How credit scores work is such a mystery, and it took me a lot of reading to figure out how to repair and improve my credit. Still, a lot doesn’t make sense (like paying off an auto loan decreases your credit). So, I decided to check out this book from Amber Rose. When I got it, I was shocked at how short it was. It’s only 70 pages, but it’s a decent book. Fortunately, I got a free review copy, but as I look on Amazon, it’s $9.99 on Kindle and $11.99 for paperback, and I don’t know if that price is justified.

Rose set this book up in a Q&A format. She lists a common question about credit and writes very briefly on it. Did I learn a few things? Kind of. Do I think it’s beneficial for someone who knows nothing about credit? Yes, but I don’t think I’d recommend it for the price. You can get many other books for the same price that not only cover credit and answer the same questions, but they also teach you much more about saving, investing, and more.
