Reckless by Aurora Rose Reynolds was a sweet, angsty romance
Jade & Maverick meet through mutual friends.
When Jade moves to Montana Maverick helps her, when her car gets stuck during a storm and they become friends. And eventually that turns into more.
This was a cute read, with lots of great characters.

Arriving in Montana during a blizzard was not the most reckless thing that Jade has ever done, but at least she ends up rescued by Maverick. She moved to be near Cybil, her best friend who lived with Jade’s family after Cybil’s parents had died. From the time Maverick rescued her, he seems to appear wherever she is including at her recent date where everything went horribly wrong. Is he interested in her or just checking on her as a friend? She was ready to give up on men and just wanted to reestablish the business that she had lost. When Cybil suggests that they combine her talents with a bookstore for Jade, they begin to make progress on a new start for her. Maverick is unsuccessfully fighting his attraction to Jade. He is not interested marriage and children, but will that be a deal breaker for her? She may have been reckless in becoming emotionally and physically involved with Maverick, but she knows that he could be the one, if only he could accept that as well. Reckless Love is a cute, light, story about Jade and Maverick, two people who got burned in the past. Once they find each other, only then, they truly heal. The story was a little underwhelming. I just wanted more - more insight into their individual backgrounds and into what Mav & Jade were thinking. I love dialogue and I just wanted more between the two MCs.

After being betrayed by an ex, Jade moves in with her sister, Cybil, and her family. She needed a fresh start and that’s exactly what she got. From the second her and Maverick locked eyes - there was no going back.

I wish the MCs would’ve gotten to know each other more. I wanted them to be better friends before they became more.

Even though this book was not one of my favorite stories, it definitely makes me want to try some of Aurora Rose Reynolds other books! I would love to see what other characters and stories she has written!

This book was filled with another group of friends that I enjoyed reading about! They are a found family and I love those!

Aurora brings us another great series. He we meet Jade and Maverick. Jade has had a rough time and loses her job and home. Her bestie helps her out and moves to a new town. Here she meets Maverick, who is a cool Alpha type but hides behind his walls. Jade knows all about the walls since she has had such a hard time with men. It was instalove but not just about sex but comport and low angst . Maverick wants to take care of Jade but is stuck in his own head and takes tell almost the end to get his head out of his butt. Maverick and Jade are a great match for each other. It an end of a great series and can't wait to see what Aurora brings out next. As always Aurora is a one click buy for me and love to support a phenomenal author!

I have enjoyed the Adventure in Love series. Reckless is a bit of a slow burn. It is a sweet, easy and small town romance with low angst.

Maverick and Jade have good chemistry and they both have issues from their past they are dealing with. But I did enjoy their journey and them finding their love for each other.

This was a fast read, but a perfect ending to the series. I really enjoyed getting to see the characters from the first 2 books. Thank you netgalley for the ARC in exchange for my honest opinion

A great read, the story of Jade and Maverick. She is new in town and he helps her out after she gets stuck in the snow. There is a connection between them, but will they give it a chance?
I liked how it was told from both points of view and hope there are more books in this series.

This is such a good series. Jade has moved to town to start over and be closer to her best friend after losing her book store and breaking up with her boyfriend. Maverick is close with her best friend and her husband. And Jade and him have been around each other briefly. Not wanting to ruin any friendships Maverick decides that nothing can happen with him and Jade. But the more time they spend with each other his feelings start to change. This is a sweet, low angst read.

After her life basically imploded in Oregon, Jade decides to pack up and start over by moving to Montana to be near her best friend Cybil and her husband Tanner (from book 1, Rushed). The book starts off with Jade driving to Montana and getting stuck in a snowstorm. Over Jade’s objection, Cybil who is concerned for her best friend is able to contact Maverick to go and rescue her. Although they are already familiar with each other, it is now that they are spending more time together, that they both feel the chemistry. Unfortunately, they both are hesitant to start anything, but their attraction is too strong to keep away from each other for long.

It was really great watching their developing relationship. Maverick did have more difficulty getting over what made him want to stay away from relationships and caused a bit of heartbreak, but this too did not last too long. I loved the epilogue!

Overall, Reckless was a wonderful and sweet love story and I thoroughly enjoyed it.

Thank you to Netgalley and Montlake Romance for giving me the opportunity to read and review this book. All opinions are my own.

Aurora always gives a satisfying, romantic read And Reckless is no different! Loved the characters, the story!

Reckless is not the usual type of book I'd find myself reading, however it was good escapism.
The characters weren't unlikeable as such but I really felt they were lacking any sort of depth.
In saying that, if it's light reading and a distraction from the real world your after, then the world of Jade & Maverick will provide you with that.

This by far is my favorite story of the series and a top 5 ARR book!!!! You see glimpses of both Maverick and Jade in the previous stories but these two stole my heart. Jade is down on her luck and starting over after losing not only her bookstore but her life savings to her jerk ex-boyfriend. She decided on Montana where her best friend Cybil and her husband live. Maverick is best friends and business partners with Tanner, Cybil's husband.

While Jade thinks that Maverick barely even looks at her as a friend, he is trying to keep his distance because he is completely enthralled with Jade. I loved how even though Maverick knew Jade wasn't ready for anything, he also couldn't stay away. He was always checking on her and stopping by for movies nights. There was a real sweetness to him that he only let Jade see.

I loved their connection and how they both fell in love without even realizing it. The bathtub in the house scene was sooooo sweet, and don't even get me started on that epilogue.... cue the waterworks.

I absolutely adored every moment in this book, Aurora Rose Reynolds keeps outdoing herself with each book she writes. The tales she weaves makes you get lost in her world and you get attached to all her charecters and they seem to become part of you.

Jade and Maverick are worth getting lost into, the pairing is like the perfect love, the love we all wish for. It was great catching up with the Adventures in love gang.

I would absolutely recommend this book and author to anyone who loves an epic love with an amazing storyline to go with. I hope you love this book as much as I have. Happy Reading ♡

QOTD: Have you even been stranded in a storm?
My A: No, but I'm 100% that dummy that travels when the tornado sirens are going off with my windows down enjoying the "breeze". 🤣😜

Book three in Aurora Rose Reynolds Adventures In Love series, Reckless, is SO good. I sat down and DEVOURED this book in one sitting, finishing in two hours and already itching to read more. This is not my first Aurora Rose Reynolds book, so I knew going in I'd love her writing, but I forgot just how much I love it! There's nothing better than clicking with an author's writing style and ARR's is *gold*. I seriously think anyone and everyone who reads and loves romance would love her books!

BLURB:
Jade has always been the reckless type. But after her relationship implodes and her business goes under, she realizes it might be time to change her ways. She decides on a fresh start in a new place: Montana.

But shortly after her arrival in Big Sky Country, she meets headstrong wilderness retreat owner Maverick, whose name, fittingly, means “dissenter.” Jade tries to convince herself he’s not the type of man she needs in her life. The problem is, she wants him in her life. She wants him more than anything.

For Maverick, his attraction to this out-of-towner is undeniable. But he’s sworn off relationships—until he gets to know the fiery-haired, fiery-tempered Jade. He can’t help but wonder if it’s worth opening himself up to her. It’s a gamble, sure. But is it reckless?

Or is love a high-stakes game of risk and reward that just might pay off in the end?

What’s not to like about a swoon-worthy hero and an independent and gutsy heroine finding love? Of course they experience a few bumps, some backtracking and some emotional turmoil along the way to a happily ever after, but that happens in most relationships. Both Maverick and Jade have guards up around their hearts after being hurt in the past. Having mutual friends in common, for years they have been around each other for a few hours here and there, but because they lived hours away from each other, Maverick hid his attraction to Jade. Now that Jade has moved to town to be near her best friend and to start over after losing her business and being swindled by her ex, Maverick can’t ignore his attraction to her. Yet, he does his best to resist her. His parents were hardly a good example of commitment or love, and he has deep-rooted abandonment issues. Jade tells herself she is done with men, but there is just something about Maverick she can’t ignore, especially after he rescues her when she is stranded during a snow storm. Dating in secret so as not to raise the expectations of their friends, both discover they have deeper feelings about the other than they could ever have expected. Can they both let go of the pain of past experiences to move forward and build a relationship that might lead to a happily ever after?

Both Maverick and Jade are wonderful, relatable characters that quickly drew me into their story. I loved the chemistry between them, the slow realization of their deeper feelings, and also the close relationships they had with their friends. I thoroughly enjoyed reading this book! I received an ARC of this book via NetGalley and I am voluntarily leaving an honest review.

A sweet, sensual read about two people who are gun shy about any kind of relationship. One feels undeserving of it and just doesn't believe in love and the other believes so strongly in love that she just keeps picking the wrong guys. Forced proximity will bring these two together but is there a bond strong enough to overcome their individual past

I absolutely adored this novel and was quickly swept up into this small town contemporary romance. This was the first book I have read by Aurora Rose Reynolds and it worked for me on every level, I have now already binged through 4 more of her novels and I am looking forward to my continued exploration of her back list. Reckless is the third book in her Adventures in Love series and it definitely can be read as a standalone, and I am now even more excited to read the other novels in this series! Reynolds writing has a conversational ease that takes care throughout all moments of the novel. While this novel feels like a slice of life story between two people growing a relationship, she makes she that her characters feel well rounded and their emotions and feelings feel rooted in truth. This well paced novel is full of charm, delight, moments of struggle, moments of truth, hard work and perseverance as two people learn to grown and understand someone new in their life.

After Jade relationship implodes and her business destructs, she makes the decision to uproot her life and move to Montana where her cousin, who is basically her best friend and sister, has built a life for herself. As she is rebuilding the foundation to her future she is constantly surrounded by Maverick, a wilderness retreat owner and her cousin's husband's best friend. Their instant chemistry and attraction makes it really hard for these two to stay away from each other, so it is only a matter of time before all the tension explodes.

I was so immediately swept up into this story, we meet Jade on her road trip to uprooting her life and moving to Montana, and on her way she gets caught up in a snowstorm, so Maverick is sent to rescue her. I really adored their meet cute, it is fun that these two strangers must instantly trust each other, and as soon as they meet there is already a steady tension and attraction that keeps building. I love that Jade and Maverick, who have both been unlucky in romance, cautiously dance around each other, but can't seem to stay away from the other. I love that we watch Jade find inner strength as she begins to rebuild her life, she has learned caution but she is also learning to accept help from the people who love her and want the best from her. I love that Maverick is constantly inserting himself in Jade's life, he has a hard time staying away from her and he challenges her to open herself up and to make friends and to have fun. Watching Jade and Maverick both experience jealousy when it comes to the other creates the perfect layer of humor and really helps to build up their chemistry. This novel is sensually steamy and beautiful, and the physical side of their relationship, in and out of the bedroom is explosive and really helps to show the draw these to have to the other. But this novel does not only hinge on their romantic relationship, it is also full of loving friends and family who all want the best for Maverick and Jade. The foundation of friendships really create a wonderful support group for the hero and heroine to help them examine the situation and their feelings in a more clear way.

This small town contemporary romance is a definite must read from me! If you love a sweet and easy to read romance that will quickly sweep you up into the story than Aurora Rose Reynolds is definitely an author to check out, she does not shy away from the every day or the hard human emotions and situations that come with life and being human.

5 Star Review Reckless (Adventures in Love #3) by Aurora Rose Reynolds

I have read a number of books by Aurora Rose Reynolds but I have not read anything in the Adventures in Love series. Reckless can be read as a stand alone as I had no issues.
Jade is after a new start and chooses Montana. Meeting Maverick she is drawn to him despite knowing she should stay away. Maverick is just as attracted to the “out of towner” but the last thing he wants is a relationship.
As the attractions build, both find it impossible to resist. Could this be the start of something wonderful? Or are they destined to crash and burn?
One click and find out. I received a copy from the publisher through Net Galley.

Sweet, low-angst romance

Jade needs to start over, so she's moving from Oregon to Montana to stay with her best friend and her husband, whose best friend is the sexy yet taciturn Maverick. Jade's run of bad luck has severely hampered her self confidence, so she doesn't see Maverick's attraction to her until he all but spells it out for her.

As the third book in the series, I really enjoyed getting to see Tanner and Cybil, and Blake and Everly again. I love how they're working together to start Jade's dream business, and how quickly she integrates into the local business community.

The romance felt quite one-sided, as less than 20% of the chapters are from Maverick's POV. We know all about what Jade is feeling and why, but we're barely given enough to balance out what Maverick was looking for, beyond his initial attraction to her. The reason for the "break up to make up" seemed like it should have been something Maverick disclosed earlier, but then again maybe it wasn't that big of a deal since he was so quickly convinced to change his mind.

The pacing was terrific and the characters are charming and relatable. The author never missed an opportunity to use the wrong pronoun, especially with conjunctive pairs, but otherwise the writing was easy going and interesting. The HEA was followed by a years-later epilogue that updated us on all the couples in this series, so if you're already invested in these characters you absolutely do not want to miss this one. I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this book.

3rd book in The Adventure in love series....This is Jade and Mavericks story. Great and fast paced read.
Jade and Maverick both have truth issues, Jade from a past relationship and Maverick from his parents. I love how these two come together so easily but both were a little reserved. I love the little bit of angst it had. Such a sweet romantic story....the perfect rainy day read.
