A beautiful story of redemption and second chances. I enjoyed the twists and turns of the story! I look forward to reading more by the author.
This one ended up being a sweet read that I liked even though I'm not a huge fan of second chance romances. But there was just something about this one that click for me. It may have just been the author's writing style.
Book review : Love Reunited by Tara Taffera is a sweet romantic story of a christian girl.
This story is of Elizabeth Carlson who heads away from all but has never moved on from Tyler Williams with whom she shared a whirlwind relationship. She finds herself so cozy in a new enviornment with new friends leaving or confiding her guilts and secrets along. One day she finds Tyler in her city infront of her.
Here starts the unravelling of all the secrets as both of them feel a hidden love which they never accepted. Will they ever accept their sins and guilts for a better future???
The story is written in a lucid language and beginner friendly. The author has done an incredible job in explaining true but difficult concepts of Bible in such a smooth way with a lovely story of Elizabeth. I loved reading this cozy romantic story which touched my heart.
I am thankful to netgalley and expresso publishers for giving me this book in return of an honest review.
Happy Reading !

I really did not like this book. It was the first one I have read, and maybe I would like the characters more. I understand the emotion that she went through but he was abusive, there was no reason to not let him know.
I'm sorry for the brief review, but I do not want to give any spoilers.
I received an advance reader copy in exchange for a fair review.
This is a beautifully written sweet romance that was a joy to read. Liz and Tyler's story is full of emotions and forgiveness. It will keep you turning the pages to see what happens next. This is a new-to-me author and now I want to read the other two books in this series.
I received a complimentary copy from Tara Taffera via NetGalley and was not required to write a review. All opinions expressed are my own.
This is me telling everyone who says they don't judge books by their covers that they're either liars or they haven't been around books in a long time.
When I requested for Love Reunited, I'd never heard of the author, but it was the cover for me. Even more than the blurb.
This is the blurb:
Elizabeth Carlson turns heads wherever she goes but has never moved on from Tyler Williams, with whom she shared a whirlwind relationship her senior year of high school. After only a month together, Elizabeth ran away from her past and her broken family. Ten years later, Tyler comes crashing back in her life, eager for a second chance. But she can’t forgive him for the order he issued all those years ago. Slowly, a high school romance turns into so much more, but her secrets, and his anger, threaten to ruin their happily ever after. Will God’s grace and love lead them back to each other?
Review:
To be fair, I wouldn't say I particularly enjoyed this book. The first chapter was the bomb, raising my expectations and making me flip the pages (or rather scroll the pages) for more.
While I loved the themes of Christian community and friendship and forgiveness, this book did not meet my expectations.
The main problem was the pacing and length. This book could have conveniently been an excellent novella. The first 25% was amazing, but then there was a drag through the middle. There were too many repetitions about how much of a head-turning and showstopping beauty Elizabeth was. There were so many reiterations of what had been said. There wasn't enough juice through the middle. Only for the story to pick up at the last 25%.
Also, the characters seemed like a matched staff. There was no real diversity. I don't mean in terms of race or culture (though it faulted in that regard), but in terms of difference in tone and personality. They were all cheery and at some point, it became a bit annoying.
Maybe because I didn't start the series, I can't really relate to the Characters.
Anyway, it was a beautiful storyline with lovely themes. It might be a good fit for some readers, but it wasn't for me.
