters and felt like they really played a huge part in how wonderful this book was. I also love the mystery of the romance. Will she or wont she??!! A solid edition to the series.

I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced copy of Witch and Famous by Angela M Sanders. All thoughts and opinions are my own. Thank you to Netgalley and Kensington Books for providing an ARC to review.

Witch and Famous was such a fun fantasy/cozy mystery. This book is full of great characters and a fun mystery with a side of magic. It worked for me. I love how anchored the witch aspect of the story was, and while it weaved through the narrative, it wasn't the main focus. I won't go into spoiler details, but I liked the character development of our female lead. Finding oneself while finding a killer was a strong plot arc that everything else worked around. I give Witch and Famous 4/5 stars.

This is the 3rd book in the series, and this time Josie Way, a witch fairly new to her powers, has to fend off a Hollywood actress who is hot for Sam, the local sheriff and man that she loves, although she doesn't think he feels the same way about her.
What I like about these books is the small town in Oregon, the library setting, the crazy but sweet local people, her black cat, and Josie finding her magic. There are some scenes where she gets to stretch her powers in the library which are really fun. The only thing I didn't like as much was the ending. I thought the way she explained who the murderer was seemed like pure guesswork with little to back it up.
Still, this is a light and fun cozy mystery, and I will continue to read this series.
Thank you to NetGalley and Kensington Books for the ARC.

I really enjoyed this third book a lot because Josie's come so far with her magic, and it was cool how she had the books dancing every morning before anyone came. The books could do a lot for her now just by thinking it to them. I got a kick out of the Indy 500 book, but collectively let's just say "never underestimate the power of a good book" really came true in this book!

I didn't like that doggone Daphne actress at all! She wouldn't take her eyes or her hands off Sam, and despite how he's been nice but made no romantic moves to Josie yet, I'm still confident they'll find a way to get together. That was another way you'll see how Josie's grown as a witch when she has to make a more seasoned witch decision. I won't say what she was trying to decide due to not wanting to spoil anything.

I love how the townspeople who usually spent time in Darla's café were now hanging out in the library's kitchen. Well I did feel sorry for Josie always having to keep order because they did sometimes get a little bit rowdy! But they were super interested in sleuthing for her and some of their info did come in handy.

I hadn't really guessed whodunit and the whole thing got a little bit complex but it makes sense when you read it. The ending did sound more promising as far as a lot of things went, and even grumpy Roz got a happy ending!

I voluntarily read and reviewed an ARC of this book provided by Kensington Cozies via NetGalley, and my opinions are my own.

I didn’t realise that this book is part of a series, but after reading this book I really want to go back and read the earlier books in the series. The setting is wonderfully quirky, as are the assortment of fun secondary characters. I just love how Jodie’s magic allows her to communicate with books - what an unusual and fascinating ability! I’ve only recently started reading cozy mysteries and am excited to have found such a great author’s work to explore.

Josie Way has found her place in Wilfred, Oregon, and is settling in well with the residents. She's also learning to harness her witchy powers. This story moved a little slower than the others but it helped to set the story and get you acquainted with the new visitors in town. I loved the spotlight on Roz and her relationship and thought that the solution to the mystery was creative. I look forward to the next in the series.

This 3rd instalment in Angela M. Sanders's Witch Way Librarian Mystery series is fun with hints of paranormal sprinkled throughout. Curses and crimes collide with whimsy in this book, resulting in a clever cozy mystery you will love. Witch and Famous is stacked with secrets that only Josie Way, who has an impressive library housed in a Victorian mansion in Wilfred, Oregon, can penetrate to uncover the truth. This tale is well written and I love Rodney, Josie's cat who brings a pleasurable element to the storyline. I’m looking forward to reading the next book in the series as well as catching up with the first two.

I received a complimentary copy of this novel at my request from Kensington Books via NetGalley. This review is my own unbiased opinion.

I’m really enjoying this series a lot. This one actually ended up being my favourite so far.

There’s a lot more magic because Josie becoming more of an expert in her craft and I absolutely love that.

The plot and mystery were very entertaining.

Josie Way is a librarian in a small town of Wilfred, Oregon. Her assistant librarian Roz is a romantic author writing under a pen name. When Roz's newest release is chosen by a celebrity book club. Things get interesting in the little town. The celebrity Daphne Morris is a flirt and uses her charms on Lyndon. Which makes Roz insanely jealous and publicly threatening Daphne. Then Daphne's chef is found dead in Daphne's bath. Roz is named as a person of interest. Josie then uses her magic to find the real killer.

This was supposed to be my first book in the series but about 50 pages in. I knew I needed/wanted to read the series from the beginning. I love the characters, witchiness and the setting. I will definitely be reading the rest of the author's books and will continue reading this series.
