The chemistry between Nolan and Bee was obvious from their first meeting, but I felt like the relationship/emotional development was lacking for much of the book. That made it feel more like a physical only relationship between two people who had celebrity crushes on each other.

I had no idea spicy holiday was a thing but I am here for it 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻 Based on the cover you’d think this was a typical holiday rom com which it is definitely not and I absolutely devoured and loved it. It is spicy x100 but also with so much depth. I absolutely loved the message of the book, which is something I think the world could use a lot more of - maybe we don’t have to personally agree with someone’s else life choices for ourselves but we can be tolerant of differences and learn from other’s experiences…and also maybe we’re all a little kinky 😉 Seriously though, can you imagine a world where we didn’t automatically “cancel” people just because they choose a different path or have different opinions? What a place that would be ❤️ Please do yourself a favor and add this to your TBR!

Book Review:

I gave this book 4 stars. For me the book started out a little slow but as the story progressed it got better. I love the two main characters in the story. I like how Nolan wasn’t worried about how Bee looked. I love the family and friendship that is portrayed in the story and how everyone is very supportive. I am glad that Bee had a positive attitude about her job as a porn star and her weight. I also liked how she wanted to do something better but wasn’t afraid to continue with her work as a porn star if need be.

This book is for adult’s only because it is very steamy and very bedroom detailed.

Not only does Bee have rules to follow that is listed above but so does Nolan by his Manager. Is Nolan as bad as everyone thinks? You will have to read the book to find out.

As much as I wanted to love this novel (Julie Murphy is one of my favorite authors), A Merry Little Meet Cute fell flat for me. The story itself was fine and is certainly a great book to read to get you in the holiday spirit, but it was missing the extra depth that I have come to expect from Murphy’s writing. If you are looking for a funny, mindless seasonal romance with some spice, this is the book for you.

This is a cute Christmas romance that takes place on the set of a movie. The main characters are not usually the type seen in romcoms. Bea is a porn star who wants to branch out into mainstream films, and her costar Nolan is a former boy band member with a shaky reputation. The Hallmark type channel doesn’t know about Bea’s alter ego (as Bianca Von Honey). Bea and Nolan need to keep both their affair and her identity a secret to protect the movie.

Oh hey! Festive and steamy. If you are looking for the perfect holiday read, this one is it. I enjoyed the behind the scenes of a movie set and play on the Hallmark Channel. It was just fluffy and cute all the way through. I fell in love with Bee as well. She was strong and confident which just made me feel that way myself. I loved the inclusive and positive vibes in this story as well as the banter and relationships. It was steammyyyyyyy and rompy for those readers who enjoy that in their romances.

I loved everything about this book! I loved the spicy...the meet cute factor...the main characters "secret" obsessions with each other...the body positivity...the setting! This book was wonderful!

I’m fat, I’m queer, and I love this book right here! I can’t count the amount of times I laughed out loud, it was so funny! And so heartwarming! And of course, steamy AF. This was exactly what I needed to get into the Christmas spirit. Now give us a sequel. 🤨

Overall, I enjoyed most of A Merry Little Meet Cute but I did have some issues with it. I loved the premise of it and thought it was a totally unique story. My biggest issue with this was that it felt a little too long. I usually don't mind it when books are longer but only if it's length is helping progress of the storyline. In this case, I just felt like it was too long without adding anything to the story. It got a little convoluted with so much going in in the middle that I kind of wanted to hurry up and finish it.

This book had lots of spice and romance while teaching how important family is and it doesn't have to look a certain way. I loved the 90s and 2000s boy band nostalgia and how women are beautiful no matter what. I'm glad there's 2 more books in the works.

I devoured this book, It was everything i want in a book and more.
I loved the characters with my whole heart. Their development throughout the book was great, their banter was *Chefs Kiss*.
Sierra and Julie really hit this one right on the head, In a world where a lot of things in this book are such a hot topic and changing into new norms it was so nice to see all of this wrapped up in a nice little package, with a pretty bow on top.

This was pretty much exactly what you’d expect from reading the synopsis! I wanted it to feel more Christmassy. Also kind of cringey at times and some plot points didn’t feel necessary. Overall, this was good if you want a steamy, easy to read book you can read in a few sittings!

Ya this was a miss for me. I was drawn to the this book for the cutesy cover, themes of body positivity, and the idea of a “meet cute”. I would not identify this as a meet cute or even an intriguing rom/com plot. However, it was very body positivity, hence the 2 stars.
