I love that this story feels more realistic than many school stories and avoids a lot of unhealthy tropes present in yaoi. It's not perfect (jealousy and possessiveness make an appearance), but it's a refreshing change from the heavily problematic stories I find so frequently. There's no pressuring "straight" people into gay relationships - both characters are gay and they're comfortable with it. The anxiety before confessing comes from their lack of knowledge around the other's sexuality and not from shame or condemnation of their feelings. There's no sneaking around - while they may not be openly gay, they're not ashamed of their relationship and don't devote time to hiding it. I feel like it says something about the genre that I'm recommending a book based on what's NOT in it. :/
What IS in this book is really beautiful art and a sweet story! Yes, the characters have some struggles with communication. But even while they're scared to face each other, they're able to recognize that they just need to talk. The story did feel like it covered a lot of ground very quickly, probably due to its being only a one volume story.
It's short and sweet and the art is a delight.

This is a sweet, but formulaic BL. Two classmates falling for one another? Check! One being shy and the other being outgoing? Check! Needlessly mixed signals before a good end? Check! (Also, heads up for some adult content in the last few chapters!.) If you're looking for a nice, if familiar read for the genre, this might work for you!

**First things first I want to thank NetGalley for the eARC in exchange for my honest opinion”

The story is really fluffy and it was supposed to be just 2 cuties and that it was. I read it immediately this morning after getting approved. I had my first day of classes for this semester and was really nervous to meet new people and this was a good calm down beforehand. They get together early on in the story and I feel like this is a really calm, fast and fluffy story which leaves you with a comfy feeling after reading it. If I see it around a bookstore I'll definitely buy the physical copy. If you like fluffy and calming yaoi, like I do, I recommend reading this. It's hard to give a more indepth review of this title because I feel this story is just so light that I have not a lot to say about it but in a positive way. What's cute is that the seme is in love with the uke for quite a few years by then but they're not childhood friends. Wanted to mention that because I see this trope really seldomly except if they know each other for years.

I want to express my deep gratitude to NetGalley and TOKYOPOP for providing me with an e-copy of "Tomorrow, Make Me Yours."

I would give this BL manga 3.4 stars. I could feel the butterflies in my belly as I read the story. However, it is too fast-paced. The characters are cutely illustrated, and I really admire the work in the characters' emotions in each part. Based on my personal perspective, I'd say that Yuki and Hayato are relatable.

As this is a quick read, I am satisfied with its ending and all of my questions were answered. So, if you are looking for something light and a little bit of realistic manga, give this one a try.

This manga was a very cute one shot romance. It follows the usual structure of an outgoing character with a more shy one who fall for each other, have conflict of 'are we just friends' and then other little things mixed in to make it a nice little read.

Some of the other reviews were asking for more character background or info on other characters but one shots very rarely go that far with side characters so this one is no different. If it had more volumes there would of course be more details to everyone introduced but the main points of this were- boy meets boys, fall in love, some kind of fight, make up, the end.

It followed the formula just find and the couple was cute :)

Very cute queer romance! Definitely depicts an explicit sex scene though so definitely not recommended for a youth manga collection.

I enjoyed this book. I found the characters and romance enjoyable and straightforward.

Yuki and Hayato were an adorable couple. Their miscommunication made me want to strangle them, but it was normal miscommunication for their first relationship.

Overall, I enjoyed the story and found it cute.

TW: nudity, sexual content

Thank you NetGalley and publishers for this ARC.

This was a really cute and quick read. The characters were super adorable, especially Yuki. I also loved the dynamic of the two main characters with one being very introverted and the other being the social one, it was just very endearing. The story itself was quite simple, and the only thing that bothered me a little was that things felt a little rushed and some questions were left open. So if you’re looking for a cute and quick read, I’d recommend this manga.

Hayato and, especially, Yuki were adorable. Both sweet and earnest with the usual mixture of the shy one and the social one. It was a good balance of being open with one's feelings while also playing into the pressures of expectations and what assumptions people might make.

I will say that it felt a little rushed - I would have liked to see either another volume or at least another chapter to cover how they interact with their friends (do they come out? What about the girl with the crush on Hayato? Does Yuki actually get close to the other boys or is the friendship a performance / dependent on Hayato?)

Overall though an enjoyable and sweet story of love between two high school boys.

I got an arc from NetGalley, thank you so much TokyoPop for this opportunity.

The story follows shy Yuki on his first day in his new classroom. Hayato is the popular boy in class, who tries to get to know Yuki. The boys quickly become friends, as they get closer Yuki realizes he has feelings for Hayato. He tries to push him away, but Hayato wants them to get closer. When Hayato confronts him, Yuki confesses his feelings for Hayato and to Yuki’s surprise Hayato has feelings for him too.

This manga was so cute and had me rooting for them the whole time. Yuki is appears to be very innocent and Hayato wants to make him happy and feel safe. It was a quick read for me that I very much enjoyed a lot. Would love to read more.

First, my gratitude to TOKYOPOP and Netgalley for providing me with an advanced reading copy of this series in exchange for an honest review.

The first half of the story is really promising. I thought it was going to be wholesome boys' love but I was wrong.

It was spicy in the end. The build-up of the tension after Hayato walked out that night is not that appetizing. I'd say that it's basic yaoi through and through, and I'm not moved by this one. It's forgettable—except for Yuki's beauty mark which reminds me, in turn, of another series (Sasaki to Miyano, if ever you're familiar. I love that one!!). So, yea. I guess jealous Hayato is just really not that charming to me. I somewhat felt more pissed than adoration. Especially, after he pushed himself on Yuki. Boy, that one's wrong. And to think that even Yuki is blaming himself. Boy, that specific part is just a "no" for me.

Art: Super cute! This seems to be the first manga release of this author and I love it. I really hope to see more art by them in the future as it's not only cute and wholesome but the feelings also get across through the facial expressions.

Cute story, but everything went a little fast. The art is stunning tho.

I would’ve loved for their relationship to be more developed tbh.. or the story in general, cause I was so confused by the pacing

I enjoyed this book but I felt it was very rushed once the two boys got together. It was still a very sweet story and the art is very cute, but I think it needed to be a little longer.

I wanted to like "Tomorrow, Make Me Yours". I really did. But unfortunately, this manga fell a bit flat for me. The main characters were the stereotype of "The shy boy likes the popular boy". Which is fine, it's a common and popular trope. But you know almost nothing about the characters, so there's no real way to connect with them. You know Yuki is a quiet and awkward boy, who lives with a father who is away on business the majority of the time. You know Hayato is popular and charismatic, and the eldest brother in a large family. But...that's about it. The plot itself is rather thin, not much goes on. The one thing that mildly annoyed me is that the majority of the plot moves only due to misunderstandings between the two main leads. There are quite a few miscommunications between both of them, either due to one making an assumption about the other, or one of them misinterpreting the other one's response. The romance did move just a bit too quickly for me. I know most BL's do that because they're trying to get to the "juicy" bits, but it hurts this story. Also, reading about two teenagers going at it is just a bit awkward. Again, common in BL, but still awkward nonetheless. It was also a very stereotypical "first-time" spice scene. After finishing the manga, I was amused when I realized that the plot blurb for this manga literally tells you exactly what happens in the story. It's not just an overview, it's the storyline of the entire manga, except the last chapter which has a spicy scene. I will say, the art style is lovely though. Nice crisp lines, and nicely defined faces.

A very cute love story, nothing more than that!! I wish we had more backstory to the characters, it was all very fast, but it was a good narrative, and the drawings were beautiful.

Oh my gosh! These two are so adorable! I want to read more about these two. I loved how one of them had a crush on the other for a while.

I wanted to enjoy this way more than I did. It had a cute premise and even some cute story beats about first love and consent and misunderstandings. I can't fault certain aspects that while they annoyed me, are typical of the genre, or the annoying format of the eARC, but even expecting these things, I was frustrated with the dialogue and the art. Some of the dialogue (and I promise I know how to read a manga properly) was confusing and it felt like pages were almost missing in places where the story stumbled.

It's a beautiful story, a classic student romance where both characters discover more about themselves and each other. The art is beautiful, the fast pace makes it a breeze to read, and although it's a short read, the impression stays with you for a long time. The fact that it plays a little with the classic elements of the genre is a good bonus, but it maintains the essence of a wholesome romance.

I recieved this as a free copy from Netgalley to give an honest review!

This is a cute, fast paced manga about shy, small boy and friendly, tall boy falling in love! It hits all the tropes for yaoi manga, and efficiently. Cute story overall. When I say fast pace, I mean it. It's a love at first sight for both characters, and the trope of trying to be friends first doesn't last super long. Either way, especially since they're high schoolers, it seems pretty on target for how quickly they move. It is pretty heavy on the miscommunication trope, but considering it is both characters reacting positively to it, I'm not that mad about it.

The art style is pretty cute. There are some awkward shots, but I think that's to reflect the newness of their relationship and experiences, and it's cute. But I do really enjoy this art style, it is part of the reason I wanted to read this one.

I have a few issues with it, primarily surrounding their sexual relationship. First of all, full warning, it does display sex between minors. I appreciate that it's not between an adult and a minor, but as an adult it does make me fairy uncomfortable reading it, as it is pretty explicit. Also, there is a little bit of forced intimacy, that while I understand the characters didn't mind, it was almost on the toxic side, so if you have previous trauma surrounding someone forcing themselves on you, I would skip this one.
