Thank you NetGalley for the eARC. I really liked this one. I will be waiting for more and judging by the amount of characters in this one, Im thinking i wont have to wait long

A big thank you to NetGalley and Evernight Publishing for the eARC. I am voluntarily reviewing this book. This is the first in a series, but it doesn't read this way. There is a lot of backstory missing in my opinion. Ashlyn comes across Nathan (Joker) after a bad motorcycle accident. She essentially saves his life. I liked their chemistry, but I am not sure I understood everything. I am not a big motorcycle club reader. 3 stars

Ash and Joker's love story. Full of intrigue, slow building love and parents with history. Through in some club drama and we have a winner. First book in the series, and hope the remainder are just as good.

This book was the first book that I have read by these authors. The characters were good and so was the plot. Lots of twists and turns plus action and romance. The story was beautifully written, the characters are all so realistically written and the sprinkling of humor was the icing on the cake. The authors did an amazing job and I’m already impatient for the next book in the series.

Broken Wings is an intriguing story with some added heat between the pages. Overall I liked the characters and enjoyed reading their romance.

*I received a copy via Net-Galley in exchange for an honest review*
Broken Wings has a nice writing style and it's easy to read. I don't think there is anything terribly wrong with this book but it felt pretty basic and not anything super memorable. Joker and Ashlyns relationship was lacking some spark for me. At the beginning I really enjoyed them together but it seemed to sizzle out in the middle.
I don't want to spoil anything in the story either so I will just say there were a few things in the plot I didn't think needed to be there. It started to feel pretty long after certain events.
Overall it was a decent read and I would check out more by these authors in the future!

I really left ked this romance, it was dark and gritty yet the love story between the main characters was full of tenderness and passion.

I was glued to the pages, put through the ringer of emotion, and SO FREAKING INVESTED. These characters and their story will own you, let yourself go and enjoy the ride.

What I loved: the plot had good potential, it was interesting enough that I really wanted to finish it. What I didn't love: the writing did not flow well and it was hard to follow.

Broken Wings by Allegra Grey & Emily Stone is book one in the Storm Crows MC series. The book focuses on the characters Ashlyn and Joker. Ashlyn comes across Joker one night at the site of a terrible accident in which Joker is hurt. She decides to stay with him to give him comfort which in turn allows her to step into a world which is definitely out of her comfort zone but opens up a whole new world of possibilities.
Joker is dangerous, being the VP of the Storm Crows he lives a hard life which is very different from Ashlyn’s, but there is something about his rescuer that calls to him, even if he is stubborn to begin with on his feelings for her. The dynamic with these two characters was great as they both come from different worlds but have a great connection, Ashlyn with her fragility and vulnerability but an inner strength and Joker with his harshness but unshakeable belief in Ashlyn. Together, they make a great couple!
Overall, this was a really good story into a new series, with twist and turns, some drama and some steam! A great addition to the MC genre.
ARC received for a fair, honest and sometimes long review. All opinions are my own. 😊

Broken wings by Allegra Grey and Emily Sloan.
Storm Crows MC Book 1.
A dark country road leads newly-graduated Ashlyn Davis to the site of a terrible accident and the side of a dying man. Braving a storm and her total lack of internet or emergency training, she stays with him until help arrives. Under the blood and broken bones, her rescue is hot as hell—and twice as forbidden. As the Vice President of the Storm Crows MC, Joker is danger personified, but Ash forges a friendship with him and finds the steadiness she desperately needs in the unlikeliest of places.
A really good read with good characters. Looking forward to the next book. 4*.

Wow, this book was unexpectedly great. New authors for me and whilst a trope I like (who doesn’t love a bad boy MC!) you never know how these things will go.
Well it went…
Emotional and dynamic, this book takes you in rather a rollercoaster journey. A lot of world building and introductions to supporting characters goes on but still the core of the book, being Joker and Ash and their relationship.
I loved Joker, wow when he fell it was epic. His feelings and how comfortable he became with him (after the standard denial of course..) were so beautiful to read, he was Ash’s biggest champion, even when she wasn’t her own. He just saw right into the heart of her .
Ash was a contradiction walking really. Actually super strong, she was emotionally fragile but knew what she wanted, even when she didn’t seem to deserve it.
There were parts of this story that didn’t always make sense, introduced elements that were odd and conversations that I had to re-read a couple do times to grasp who was actually saying what, but despite this I actually really enjoyed this book.
Looking forward to the next instalment
