This is the first book in a trilogy. Nell and her two sisters want to help her parents save the family coffee shop. The best way to do that is for one of them to enter into a marriage of convenience with a business partner. Since none of them want to do this they decide that if they find love and an engagement in the next 30 days they are not it. So the race is in!

Nell (accountant and knitter) decide this is the push she's been waiting for the approach her long time crush, Grant (outdoor adventure store owner and guide). She signs up for one of his hikes and nothing goes according to plan. This could easily be a hallmark movie! There is an instant attraction/connection (love at first sight, anyone?) and immediate dreams of a future together. Until Grant gets wind of the bet and wants out. But he wants Nell to break up with him so he's not the bad guy. I really enjoyed the hijinks that ensued as he tried to scare Nell away. She knew something was up and doubled down. There's some forced proximity and opposites attract/ fish out of water tropes (Nell is definitely not an outdoorswoman).

This is a sweet summer romance. Very low steam (maybe a kiss) and very clean. Definitely cheesy and a little over the top at times (like a hallmark movie) but an enjoyable read. I'm invested now and want to read the next two books!

Thanks to the publisher for a copy. All opinions are my own.

This contemporary romance is set in a small-town in Maine. It is adorable and sweet story. Nell has had a long-time crush on the local outdoorsman named Grant. In order to save her parents home and business, she agrees to a pact with her sister to find love in 30 days. This pact happens to be the push she needs to make her feelings known to the man of her dreams.

Their insta-love story comes by forced proximity after being stranded on hike in torrential rains. Nell and Grant take shelter in his remote cabin after roads are washed out. All is going well until Grant finds out about the pact. Can they overcome the misunderstanding to let true love win?

First Bride to Fall is the first in a new series, and a quick read. I look forward to future book in Majestic Maine series.

3 sisters make a pact that the last person among them who couldn’t find love and be engaged within 30 days is to agree on a prearrange marriage to save their family’s coffee shop.

This is the 1st book of the series focusing on Nell who have secret crush on Grant for many years now. This pact is forcing her to step out and take matters into her own hand and hearts. She decided to join on a hiking excursion organised by Grant’s company and due to bad weather and Nell’s inexperience, Nell injured herself and found herself end up at Grant’s cabin together w him. The story then continue with a lot of miscommunication between the two of them.

The story is a fun and quick read for me and narration of the story flow very well. I love the shy banter between Nell and Grant and chemistry between the two of them. Love how they fall for each other. Can’t wait to see what happen to the 2 other sisters. Am curious and wonder who will be the one who is going to marry the rich Billionaire, Aiden.

The family is in financial trouble and their Coffee Shop could close at any time.
The three sisters then make a pact (or a bet) who marries first to a deadline, to save the family from bankruptcy.

Nell Delaney already has the right candidate, after all, she's always had a crush on him, Grant Williams. There's just one big issue: Grant is a man who loves outdoor adventures, while Nell...well...let's say she stumbles more than she walks.
Despite that, they seem to have perfect chemistry, and even the way she dislikes being outdoors doesn't bother him all that much. But then, he finds out about the sisters' bet, and that he's the target.
To make her give up, he decides to be the worst bachelor possible.
Who will win?
A delicious rom-com.

First Bride to Fall by Ginny Baird is the first book in a stand alone series about three sisters that makes a bet who is going to marry Aidan.
It takes off from here, and is filled with small twists and turns to see if any of the sisters can find true love.

There are these sisters, and they each have their own hopes and dreams. When their family’s way of life is threatened though, they are willing to risk their future to race to find love in 30 days.

This story is such an adorable small-town clean romance. I love that Nell sets her sights on Grant, a man she’s always loved. The two don’t have the same things in common, which creates those silly moments I enjoyed!

I really enjoyed the situations in the story. I had so many moments where I was laughing out loud! There are sweet, heartwarming moments as well. It was a bit over-the-top, and unrealistic to expect that these sisters can find love and get engaged in 30 days, but that made it such a fun premise! It’s a really well-rounded story and was a compelling read.

I can’t wait for the next books in this series! I need to know how the other two sisters’ stories go! I would absolutely recommend this book to any rom-com reader!

In First Bride to Fall, three sisters find out that one of them must have a marriage of convenience in order to save their family business. They make a bet that the last of them to secure an engagement will be the one to marry the rich billionaire, Aiden. Nell knows the perfect person to pursue.

This one was a cute romance. Nell has been in love with Grant forever. So for her, falling for Grant was easy. For Grant, it was very fast for me. They do only have 30 days, but it was still insta-love. There is a lot of miscommunication in this one. A lot could have been soled with one conversation. But, it did lead to some really funny scenes where they basically both know what is going on, but neither will admit it. I did find myself laughing a lot. I loved the ending. It was very sweet. I highly recommend this one.

𝘈 𝘴𝘩𝘺 𝘸𝘰𝘮𝘢𝘯. 𝘏𝘦𝘳 𝘰𝘶𝘵𝘥𝘰𝘰𝘳𝘴𝘺 𝘤𝘳𝘶𝘴𝘩. 𝘈𝘯𝘥 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘣𝘦𝘵 𝘵𝘩𝘢𝘵 𝘤𝘰𝘶𝘭𝘥 𝘣𝘳𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘮 𝘵𝘰𝘨𝘦𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘳…𝘰𝘳 𝘪𝘮𝘱𝘭𝘰𝘥𝘦 𝘴𝘱𝘦𝘤𝘵𝘢𝘤𝘶𝘭𝘢𝘳𝘭𝘺.

Nell Delaney will do almost anything for her parents and her two sisters. But enter a marriage of convenience to save the family’s coffee shop? Too far. So Nell and her sisters strike a deal: whoever hasn’t found love in thirty days has to step up to take one for the team. The good news? Nell knows the perfect guy to fall in love with. The bad news? She’s going to have to pretend she likes the outdoors…a lot.

Adventure guide Grant Williams knows immediately that Nell is not exactly Little Miss Outdoorsy. She’s a walking natural disaster―an amazingly adorable disaster. And whoa, their chemistry is unbelievable. Everything between them is so perfect, he’s not even a little bit shocked when he starts thinking of forever…

Right up until he catches the town gossiping about the Delaney sisters’ bargain and realizes she’s just using him to win a bet. His family’s unreliable reputation means he can’t just dump one of the town’s sweethearts. No, she needs to dump him. If she’s going to pretend to be the perfect doting bride, well, he’ll just pretend to be the worst bachelor on the market.

Let the games begin…

With their family business in jeopardy Nell’s mother has decided that one of her three daughters will marry the son of the person who has put them in this position. Nell and her sisters decide that whichever of the three of them that doesn’t fall in love in the next month is the one who will do it and it is game on. Nell knows exactly who she wants and now she just needs to convince him.

Grant is surprised to see Nell join one of her tours as it doesn’t seem like something she would be interested in however all it would take is being stranded due to a minor accident for the sparks to fly. Everything was going so well until he found out what her true intentions were and now he is determined to show her just unsuitable he can be.

Misunderstandings, humorous and heartwarming moments as Nell is determined to claim her man while Grant is determined to lose the woman he believes only wants him for one reason. Let the chaos begin!

Nell is trying to avoid a marriage of convenience by pretending to be in love with someone else. She makes a deal with her two sisters that whoever doesn't fall in love will have to get married. Enter Grant who Nell actually has had a crush on. He begins to fall for Nell but then finds out she has a deal with her sisters. He can't dump her, but maybe he can get her to dump him.

There's plenty of humor and fun, but also sweet romance as Nell and Grant figure out their relationship. I thought the story moved at a good pace and was a nice read. I am looking forward to the other books in the series.

In order to save her parents’ coffee shop from ruin, Nell Delaney or one of her sisters must marry the son of their former business partners’ Aiden Stone. In order to provide the inflow of cash needed, Nell, Charlotte or Misty must marry him within 30 days. The sisters make a bet and agree that whoever isn’t engaged in those 30 days will marry Aiden. Nell sets her sights on adventure loving Grant Williams, her high school crush.

First Bride to Fall is a sweet, clean romance, with lots of humorous scenes. Grant and Nell are both highly like able characters, who I’d want to be friends with, which just makes you root for them to fall in love even more. Even if a bit predictable at time, I still found it very entertaining.

Ginny Baird is back with another fun rom-com with a bit of a Hallmark-y feel. As with her other bride books, this one was quite entertaining. It’s mostly a light-hearted rom-com, but there is plenty of emotion packed between the lighthearted scenes as you move toward the end of the story. It’s cute, quirky, and full of hijinks and shenanigans. If you’re looking for a feel-good read heavy on the fun and light on emotion, this will definitely be for you.

I thoroughly enjoyed this book. It was fun, romantic, and the characters were awesome. My favorite part was the fun banter between Nell and Grant. The sparks and chemistry just added to the story. I enjoyed how Nell clearly was not an outdoors girl but she pretended to be because of her feelings for Grant. That led to many fun antics in the book as Nell and Grant outdid each other with their antics. I will not disclose what the antics were about because I do not want to spoil the book. I received an advance copy of this book and I willingly chose to write an honest review.

First Bride to Fall is an enjoyable, opposites attract romance novel from author Ginny Baird.

The banter and chemistry between shy Nell and adventure guide grant was a joy to read! They were very different but fit so well together, it was really sweet to watch them fall for each other.

The misunderstandings/marriage bet thing seemed a bit overdone, and it was frustrating at times, but overall this is a fun and sweet romance novel.

First Bride to Fall is the first standalone in a series.

Nell Delaney and her two sisters are making a pact. Whichever one of them can not be engaged in thirty days must marry the son of the family that took everything from them. By doing this one of them will secure their families bakery and future.

Nell has a plan. She is going to step out of her comfort zone and zero in on the one man she has always wanted, Grant Williams. She signs up for Grant’s hiking tour and things start to get interesting. When Nell and Grant end up in a cabin together things seem to be getting off to a good start. Then her perfect plan starts going sideways. Can Nell fix things before it is too late?

This novel by Ginny Baird had me hooked from the moment Nell and her sisters make their pact. To not spoil the fun, I can not tell you what my favourite part is, but the banter between Nell and Grant will have you giggling, guaranteed. The characters are so well written, and I love the story line. I am hoping this is a series, so we get to see which sister ends up having to marry Aidan. It is a wholesome romance with a few twists and turns. Thanks so much to Entangled Publishing for my advanced readers copy which I voluntarily read and reviewed. This is the perfect summer read friends!

If you are a fan of a sweet romance, I think you will really like this one. Nell Delaney learns that her family's coffee shop is in trouble. A deal is made between her and her sisters. One of them needs to marry within the next 30 days. Nell sees this as her chance to finally get up the courage to go after her longtime crush, Grant. After a group hike gone wrong, Grant and Nell wind up in his cabin together overnight and they learn that they have more in common than they thought.

This has many romance tropes to love....unrequited crush, only one bed, forced proximity. It all works really well. What didn't quite work for me is how Nell lies to Grant from the start. She's brave enough to go after him but without disclosing the situation with her family. And while I can understand Grant's frustration with her when he finds out, he came out a touch mean in his reaction to her. The maturity level just wasn't there for these two for their ages. That being said, it is romance and has the HEA and I did love the setting and overall enjoyed these two characters.

I've been enjoying Ginny Baird's bride series and will definitely look for more from her in the future.

Oh, the craziness when two mothers put their heads together and plan a way for both families to survive a slow business. One Mother has a son and the other Mother has three daughters. Inside of doing rock, paper scissors, they bet a thirty-day challenge as to who will be the last one needing to get married...the last one single has to marry the son.

This brings us to Nell, the oldest, and her long-standing crush, Grant Williams. She has been interested forever but never acted on it. He is all outdoorsy and she is the spa. Nell decides to pursue him, gets her camping look on and they start to have some major chemistry. Only hiccup comes when Grant becomes aware of the "bride bet" and it raises his hackles. Now he decides he is going to push Nell to dump him so he isn't the one to blame.

Let the games begin!

First of all, it will keep me reading this series just to see who has to step up and take one for the team. In First Bride to Fall by Ginny Baird Nell Delaney has already decided that it will not be her. In fact she has already found the guy to fall in love with, meaning she is already infatuated with him perhaps even a little in love with him. The problem is that he is totally an outdoorsy kind of guy and she is not so much, hardly at all. Okay, not at all.

Adventure guide Grant Williams recognizes this fact right off the bat. However, the finds Nell so adorably cute. What follows is a darling fun story. It will be impossible to read this without a smile on your face the entire time. I even found Nell’s mother funny with her “This is how to solve our coffee shop financial problems” solution to be too cleverly silly for words.

Need a break from the seriousness of today’s world, then kick back, relax, and have fun reading First Bride to Fall. Now which sister will fall next and more importantly who will step up to take one for the team?

The publisher through Net Galley provided a digital ARC. I have voluntarily decided to read and review, giving my personal opinions and thoughts.

First Bride to Fall is the delightful first story in the Majestic Maine series and captured my imagination early on, and emotionally never let go until the end. Nell and her sisters have come up with a grand scheme to avoid having to enter into an arranged marriage with the son of the man who did their father wrong years ago. To them, a fate worse than death – but someone will have to take on that challenge to save the family business. Unless… they each find someone to love, willing to marry them within a very short time frame. Impossible? Perhaps, but when one’s back is up against the wall it’s amazing what can be accomplished.

Nell believes she has this in the bag since she’s always had a crush on Grant, a local man who is also an adventure guide who practically lives for the outdoors life. Nell, not so much. But she’ll finally get up her courage and go after the man she believes could be the answer to her prayers – a man to love her and save her family’s business all in one swoop. It would be so much easier if she didn’t loathe the outdoors and on their first hike Nell ends up injured. As the saying goes, the rest is romantic history as they fall deeply in love.

Until… Grant makes a trip into town and discovers what the sisters are up to and can’t decide if he’s angrier or brokenhearted over the fact that he believes he’s been played. So, Grant makes a plan of his own, one that won’t be exactly easy but he feels he’s justified in his actions. What happens beyond this point is a fun, witty, engaging romance between two people who really do care about each other but need to have that fact proven to them, fast.

I had fun with First Bride to Fall. Grant and Nell are a fun couple, perfect for each other if only they can get past a few rather major issues. Watching them navigate their romance, the good and the bad parts, was an emotional journey full of potholes. I laughed, got teary-eyed, definitely felt angry at times, and always believed in this couple. If you love a solid romance, family issues, learning to trust again, and a love story that will touch your heart then you’ll want to get started on the Majestic Maine series right now. I don’t believe you’ll be disappointed.
