Reckless brings the Adventures In Love series to a close with a story that was utterly charming and sweet to read.
As last man standing Maverick falls for Cybil's best friend Jade. Who's in town looking for a fresh start after her previous relationship and business failed.
But with issues of trust and future plans not meshing the pair have a lot to sort out if they're to get the happy ending they deserve.
And with lots of friendship feels, likable characters and little real drama. This was an enjoyable and engaging read. That I would happily recommend to others.
Another dreamy adventure from the charming Aurora Rose Reynolds. I'm loving this series- such a great, low angst, sweet escape. And I love how quick and easy they are to read- the romance is fast paced, sugary sweet, and with the right amount of spice.
Jade and Maverick fall into each other so easily and sweetly. And I loved both of these characters. We have ARR's alpha swoony hero, a total dreamy guy who falls and falls hard. And I adored Jade as a heroine. She's sweet, she's thoughtful, she's strong, and she's lovable. The romance is super consumable between them- made easy thanks to a lower angst/drama storyline.
An enjoyable read in this Adventures world- loving easy delightful moment.

In the third book of the series we follow Jade as she is looking for a fresh start in Montana where her best friend Cybil has created a family. She is wanting to focus on herself and getting her life on track what she doesn't expect is to find Maverick, who turns her world upside down.
Jade has had a rough go of things lately and is not looking for complications. She has been betrayed in her past and just wants to be independent (don't we all).
Maverick is enamored with Jade the moment he saves her from the blizzard but she challenges what he wants and makes him face his fears. I liked Maverick reservations but I wished they were explored more. I think it would have made the resolution more satisfying when they get together.
I loved the back and forth between the two characters and adding the dynamic of the other characters from the series definitely helped flesh out this story's world. I did enjoy the story but I think the 2nd one is still my favorite of the series.
Reckless by Aurora Rose Reynolds is book Three in the Adventures in Love Series. This is the story of Maverick and Jade. Jade has some bad times that makes her want to be close to her best friend Cybil. With Cybil she meets Maverick and they both feel a connection. This was another great read from Ms. Reynolds.
The third book in the Adventures in Love series is one that will touch your heart in such a special way. Maverick and Jade have both been damaged by love and this has these two doubting every step of the way and at times running scared. The chemistry and connection between these two is intense and one that radiates off the pages. Their story is drama filled and one that will not only make you smile and laugh but it will also make your heart hurt and tears will flow. As Maverick learns that sometimes love is not something to shy away from he will have to fight the damage that he has done in order to finally have the future he really does crave. A beautiful love story that will leave your heart overflowing with happiness.
This author is an auto -buy one for me ! I love how ARR creates her small town romances with insta love and possessive heroes!
Just like with the previous books, I absolutely adored Reckless! From the beginning until last pages I couldn't put it down. Maverick and Jade are bringing amazing romance that made my heart very warm. I loved how their relationship evolved thru the pages and I swear this author always brings her stories in the most addictive way.
The book isn't very long, but I enjoyed every single moment. It's relaxing, steamy and emotional story, just perfectly perfect for me.
4 Stars!
Jade has always had a reputation for being reckless, but after a string of bad luck everything in her life begins to fall apart. She's in desperate need of a fresh start so she heads from her home in Oregon to Montana where she will temporarily be staying. While trying to get to her best friend Cybil's house she gets stuck in a blizzard. She's trapped on the highway in the middle of a snowstorm when a gorgeous man comes to her rescue. Maverick is a wilderness retreat owner. She's only met him a couple times, and is quickly reminded how seriously beautiful he is. He's the best friend of Cybil's husband, so she should probably steer clear of him. She has a horrible track record when it comes to dating, but she can't deny their mutual attraction. As a crush intensifies will they complicate things by getting involved, and risk it all for love?
Reckless by Aurora Rose Reynolds is the third and final book in the Adventures in Love series. It's a sweet, standalone, small town, friends to lovers romance with a swoony, sexy alpha and his feisty, beautiful redhead. It's about friendship, undeniable connections, and amazing chemistry. I really loved this story and these characters. This was my first book in this series, and I can't wait to read the others! <333
Reckless is the third interconnected standalone in the Adventures in Love series by Aurora Rose Reynolds. In this novel, Jade has packed her car and journeyed to her best friend Cybil's house. Well, that was the intention anyway. Jade decides to travel during an extreme snowstorm and ends up stranded on the road. Maverick, a friend of Cybil and her husband, Tanner comes to the rescue and collects Jade and her dog Pebbles from the side of the road.
It becomes clear that Jade is after a new beginning after losing her business and she ends up finding it.
There were a few things I found throughout that needed further clarification or improvement. Jade only mentioned her ex-boyfriend briefly although he was a major factor in her business closing and moving somewhere new. It would have been interesting to have read more context on her previous relationship as it was crucial to her self-improvement.
Did the book portray a realistic scenario about opening a business?
Cybil and Jade open a new business in a small town. I understand books can be idealistic but not many 'ordinary' people have access to a significant amount of money. Jade mentions that the store covered its rent (which was said to be $2,000) and they made a profit within a month of opening. I find this difficult to believe, especially for a small town shop.
Can someone really go from not wanting children and a spouse to wanting it just from a talk with his sister?
The conflict in the novel is mainly a differing view on life goals between Jade and Maverick. Jade is hoping to marry and have a family whereas Maverick is absolutely certain he does not want to marry and does not want children. This difference in opinion is resolved very quickly by a pep talk by his sister.
In conclusion, this lighthearted and quick small-town romance was pleasant to read. For me personally, there were a few points I think needed addressing or exploring more but this may have been intentional on the author's behalf.
Thank you!
Reckless is the third book in the Adventures in Love series and was a good easy read, with very little conflict and could easily be read in a day.
Jade is moving from Oregon, after her bookshop shut in her hometown, to Montana to be closer to her best friend Cybil, from Rushed, who moved there after she married Tanner. Jade is nervous to uproot her whole life to another state, but is excited to start afresh, but on her way into town, she gets caught up in a snowstorm and must be rescued by Maverick, one of Tanner’s friends. There is chemistry between them, but every time it looks like something will happen, Maverick pulls away, so much so Jade begins to wonder if she’s imagining it. As she begins to put down roots in Montana, starting a new business with Cybil and being easily accepted into the friendship group, it becomes clear that Maverick is harbouring feelings he just can’t ignore. But how will this change in dynamic influence the group, or is it reckless of them to start something so quickly after meeting?
After the previous two books I was so excited for Maverick’s book as he’d always been a bit of an enigma, a quiet stoic man who would only talk when he had something important to say. I was hoping to see a bit more of the man behind the mask, and fall for him, but I was left feeling like I didn’t really know his character any better than when I started. He gives an indication at his past and why he is the way he is, but it didn’t really cause that much of problem in the end, and I was hoping for a bit more depth to his character. I really like Jade, and her ambition to do what she loved, reading and open up a shop that would not only help her achieve her dream but other women too. I did think everything fell into place a little bit too easily for everybody and everything, and I could’ve done with a bit more conflict and drama, but overall, it was a nice easy read. I am really hoping we will get Margret and Mason’s book, as their love story has been hinted all the way through, and I need to know the full saga that lead to them getting their own happily ever after!
3.75-4 stars. Aww, cute! This was a good book. Reckless is Jade and Maverick's story and is book three in the Adventures in Love series. . We met both of them in previous books in the series. Maverick is the last single guy in their trio of guys running their adventure business. Jade is best friend's with Cybil, the heroine of book one. After a bad breakup in which her ex stole her life savings and she had to close her bookstore, Jade is moving to town to start over, staying with her best friend. When she and Maverick meet, they have an instant attraction, but neither think they want to be in a relationship. Jade doesn't trust her instants because of her last relationship and Maverick has issues over his parent's relationship that make him want to never get married. But the two find themselves spending a lot of time together as the last two single friends in their group. They soon must decide if taking a chance on love is reckless or worth the risk.
Overall, I really liked this book. It got me out of a book funk. I really liked Jade and Maverick together and I enjoyed their story. Reckless was an entertaining, sweet, easy read. I have really enjoyed this series and am sad to see it end!
Reckless is a little edgier than the first two books. My main thought with the first two couples were how sweet and low angst they were. With Maverick and Jade's story, we get a bit of angst and uncertainty with this couple. Both Maverick and Jade are dealing with trust issues that leave them struggling to open up to each other. What I love about this author is that she doesn't usually make the angst overwhelm the story and you still get to enjoy them as a couple. If I had one complaint, it would just be that I felt this couple needed more pages to flesh out their relationship. I think with the kind of issues they had, I really wanted to see more time spent with them growing together. I still really enjoyed this couple and have loved this whole series. The epilogues were so sweet.
This is the third book in the Adventures in Love series, and I've enjoyed all of them so far. Maverick and Jade are the final couple. We met Jade in the first book as she is best friends with Cybil, so when Jade's life implodes in a big way, she packs up and moves to live near Cybil to try and find her way again. Maverick is best friends and business partners with Tanner, Cybil's husband, so when Jade gets stuck in a snow storm on her way into town, Maverick comes to the rescue. Their attraction to each other is evident from the beginning, but both resist it. Jade's choice in men has left her not wanting to jump in anything, and Maverick is carrying baggage from his childhood. However, before long, neither can resist the attraction. This is a very sweet, heartfelt small town romance. It's a very low angst love story and a great addition to the series.
A head first tumble into heartstopping romance. Reckless breaks every rule when it comes to matters of the heart. Reynolds brings the humor to heartache with a quick wit, sassy dialogue and enchanting romance. Maverick and Jade turn love into an adventure that leaves an impression on the heart.

I am a big fan of this author Until series, so i was so excited to read another series by her.
This story follows Jade and Maverick, two people that have been hurt in their past by others. Jade needs a fresh start after everything happens, so she moves to the town where her best friend lives. Maverick owns the wilderness retreat with Tanner and Blake. Both Jace and Maverick have trust issues stemming from their past relationships, so I enjoyed how they slowing started to change their views on love and how they started to trust each other. They started off as friends and slowly become more. They had great chemistry and I enjoyed that they had a hard time resisting each other. I also love all the side characters.
I would recommend if you like:
💛Small town romance
💛Found family
💛Friends to Lovers
💛 Spicy scenes
A special thanks to Montlake and NetGalley for this copy.
I have really loved this series and this was a great conclusion! Maverick is a growly, protective hero that I just adored. Both of them are guarded from their pasts and have to overcome that to fully embrace their relationship. It's a low angst, great banter, fun read.
I honestly enjoyed reading of Reckless although I couldn't find any connection between the title and the actual story. It was nice insta attraction yet slow-pace book.
Both main characters had past trust issues and needed to go through them but in the end they found their way to come over all the hurdles.
The plot was a little bit predictable but enjoyable anyway.
I was also loving all the by-characters which showed true friendship.
If you like insta-attraction and frienship you picked the right book and I can asure you will love it.
Such a sweet book by my favorite Aurora Rose Reynolds.
Jade and Maverick were perfect for each other. They both had trust issues from being hurt in the past from previous relationships and family. As they learned to give in to their feelings a beautiful love grew.
RATING: ⭐⭐⭐.5
STEAM: 🔥🔥🔥
Jade is making a huge change. She is moving to be closer to her best friend Cybil in a mountainous small town, leaving her life, her failed business, and her even bigger failure of a relationship.
What she did not expect in her trek to Montana was running into Maverick.
Maverick was not expecting someone like Jade, either. Now he cannot seem to get the redhead out of his mind. He thought he had closed the door on relationships forever, but will his feelings for Jade be the key to opening that door?
I enjoyed this read, but I also felt like it did not measure up to the other books in the series. Don't get me wrong: Jade and Maverick had amazing chemistry, and their spicy moments were definitely hot. There were fun moments among the ensemble cast, especially Everly's bachelor party. (And Margret is 100% my life goal.)
Unfortunately, because its predecessors were captivating and fantastic, this book did not quite achieve the high bar they set. The pacing was not as solid as in Rushed or Risky, and the climax of the story was not engaging as in the others.
That said, it is still a fun small-town romance love story. It can be read as a standalone, but I highly recommend going back to the beginning of the series to appreciate the little references to the other characters in the book.
** I am voluntarily reviewing an advance copy of this book. Thank you to Aurora Rose Reynolds, Montlake, and NetGalley for providing an ARC. **
This is a very sweet, small town romance with quite a few steamy moments. This is the third book in a small town series and though, I have not read the first two, I don't think it's very necessary to as I felt I didn't miss much from the main story.
I'm not a fan of fast-paced romances and this one very quickly jumps into the whole relationship within the story which is something that threw me off a little. Despite that, it was enjoyable to read Maverick and Jade's love story and how they dealt with the trust issues that had them struggling many times throughout the story.
I think the epilogue had to have been one of my favorite moments just because we got to see the growth that both of them had especially Maverick. I would have loved to seen their relationship more in depth and see them spend more time together than what we got. However, if you are looking for something quick and easy just to pass some time, this could very well be the book for you.
Also, the title of the book may also throw readers off only because there really is nothing "Reckless" about the story so that was a bit confusing too. However, I'm glad I got to give a new author a try which is something I'm always looking for. This book may not have been my cup of tea, but I'm sure many others would say differently.
Thank you Montlake for providing me with an ARC via NetGalley in exchange for an honest review!
