I thought enough information about them was provided and made it easy to understand the story and what was going on. I’m a sucker for second chance romance, and throw in a little spice, made for a very enjoyable book.

I've been sitting on this review for a while.  To be honest, its because this is the first Elle Kennedy book that I haven't thoroughly enjoyed.  Genevieve and Evan probably would have been ok separately, but I couldn't see how the two of them and their toxic tendency were ever going to make sense in the long run.  Genevieve constantly struggled with who she was now versus who she had been before she left town.  Evan didn't seem to appreciate or really want to understand why Genevieve didn't want to pick up where they left off.  Many times I found myself irritated that he wasn't listening to her.  Add to the fact that his brother seemed to blame her for everything that ever went wrong for Evan and it ended up being the perfect storm of what I didn't like.

I loved this book so much! Her writing is always spot on and this was no different! Such a great story and strong characters

“Bad Girl Reputation” by Elle Kennedy was an easy read with likable characters. This is the second book in the Avalon Bay series but I wasn’t blow away. I would give this book three stars as it was a quick fun read.

I’ve read a lot of Elle Kennedys books but this one fell a little flat. It’s not necessarily a bad book it’s just that I wanted to get something different from Elle Kennedy. This book felt exactly like her other books which is honestly a little disappointing.

The chemistry and communication in this book were pretty decent and Genevieve and Evan were entertains characters.

I will always pickup a small town romance and Bad Girl Reputation is one of them. We love to see a character come home from her big life and get back into the roots of her small town ways. Elle Kennedy gives us a mall town feel but does not spare us on all the messy ex love passion that this book is.

Genevieve has to come home for some sad events and of course her ex-love (Evan) still lives in their home town. Avoidance is impossible and if you are from a small town you understand the feeling. Genevieve does her best to avoid him at all costs and keep her head down as she helps her dad in their local shop. She is trying to get out as fast as she can but Evan has other ideas. He may have been a bad boy when she met him but now he wants to try the good guy life style.

This book was wonderful and exactly what I needed to get back into reading this new year.

I love Elle Kennedy and I loved this book! She just does no wrong when it comes to a romance, and I gobbled this one up.

This was a "meh" for me. I enjoyed book #1 a lot more. The back and forth between Gen and Evan was too much for me in this one. I needed a little more thrown into the arguing and back and forth and explosive relationship they have.
I did like the "bad" side to this - both Gen and Evan trying to grow up and make themselves better people.

Would I read book #3? Yup!

This is a second chance love story that is cute charming and laugh out loud funny. There is a first book to the series but you can read this without any issues. Glad I read this cute book

I’ll start with saying I love Elle Kennedy so this was already gonna be good and it did not disappoint, there was so much chemistry between the characters and I always root for an on again off again romance!

Great Rom-Com novel by Elle Kennedy! So many lovable characters. I did not read the first book but it didn't take away from this experience. This book is a second chance love story that is heartwarming and will have you laughing!

This is the second book in the Avalon bay series. Elle has crafted a second chance romance between Genevieve and Evan when she has to come back into town and help her father’s business definitely going to grab a copy for myself, and to share with a friend.

I will always read Elle Kennedy's books and this book just proved to be the more of the greatness. A sequel to the good girl complex, when we follow the relationship journey of Evan and his high school best friend/girlfriend and their on again/off again relationship.

Their chemistry is combustible and that attraction is always there but they are poison to each other and Genevieve is set on ending their ties because she wants to take ownership of her life as a grown up.

So Evan is determined to be a part of that change because he can't fathom his future without her even though she skipped town on him for a whole year with no communication.

But when they each start to work on self development, will they grow apart?

HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

After reading and loving Good Girl Complex I was super excited to read Bad Girl Reputation. Sadly I didn’t end up loving this as much as I’d hoped. Not only are Evan and Genevieve extremely unlikeable, (more so Evan) it was incredibly hard to route for their romance. Gen seems to really want to change her former party girl image but Evan is hell bent on her staying the same. Gen in her quest to stay clear of Evan starts taking to another guy which results in her essentially stringing both guys along. Everything about both of the main characters just screamed toxic and I honestly wanted them both to stay separate and heal. It was hard for me to get on board with the romance therefore, I couldn’t enjoy this book like I wanted to.

Genevieve West has returned to Avalon Bay to put her mother to rest. She’s hoping to avoid her ex-boyfriend, Evan Hartley, at all costs. They have a troublesome history full of passion and problems. Gen has made up her mind to focus on helping her father with his business and then get back out of town quickly. Evan has different plans. He plans to woo Gen and show her how good they can be together.
I enjoyed this second book in this series as much as the first book. The tension between Gen and Evan was palpable. They are both trying to turn over a new leaf and grow up. Each deserve to be happy and shed the labels of their past. A great story of second chances and starting over!

I enjoyed Good Girl Complex enough to pick up the second book. Yes, it took forever to read it (well after pub date, oops) but I wanted to give it a chance.

Umm, this one wasn't on par with the first. The writing was choppy, a tad confusing (maybe because I stopped paying attention) and I cannot stand miscommunication. Like, that's my least favorite thing of all time. And this was holding onto that like the whole plot depended on it.

Overall, I will still give this author a chance but maybe not this series if there's a third one.

This book just felt heavy to me. I don't know if it was because it starts off at her mom's funeral or just the plot itself, but this wasn't for me. I tried to like the characters but they came off as caricatures.

This was an enjoyable read. Although I liked the first one better, this still had a good plot and I enjoyed reading about the characters.

I loved Gen and Evans story and watching these childhood sweethearts find each other again! Thank you for the early release. It’s definitely a book I will be purchasing for my bookshelf.

This one was fun! I loved how Kennedy wrote the history and build-up for the two main characters. I really enjoyed the banter and shenanigans. This was a quick, easy read!
