Aside from some errors in the text - I thought this was a really informative book. One that every person should read. As someone who constantly deals with medical bills, my eyes were opened to all of the things, we as patients, don't pay attention to.
Medical debt can threaten any of us at any time.
This book helps you prepare for that and gives you ideas on how to get out of debt if you're deep in it.
In her book, she concludes:
"You may have noticed a common theme among the successful resolution of several stories in this book. When providers and insurers ignore requests for help resolving problems with a medical bill, many folks go to the media.
"Hospitals, medical centers, and insurance companies dislike stories about financial bullying and mistreatment of their patients hitting social media or local or national news."
If you're in the USA, you're at risk of falling into medical debt.
Educate yourself on how to avoid it - or get out of it.
