Yuki and Hayato are absolutely adorable and a couple. They very much embody the awkwardness of high school relationships and social hierarchies. There is a bit of a rush to their relationship that makes sense for horny teenage boys, as well as the ever common miscommunication found in tree stories. They very much could have avoided a lot of their issues by talking to each other, but when have teenagers ever been known to talk about their feelings, honestly. Overall, though, I thought it was a very sweet story.
A sweet story of two high schoolers who awkwardly and adorably fall in love. The art is great and the story is simple, with lovable main characters and cute side character friends too. A good read for anyone who likes a good bl story.
I enjoyed the storyline and the dynamic was adorable. The story is very bare-minimum but that's expected from what I believe to be a one-shot manga.

I would say that the art is pretty cute but overall, I felt that it was lacking when it comes to impact and the characterization which made the plot dull. Overall, I think this was pretty cute and light read.
This manga was cute if youโre looking for something set in high school with a sweet romance between the shy kid and the popular one!
The progression of their friendship was cute. It did feel like their relationship went by quickly but overall, it was a quick and easy heartwarming read!

I didn't expect to like it that much, aaaaa. The art was adorable and Yuki and Hayato's relationship was very wholesome, I love them. Normally, I don't like one-volume manga because I get bored with all the explicit scenes and everything happening so fast, but I enjoyed this one and even though it was a pretty short story, it's great as a little late night read. I will definitely buy the volume <3
A quick read filled with fluff and cuteness. If you want something to pick up and enjoy come Pride, you should take a chance on this! Though some parts were a bit cliche, the art style and flow makes up for it!
Tomorrow, Make Me Yours was admittedly my first foray into m/m manga, and this particular one wasn't something I would recommend to a friend.
Yuki is a sweet, endearing high school teen, the swooning and shy wallflower many of us can relate to. I like him fine. Hayoto, his popular love interest, is a bit problematic. Hayoto act before he thinks, and he tries to force himself on Yuki not once, but twice. The first time may have been a miscommunication, but the second time? Hayoto straight-up assaults Yuki in the high school library stacks because he's jealous that Yuki is making friends with other high school boys when he's *his* boyfriend.
Hayoto apologizes and "all is well" by the end, but his need to claim Yuki is pretty gross, if you ask me. I guess you can chalk Yuki's quick forgiveness up to misguided youth? He does seem perfectly okay with being claimed or whatever ...
The art in Tomorrow, Make Me Your was beautiful and captured the emotions between Y and H perfectly. Fair warning, though, it does get very NSFW.
The tropes in this romance manga might work for some folks, but I'm largely not one of them.

I'm not new to the category of BL and because of this, I found this story to be a little bit boring. It was predictable. Cute, but predictable.
It was very cute, quick read. A little toothachingly cute. Wished i could see more of character development from them. But cute nontheless.

This was a very simple low angst BL manga, but in the end it was a pretty forgettable read for me. TokyoPop tends to be fairly hit or miss for me, so Iโm not super surprised that this ended up being a average read. I really liked the very beginning when Yuki and Hayato were sorting out their feeling and acting bashful around each other. I liked how timid and shy Yuki was, but how quickly he came out of his shell with Hayato. But after about 30% in it felt like everything happened way too quickly, so thatโs pretty much when I just stopped caring. This story also had a lot of things I tend to dislike in BL, including: miscommunication trope, jealousy, two dimensional secondary characters, and major instalove. I really enjoyed the art style and thought the story was initially really promising, so Iโm bummed this didnโt work for me in the end.
The book is full of cliche . I have read many manga and this feels like It's repetition of thousands story. Very blank. No plot and no chemistry between the characters. There were no personality in character. There were just exsist to love nothing more . I didn't feel anything while reading it. If you want to read something basic it's for you
โ thank you to Netgalley and TOKYOPOP for providing an e-arc in exchange for an honest review.โ
this was super cute and fluffy! i love the jealousy here and how it wasn't as toxic as other manga. also popular dude attracted to shy boy first? aaaa ๐ฅฐ
the artwork was so pretty too. this is good to read if you want something soft, short and nice.
It was a nice reading, not my favorite manga because I feel the characters weren't really well-rounded and the story was a little basic, but the rhythm was good.
It reminded me a little of a Japanese Heartstopper, so if you liked Alice Oseman's story maybe you will like this one!
Really loved this! The boys are awesome! Definitely some spice to this but I loved it. I was addicted by the first chapter. I can't wait for more!
I've been reading Yaoi manga for well over 10 years now, and when I first started I could only dream about titles like this one.
This reads almost nostagically to me, with all the wonder I possesed when I first stumbled into the genre and couldn't go to bed before binging a new story every night. But it's new in that it fits into this novel wave of Yaoi where it's fresh and sweet, and less problematic.
These two stumble and misunderstand (like we want them to) but they also talk, and consent, and just genuinely want to be together.
I can't wait for more from this author, and hopefully this won't be my last time with these cuties.
A nice romance with traditional tropes (sweet shy guy/popular sporty guy) and art in the general shonen ai mode. Some of the male side characters come into play later in the story to make sporty guy jealous. All in all, a snuggly warm read for people who want a nice school romance with a side of pretty. There is some semi-explicit sex, so readers will want to take that into consideration.
Not a fan of the instant love that gets here and also the jealous scene was unnecessary and a red flag in their relationship. Besides that, i think it's cute that the shy and popular kid ended up falling for each other and the miscommunication is part of their personality overthinking their first relationship and the consent was important when he said stop we would stop of course with miscommunication but besides the library scene it stoped /
i would give a 3.5
Thank you Netgalley and the publisher for an ARC of this manga.
Let's start with the good things...
The art was good, Yuki especially was really well drawn and I loved his character design.
And honestly, that's about it for the good things.
The list of things that I did not like is much longer sadly enough.
First of all, the non consensual touching. Like really, do BL mangas gotta add that in every single time? I thought this one would be different because of some things the other main character Hayato said, but he quickly changed his opinion of "respecting Yuki's boundaries and taking things slow". Man got jealous once and attacked him in the middle of the school library.
Another thing I also didn't like was the spicy scenes... Like both of these kids are under 18, so literal kids, and you expect me to be comfortable reading spicy scenes with them?
Anyway I can mention some other things but I got no energy to do it, so I'm just gonna close off with this. It was, apart from a bit problematic, also just boring and forgettable. Like Yuki as a character is cute, but he barely has any personality. Same goes for everyone else that was mentioned. As for how forgettable it was... I took a two day long pause from reading it while I was almost halfway through and in those two days I managed to forget everything about it. Which is very unusual for me. So yeah, like I said, forgettable.
I wish I had liked this because the art is really cute, but alas.

I am honestly gobsmacked that this is a book. It's basically a how-to on relationship red flags. There is insta love, then Hayato pushing Yuki's boundaries and Yuki FEELING BAD ABOUT IT. Then Hayato basically assaults Yuki in a public library and admits he did it because he was JEALOUS OF HIM HAVING FRIENDS. JEALOUS OF HIM HAVING FRIENDS?! I'm sorry, I was so excited for a queer manga but this is not it. I honestly think this should have had a trigger warning, I would have skipped if I'd known what this was going to be like.
