Wow........ what a thrilling roller coaster of a read I enjoyed the twists and turns and the edge of your seat moments this was a fantastic thriller
*Thanks to NetGalley and the publisher for this arc in exchange for my honest review*
A great thriller - I would recommend it!
The story started out good, but there were times that dragged for me and the characters and plot all seemed a bit stereotypical and cliche. Overall, it was ok and well written besides the dragged on bits, but it just wasn't one of my favorites.
A woman wakes up from a coma and doesn’t know what happened or who she is. The only thing she remembers is her name, Blue. Blue finds out she fell from a hotel window, but has no idea why she was at the hotel. Did she really fall or did someone push her? Who can she trust? Is her friend Lorraine really her friend? Blue must fight her amnesia to figure out what happened and to stay safe.
This book with capture you quickly and keep you turning pages to discover what really happened.
What fast-paced, well written read, that kept me hooked from beginning to end. I haven't read anything by this author in the past, but will do so again in future.
The story opens with the main character Blue waking up in the hospital shacked to her bed. She only remembers her first name and has dissociative amnesia, which she received after falling from a 4 story building. Miraculously she survived with only minor injuries. Blue receives a phone call where someone tells her she will die unless she gives them the information they're after. With help from people around her she unlocks her memories in order to figure out what happened. Overall this was a great read I would definitely recommend it. Thank you to NetGalley and the publisher for the advanced reader copy.
2.5
This is a very standard mystery/thriller. The characters and plot were quite stereotypical for this genre. At times the story was quite engaging while other times the plot seemed to move slowly. I feel like I've read this story before and unfortunately it just wasn't for me.
Interesting book to read. Lots of twists and turns. The plot was good but I had an idea of how it could play out but didn’t. Could have been better,
Forget Me Not by Daco S. Auffenorde
#ForgetMeNot #NetGalley.
Thriller, check. Amnesia, yes please.
A woman falls from a hotel and a coma ensued. She wakes up not knowing much. She knows her name but little else.
So begins our journey with Blue, a beautiful and mysterious lady.
Will she remember? And What if anything will she remember?
I enjoyed tagging along with Blue, learning things, being confused about most everything, until the ending.
I kept reading because I wanted to know all the secrets.
Did I learn them? The reader will just have to read the book to find out.

Thank you to NetGalley and the publisher for the ebook.
I found this book really interesting at the beginning - a girl waking up at the hospital without her name, identity or any memory of herself. Blue & Detective DeLuca go down a path together to find out who she is and if she jumped or was pushed.
It was the making of a good thriller but it did follow a predictable path with some unlikely allies that kept the interest. I did not fly through this book as I normally do with a thriller and I contribute that to the introduction of characters and descriptions because you’re meeting people and Blue is.
I would still recommend this book for slower pace thriller readers.
The plot was quite predictable and none of the characters showed much originality and rather seemed stereotypical. The ending wasn’t very likely but at least it did keep me reading till the end.
Wonderful well written plot and story line that had me engaged from the start. It was very fast-paced. The writing style kept me hooked and I didn't find myself losing any interest. I enjoyed getting to know each of the characters and how real the story felt.
Whoa! What a ride. It was very fast-paced. The writing style kept me hooked and I didn't find myself losing any interest. I enjoyed getting to know each of the characters and how real the story felt. The author did a great job painting the setting, so it was easy for me to visualize the scene played out before me. I recommend giving this one a chance!
She lost her memory so everything is questionable and confused. This reminds me of another story from a different author who lost her memory and trying to find answers of who they are, what happened etc. slowly they get their memory back but in a very dark way. I like that it was leaving me in what will happen next.
Engaging, Intriguing…
When Blue wakes in a hospital bed, she learns that she has been in a coma following a fall from a high building. Blue has few vague memories of anything. Was she pushed or did she actually jump? Is someone out to get her? If so, why? She must get to the truth. With a nicely drawn cast this is an engaging tale veering, at times, between a traditional mystery and romantic suspense. Intriguing reading nonetheless.
She lost her memory. Now she might lose her life.
A beautiful woman wakes in a hospital bed, shackled and confused. She’s been in a coma for weeks. And can only remember her first name—Blue.
Blue learns she fell from a window on the fourth floor of a hotel. Did she jump? Or was she pushed? To discover the truth, Blue must figure out who she is and what she was doing in that hotel.
And she needs to do it fast. Because someone is out there, hunting Blue down, waiting for an opportunity to strike.
Not knowing where to turn or who to trust, Blue must rely on her instincts to survive. Gradually, her memories begin to return, and they’re darker than she could ever have imagined.
Will she put the pieces of her life back together before she’s silenced forever?
This is a brilliant read.
Wonderful well written plot and story line that had me engaged from the start.
Love the well fleshed out characters and found them believable.
Great suspense and found myself second guessing every thought I had continuously.
Can't wait to read what the author brings out next.
Recommend reading.
I was provided an ARC from NetGalley and the publisher. This is my own hone\st voluntary review.
Forget Me Not is the story of a women who wakes up from a coma after a fall out of a four story window. She doesn't remember anything but when asked her name she replies "Blue."
As Blue learns about how she came to be in the hospital she questions did she jump or was she pushed? Blue is now being hunted and she needs to find out why and what has brought her to this quickly before they find her.
This was an action packed mystery from start to finish.
This wasn't my favourite read by any means. It was pretty predictable n all a bit wishy washy. The romance aspect seemed a but half a*sed n might have bn better if it'd been either properly explored or just left out all together. There just wasn't anything that stood out for me I'm afraid
Thank you to the publisher and NetGalley for allowing me to review this book.
Blue wakes up alone in a hospital bed with no memory of who she is. She learns she's been injured after falling out of a window in a hotel. As her memories return in bits and pieces she discovers that she is a woman of mysteries.
I couldn't get into this book. I didn't enjoy the plot or the characters. It was just a miss for me.
Thank you to Netgalley and the author for the arc of this book! I was really excited to start this book after reading the description.
A woman falls out of the fourth floor of a hotel and wakes up from a coma in hospital with no memory. Who is she and who can she trust?
From the first page, the story captured my interest and had me flipping the pages for more. Although I though the ending seemed rather rushed, it was a quick read for me and would recommend to anyone looking for a fast paced thriller.
