Started off as a sweet bl romance, but lost me in the second half unfortunately. Could have done without the 18+ moments in a high school romance.

Where to begin..

The book was shallow and the characters were blend and forgettable. I'm a little late to party with this review but better late than never. The graphics were very well done, so I guess there's that.

This was such a cute manga, and the relationship was adorable! I liked that the couple communicated about their problems and solved it .
I really recommend you give this a chance if you want something to read on the same day.

I loved this it was so cute the way both Yuki and Hayato liked each other but didn’t say anything and Yuki blushing at everything made me giggle I also loved that they both actually communicated their feelings and were honest with each other. I would definitely love to read more by this author

I can see why people would enjoy this manga, however I'm not a huge fan of insta-love and cliche romances, I think the art is great and I think for a lot of people they would enjoy this, I just think I'm not the target audience.

This was cuuuuuute! Loved the relationship between the characters and how they took care of each other. If you liked Heartstopper you'll probably like this one!

I’m not new to the manga medium but I haven’t read a lot of romance and slice of life, however, I do enjoy contemporary novels with LGBTQ+ representation so I decided to give this one a go… and I was pleasantly surprised but not blown away.

This was a cute high school love story. The romance evolves slowly as the characters get to know one another. I enjoyed it though some of the story was predictable.

This is pure, wholesome, slice-of-life bl joy. I love drama, misunderstandings, bad boys, enemies-to-lovers, and so on in my romances. But living in this brave new post-covid world, I have often found myself yearning for HEAs and not too much angst in the process of getting there. I live for tender interactions between people who just plain like each other. So Tomorrow, Make Me Yours was a nice ride.

Cute, but not really my cup of tea. The plot bounced around a lot and there was a weird dialogue that seemed like it was leading up to a conversation about consent, but went a totally different direction than I was expecting. The writing is like wattpad-level IMO.

This follows some of the usual BL/Yaoi Manga tropes. It is very fluffy and insta-lovey, just your typical BL manga. You can't take these books too seriously, they are just a fun read. This manga is drawn beautifully and it just adds to the cute factor.

Hayato and Yuki are High School Students, and are as different as can be. Yuki is more of a loner, and Hayato is friendly and popular. They become friends and start spending time together, but it doesn't take long for feelings to develop. They become boyfriends but not all is plain sailing. They have some miscommunication but it doesn't last long. These two are just so cute together

I received a copy of this book from Netgalley, and this is my honest review.

This book charmed me, and I enjoyed watching the budding relationship between these two characters develop, and even if it felt a bit fast paced at times, I definitely still thought this was an enjoyable read.

This is a cute boy love manga about a very shy boy who is attracting the attention of a popular boy, much to his bewilderment and discomfort. He has a crush on said popular boy, and struggles to reconcile wanting to both spend time with the boy and also remain unnoticed. As expected, it turns out the popular boy has a crush on the shy boy and the inability of teens to interpret signals and the subsequent miscommunication ensues. The artwork was fantastic.

Tomorrow, Make Me Yours, by Kaoruko Miyama
★★★☆☆
210 Pages

While this was a super cute story, at times, I felt that it was rushed. In too much of a hurry to get to...well, sex...it didn't spend as much time as it should have on building the relationship.

If this story had nixed the sex entirely, I think this could have been a really great YA manga, about how to overcome your insecurities and shyness.

Yuki is shy, quiet and moved into a new class at school, where he meets Hayato, who is everything he isn't. There's a lot of rushing towards them being in a relationship – with Hayato already knowing of Yuki before they “meet” in the story, insta-love/crush, and a one-bed situation – and it could have been fantastic if it had slowed down a little.

I think it would be easier to go through a Pros and Cons list. I'll start with the Cons, because I hate ending on a negative note.

Cons
there's no clear timeline, such as days or weeks later between events.
the relationship goes from strangers to dating in barely a chapter
they go from just starting to date, and a first kiss, to Hayato pushing for sex
there's some 18+ material that really didn't feel important. While it did lead to one or two cute moments, I still think the story would have been stronger without it.
I was a bit confused by the flashback, because it wasn't clearly marked (most manga's I read have a black page background for flashbacks)
I'm sorry to say that I hated the formatting, as the pages on the Kindle app only show as 2/3 of the page, which made some of the smaller text nearly impossible to read.

Pros
I utterly LOVED Yuki and Hayato as characters. Their personalities were strong.
I loved that neither Yuki or Hayato were perfect. Yuki had insecurities over socialising and being around strangers, while Hayato is insecure about being needed and wanted, as well as being easily jealous.
I love that their insecurities weren't solved by being together, but that they actually had to work through it together.
I love the whole aspect of one being too obvious about his feelings, while the other is completely oblivious.

Overall, I would have loved a much better explored relationship between them, with more of a build-up to the dating, and less of the 18+ material. If that had gone, there would have been more space to explore the budding romance. However, I did like the jealousy/resolution of insecurities that followed them dating. I love that the story wasn't just about them meeting and starting to date, but that it actually continued beyond that.
But, the entire thing was 210 pages of rushing towards a finish line. I never felt like it settled into place, or gave itself time to breathe. There was just too much of a rush to get to the sex and the 'I love yous' to let the story flesh out as much as it needed to be.

This was not quite what I was expected. If you're looking for sweet, kinda subtle hints at feelings, lots of blushing and awkwardness, misunderstandings, and some tropey-tropes, you are in the right place; just know you're gonna get some adult situations too. I'm not against sexy-times showing up, I just prefer to know they're coming (haha see what I did there?). Granted, I read a DRC, and haven't seen the actual book, so it might be labeled as 18+ or whatever, but if not, don't let the publisher blurb fool you.
This starts with the shy, introverted Yuki becoming friends with the outgoing, popular Hayato. It's obvious to the reader they like each other - there is much blushing (though it's not noticed because the other one is always looking away) - but for Yuki, I think part of it is him wanting to be like Hayato, to be able to so comfortable around people. It's just very sweet starting out. The author does a good job of conveying passage of time, so it doesn't feel like insta-love, and I appreciated how comfortable and friendly (by which I mean, you could tell they were friends) they were with each other. When the more *ahem* adult feelings started making themselves known, things got a bit uncomfortable; Hayato comes on strong, very horny teenage boy, and Yuki seems reluctant (first time jitters), and that plus another almost-happened incident later made me feel a little squirmy in a bad way, giving an impression of coercion more than consent, but it does get cleared up in a believable way by the end. It's a decent story, if a bit tropey, could've been better, could've been a lot worse.

This book was cute, but a little spicier than I initially suspected from the cover. I thought it was a sweet roman BL with a slow burn sort of similar to Futaribeya.

The romance and sweetness in the story was quite nice --and the spicy parts were closer to the end. They were just a bit of a surprise since the set up had made me believe that there wasn't much sexual content. The story feels like it was written to be 2 stories --one a sweet high school romance and the other a sexy romp --but they co-mingle together in a very unusual way. It's not bad exactly, but it does feel disjointed.

That said, the content present might be a little upsetting for SA survivors since the first encounter feels a little forced. It is later expressed to be mutually consensual, but the initial contact felt very rape-y on the onset.

Another work of opposites attract but they both have crushes on each other. What seems like friendship ends in screaming one's feelings for the other and talking through it and becoming a couple. Pretty decent pace.

Where do I begin with this review. First of I loved the illustrations, the art style was good. The story wasn't to bad. There were some cute parts like when the couple was in the bathtub and kissed. It gave me all the feels. At times the book came off as being clique. One of the improvements I think could be done is that the arcs could be better formatted so that is the reviewers can enjoy more and give a decent feedback.

This is a really nice debut manga for Kaoruko Miyama.
I think the pacing was just right for the miscommunication trope to work fine, and I appreciate the inclusion of steamy scenes in this coming-of-age YA manga.
