Tomorrow, Make Me Yours is definitely a cute BL read with fluff romance. To some extent, the friends to lovers trope was enjoyable and it made me feel warm and fuzzy . Also, I appreciated the fact that it wasn't centered around Yuki's coming out or had confusion about his sexuality kind of motif. However, the storyline felt too rushed and crammed that it didn't provide a solid, gradual buildup.
It was a cute, fluffy, one-shot BL. In a way I wish there were more,I feel like most on-shots are like that for me, but I still enjoyed it. Yuki's character is adorable and how he is drawn definitely stands out compared to the other characters.
The main characters are complete opposites of each other but become friends- Yuki is shy while Hayato is outgoing. They start out as friends but, like most BL, one tries to protect their friendship when they notice they like them more than just a friend. However, they discover the feeling is mutual. They do encounter a misunderstanding but it is resolved by the end.
-fast paced
-a few spicy scenes
This was cute! I like sweet contemporary stories like this one and especially love finding LGBT titles that fit the bill. I work at a pretty small indie bookstore and we have been considering carrying more manga titles, particularly first volumes and/or single volumes like this one. I loved the art style in this one-- my one drawback is that the intimacy scene felt very sudden and forced. I feel like this story in particular would have fared better without it as it felt out of character/like it was thrown in just because it is BL/Yaoi and some people come to expect that. Either way I enjoyed it!
Not a huge fan on insta love but loved the fluffy aspect to this book! I would rate this a 2.5 star!
As I continue my HUGE learning curve when it comes to Manga, this was just the fluffy tonic to the dark days surrounding us right now. A very sweet read
This was such a fluffy read! At first it felt a little like insta love but there's a bit more to their story. Both guys are adorable in their interactions. Whatever miscommunication happens is resolved without much drama. Such a good feel good read with a bit of spice .
This story needed a little more development in the relationship department about why these two boys like each other. And then the miscommunication needed to be handled better. Manga like this honestly always have iffy sex scenes, and I just didn't understand why Hayato didn't let him take the shower? I don't know, I just feel like things can be handled better. Overall, these two were cute, and I liked their mutual pining.
A cute and steamy BL manga set in high school. Many of the typical BL tropes are here, but everything was done well and I enjoyed my time with these characters. The conflict was believable and wasn’t drawn out too long. I liked the honest communication between the characters. I think if you are a fan of BL manga, Yaoi, or m/m romance you will enjoy this title.
This started so sweet and from the title, I knew it was a stand-alone, so I knew the story would process fast. But I didn't expect it to get so graphic. I think I might have missed something in the labeling but I didn't realize it was 18+. But that is my fault ~~~
It was cute story-wise to see them interacting together and it raised topics such as boundaries and respect for others' bodies. In a way that didn't exploit it.
The art was cute and drew me in. Overall a cute standalone.
I don't know what else to say but that this was sooooooo adorable and cute.
I love a pure first love story but I wish there was more cause I just loved it so much! Very easy to read and is so good I didn't want to put it down even though I needed to sleep.
I can't wait to see more from this author!
A story which initially seems to focus on setting boundaries and taking it slow ends up rather quickly in a wholly different angle
Even though you’re not some object to claim
I liked the art style of Tomorrow, Make Me Yours but lack characterisation, Yuki just cringes constantly and Hayato apologizes all the time. In general I can say little about their characters, with Yuki at least having shy as a trait, but Hayato being very lightly sketched in terms of who he is supposed to be.
The story is rather standard high school love, but with an initially wholesome angle of taking it slow being fine. Interesting messaging that the pushing of oneself onto another ends up in a few pages in full on anal. Not the best in the genre, but at least it acknowledges the importance of talking and investing in a relationship so rounded up by grace of the art style of Kaoruko Miyama
It's a good gay romance though not my favorite. I would have liked it all drawn out a bit more, make us care for the characters a little before you put them in a relationship.
But it's still cute and worth a read.
Thank you to NetGalley and TokyoPop for an eARC in exchange for an honest review.
So I really enjoyed Tomorrow, Make Me Yours. The characters were both likable and cute. Hayato is the confident, cool classmate who befriends Yuki, the introvert. They start building their friendship by hanging out and eating lunch together. When Yuki realizes that a classmate has a crush on Hayato, he tries to step back to give the girl a chance. While doing this he realizes that he has feelings for Hayato. When Hayato confronts him about why he's avoiding him, Yuki confesses, at which point Hayato confesses to Yuki as well.
I really like this pairing because both boys communicate way better than normal BL pairs. I do wish that Hayato could have express his feeling a bit better when they were in Yuki's house instead of just running off. I can see how some readers could interpret that as him "running away" instead of needing space/time to cool off. I have to highlight that these are teenagers. Emotional maturity/eloquence isn't something normal teenagers have mastered at this age so in this regard the portrayal of the characters was accurate.
I got to say that I really liked Hayato's character, he apologizes when he messes up and he never shifts blame. By the same token, Yuki is also an awesome character. His character growth alone brings me so much happiness because being able to efficiently communicate with your partner/SO is essential in healthy relationships and being an introvert, communication can be hard.
Even though it's a one-shot and a bit on the short side, I still feel like the relationship was well portrayed. I kinda wish more BL couple were like these two, showing good communication skills, and understanding consent. It's rare to find a story where I can describe the couple as having a healthy relationship but it looks like this title is one of those. I kind of wish the story were a bit longer though.

I never expect these mangas to have graphic scenes, but somehow they always do. It started out cute enough, although extremely fast paced. The "drama" was just kind of annoying, but I do appreciate that they talked about their feelings properly, and one person apologized properly for breaking the other persons boundaries. As he damn well should. There are too many of these BL mangas where boundaries are broken, a "no" is not respected, etc. And frankly that makes me angry. Don't romanticize assault. But this manga did not do that, so props I guess.
Big thank you to netgalley and TOKYOPOP for letting me read an early ARC of this! I was really excited to see this as available to request and thought it would be a fun + cute read but it ended up not really being what I expected it to be? The pacing of the story/relationship between the two mc’s was super fast and had a lot of holes, especially once they were in a relationship there were a few things that gave off a bit of weird vibes. The unnecessary (and even random) use of jealousy that results in one of them basically pushing the other into a situation that’s clearly uncomfortable for them (multiple times) definitely threw me off while reading.
Aside from all the things that did unfortunately make me not the biggest fan, the art style was soooo nice and i’m always a sucker for a good art style in manga!
A sweet and swoony love story between shy introvert Yuki and sunshine extrovert Hayato!
Thank you NetGalley and TokyoPop for the ARC!
Tomorrow, Make Me Yours is a story about the blossoming friendship between Yuki, a shy and quiet high schooler, and Hayato, the popular and cool guy from class.

This a story was just the sweetest! I mean, who doesn’t love a wallflower story!! I can definitely relate. I’d really like to say that this story is wholesome but that would be a lie. This definitely has some spice to it, considering we have active high school boys here. But still, it is just the cutest. I love it so much, the fujoshi in me is super satisfied and content. I really enjoyed it!
If you’re a fan of Dekoboko Sugar Days and sweet BL manga, this is definitely a manga i highly recommend.
Thank you so much to TokyoPop and NetGalley for giving me a free copy in exchange of an honest review.
Tomorrow, make me yours is a super cute high school "coming of age" BL that is by far one of the most positive of it's kind. There is sometimes a lot of unhealthy tropes in this genre, and while this manga does have some jealousy and possessiveness, to me it isn't portrayed in an unhealthy way.
The story is very fast paced and "insta-love" which makes for a quick read, but that didn't take away from my enjoyment. There are some elements of misunderstanding, but they're quickly resolved when the characters communicate. A lack of communication wasn't dragged on like it can be in other mangas, which i personally liked as too much miscommunication is frustrating.
I liked that it was never mentioned that the two characters were both boys. They didn't care about gender or have any underlying "gay panic", it was just normal for them and they aren't ashamed of their relationship, even though they don't overly advertise it. There is some spice along with so much fluffy cuteness, which gives for a realistic romance. You can see that the characters really care for each other. A favourite scene of mine was their first kiss, it was done so beautifully and i found myself grinning so hard as i read it!
The only reason i'm not giving this a 5 star is because I wish we could have delved a bit more into the characters personalities and backgrounds. I feel we learnt a bit more about Yuki than Hayato, but then again this was a short story so that is to be expected.
Overall this was a quick, fluffy story which. beautiful art, delightful characters and a heartwarming relationship.

Tomorrow, Make Me Yours follows Yuki, a shy, average boy who changes class and falls completely for Hayato, the cool, confident kid who notices him right away and seems to want to be friends. When Yuki hears a girl in their class like Hayato, he realizes his own feelings and steps back, but is brought back in when Hayato returns his confession.
This book was very okay. The art style, relationship, dynamics, story, main characters, side characters, setting, and I could really keep going on were nothing special. This didn't hit like other amazing TokyoPop titles I've read and I think it boils down to the fact that everything happens very quickly. There's not much room to breathe and feel the emotional weight of the events in the book, which leaves for a flat reading experience.
If you're a fan of fumbling high school romances with the shy x confident pairing, you may enjoy this title more than I did!
3.5 stars rounded up to 4
A yaoi (boy's love) manga story about a shy boy and his popular classmate. When he is spoken to by the popular and confident Hayato, introverted Yuki is surprised and hopes to maintain this friendship. It soon turns into more and he feels like he has to back away before destroying their friendship with his emotions.
This is an 18+ manga so please only read accordingly (!)
This is a sweet little love story, full of small misunderstandings (which I normally don't like as a trope but I think worked quite well in this story) and strong mutual feelings which I really enjoy. It is short and a quick read. I will warn that in some parts one of the characters is a bit possessive/jealous, which wasn't my favourite trope, but that got resolved fairly quickly. If you're not a fan of insta-love or 'relationship moves really quickly' this may not be your favourite, but overall it was decent. The plot was nothing fully original but the art was pretty good and the characters did seem to care about each other.
Also a good point - never once was the fact they were both guys mentioned as a plot point - their relationship was as natural as any other, and I think that also left me with a good impression.
I received an complimentary ARC of this from 'TOKYOPOP, LOVE x LOVE' via NetGalley in exchange for an voluntary honest review.
