ARC received for review
I loved Billy. He maybe human, but he was raised with the pack, so he knows all the tricks. Addie's stalker is a real piece of work (but then aren't most of them). I'm loving this new generation because we get to see all the parents again.

Humans and Weres oh my
Addie and Billy are facing big decisions, one step in to save the other and their lives are forever changed. This can be read as a standalone, but if you want more details on some of the pack members, you'll have to read the other wolf series by the author. A great romance with sweet and pearl clenching parts.

As the Forgotten Brotherhood series is one of my favorite series, I was very happy to see a new series of N.J. Walters on Netgalley. Wolf in the Woods is the first of the Salvation Pack Next Generations Series. Although I hadn’t read the first Salvation Pack series, I expected the series to be just as thrilling as the Forgotten Brotherhood series. And N.J. doesn’t disappoint. We directly dive in when we start the book with Addie on the run from another werewolf. And Billy stepping up to save her. Which doesn’t go very smoothly, as Billy is a mere human and no match against a werewolf.
The story continues, and keeps you reading on and on. And although the Forgotten Brotherhood is still my favorite, I am still looking forward to reading about the werewolf pack in the next episodes. Four out of five stars from me and a special thank you to Netgalley for providing the arc.

Wolf in the Woods by N.J. Walters is the First book in the Salvation Pack: The Next Generation. This is the story of Addie Fuller and Billy Gallagher. Addie doesn't want to mate with a wolf member who isn't taking no as his answer. Billy is a human who has grown up with the wolf pack and he knows that he shouldn't interfere but he can't stop himself from helping Addie. This brings them closer but can they be together?

I just loved that all the original pack members are featured in this book & you get you find out how they settled in the Salvation Pack.
This time we pick up with Billy who is the human child of Sue & Elias who has gone to camp away from the pack but comes across Addie. She has gone on a run with two males from her own pack but had thought there would be more of the pack on the run. One of the males, Simon had tricked her into going as he wanted to force her to mate as she had refused him.
Billy steps in when Addie is under threat but being a human (even one brought up in a pack) is no match for a full wolf.
Great storyline & I can’t wait to read the rest of this series

This is definitely one of the better books by NJ Walters. Splendid storytelling and a superb romance. Billy and Addie have a once-in-a-lifetime romance. Good solid characters.

Salvation I’m dancing around in excitement to find out N.J. Walters has created a spin-off from her Salvation Pack series. It’s one of my favorites and I wasn’t quite ready to let it go. AND now I don’t have to with the Salvation Pack: The Next Generation series. WooHoo!
I just loved this book. The pacing, the characters, the world-building from the original series grabbed me from the very beginning. I can see how maybe some readers won’t like the forced mating subject but I think it was handled very well and is an important aspect to the story. I really enjoyed the dynamics between Bill and Addie. How they go from meeting to mating had a genuine feel to it. Billy is so sweet but still strong. Gotta love a sensitive man! Addie I really liked her character as well. Her silent strength yet still having a vulnerable insecure side. And that HEA!
The story is about Billy and Addie but got say, I loved seeing how the original Salvation pack has grown and what has become of them. It’s always nice to visit with old favorites…and discover new favorites! Can’t wait to read the next book.
Stars: 4
I received this book from Netgalley. I was not compensated for the book other than the entertainment it provided. All thoughts and opinions are my own.
Pack

This is the first book in the Salvation Pack: The Next Generation, a spin-off from Salvation Pack. I haven’t read any of those but didn’t find it necessary to get the enjoyment from this one. Billy, although human to begin with, is the stronger of the two main characters, owing to his upbringing as part of a healthy Pack. Although a wolf, Addie is the one with the internal monologue as she worries about everything. The rest of the characters were written in the way you would expect from their designation as ‘good’ or ‘bad’. I would like to know more about Ryan, the alpha of Addie’s Pack, as he didn’t seem a bad sort, just not interested in any dealings with Salvation.
This was a smooth, well-paced story that didn’t hold any surprises but was a thoroughly enjoyable read that kept my interest from beginning to end. There is some steam, but it is all part of the story and doesn’t take the front seat in every situation.
A great paranormal read that I have no hesitation in recommending.

One of my new favorite books. I'd read more from this author.
Addie Fuller thought she was headed for a run in the woods with friends, but it turns into a trap. Billy Gallagher comes to her aide. The only problem is, that he's human and they are not. When Billy is hurt, Addie does everything she can to take care of him.
Billy knows all about werewolves. He is part of a local pack that accepts humans into their pack, but can he save Addie from being forced to mate with someone she doesn't want?
Usually, when you read these types of stories it is all about the strong human women who follow the alpha shifter males. I loved that this story starts with an alpha human who is trying to help a female shifter.

What a great read! When Billy is out on a hike, he runs into a situation that he’s really not prepared for, but being the man he is has to intervene. Addie is running, when she is caught it’s either fight or be mated, nail a tall good looking stranger steps in. One problem he’s human.
I received a complimentary copy of this book from NetGalley. The opinions expressed in this review are completely my own

Written by N. J. Walter, this novel follows Billy and Addie two strangers who meet in a wood, while two werewolves are hunting Addie because one wants to force a mate bond on her.
This is not for children and is definitely a werewolf romance novel.
Now, THIS is a werewolf romance that hits just right and is actually kinda sweet.
Billy grew up as a human in a werewolf pack, so when he stumbles into a bad situation between Addie and a wolf trying to force her to mate he knows how dangerous this situation is. He could die, pretty easily, and he chooses to stay to try what he can to protect her. Addie, in turn, stays to try to nurse him back to health. Little did either of them expect the results that they got.
I’m not saying this is the best werewolf romance ever, but this is a very solid choice that does a fantastic job of rejecting/indirectly calling out the not-great aspects of a lot of books in this genre (forced things). Not that those things are terrible to read for everyone – people like escapism and to read things like that – but for those who don’t this book doesn’t have that and Billy is such a caring individual. So are all the other wolves in his pack, which are from a previous, related series by N. J. Walter.
What we get of the supporting cast gives us some well-rounded characters, but you really don’t see them much. This is about Billy, Addie, and the antagonist Simon. On one hand, I want more of these characters, on the other, I think each couple gets its own novel so we can scratch that itch very, very easily.
If you love werewolves and are okay with a few steamy scenes, definitely recommend giving this one a shot!
I did receive a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.

This was a great story! It was a quick read but there was definitely enough depth to the story that didn’t feel like I was missing anything. I enjoyed the characters, yes it was a bit of quick love but it’s a short read so it’s expected. Author could definitely have taken this on with a couple hundred more pages, I enjoyed the writing style and the subtle twists to make it just a bit different then the normal shapeshifter story.

I loved this twist on the werewolf trope. I liked meeting the packs and seeing the diversity in the group. Loved the Salvation pack of course! Addie and BIlly are destined to be. Looking forward to getting to know this pack better in future books!

i love any paranormal/romance book. this is a face pace book between addie & billie. there is tension romance and action in this book. the two of the characters were able to bond while trying to protect each other. i enjoy the relationship between the characters. this book has shifter politics in there, so it will show you what it's like in a pack. overall a good read. i received this arc from NG and this is my voluntary review.

DNF at 25%, could not get into the story or characters.
*Thank you to the publisher for this eARC.

Addie is on the run when an unmated male from her pack tries to force mate her. She is protected by Billy, a human whose mother mated a wolf. Addie helps save Billy after he is bitten and almost dies. They discover that they are bonded but have stuff to work out before they can mate which includes dealing with the male who tried to force Addie to be his mate. This was such a great story and I will have to go back and read about the Salvation Pack as this is the first I have read. There is tons of action, great chemistry between the characters and some great sexy times. Highly recommend.

Billy is one of two human members of a werewolf pack. He's at a crossroads in his life - trying to figure out where to go next. He's camping in the woods trying to find some space to figure things out when he hears a threat to a female werewolf. He steps in to help her and is attacked himself. In this universe - werewolf bites are usually fatal to humans - but not always. In Billy's pack - people have survived before and been changed into werewolves themselves.
I liked so much about this book and this universe. Billy and his family and extended family of the pack are lovely to see. I also like that although the romantic arc proceeds at a very fast pace - it still felt authentic and worked in the context of the story.
I had not read any of the other books in this series before this one - but I was able to follow things and understand the group. I think I would have been wayyyyy more invested in Billy's story if I had read the other books - but this still worked for me!
I received this via NetGalley as an ARC, but these opinions are all my own.

This is a very fast paced book I couldn’t put down. The sheer intensity of this story is fantastic. Loved every page, can’t wait to read the next installments. I highly recommend the Salvation Pack: The Next Generation books.

This story is full of heart and love. Yes the conflict is there from the start but it's seamlessly woven into a pack.full of love. I admit to a smile or two.with the "ticklish" scene. Even though it was steam time it just was a perfect moment. The ending was perfect too.

Great read!
Addie and Billy have a fast paced story full of emotion, action and drama. I loved the way they met and how they overcame their obstacles.
I voluntarily read an advanced copy.
