I didn’t realize this was part of a series until I read some reviews. Overall this a fun, light read about a sweet couple trying to make long distance work.

Thank you NetGalley and Kana Wu for this advance reader copy in exchange for my honest review.

No Secrets Allowed was the perfect light reading that I needed. I was not aware that this was a sequel until I had already finished the book and plan to go back and read the first, No Romance Allowed, to get more background and development on the characters. This novel, though, captures the struggles of long-distance relationships and navigating love from a distance. I felt the beginning was a bit slow but quickly picked up. An enjoyable romance!

Thank you to NetGalley and Kana Wu for the opportunity to read this novel.
No Secrets Allowed is the sequel of No Romance Allowed, and both are amazing!
When I started this book, I didn´t realized that it was a sequel, so I went to buy the first one, as I was really interested into the story.
Again, as it happened with the first book, I spend till very late reading half of it till I finished it and I felt like I need a third book!
Rory is now in Boston as she had quit her previous job in California, now working in a much better place, with a great boss and nice colleagues. Now she's in a long-distance relationship with Peter, while he has to stay in California (and traveling to London) as he's taking his place as president of one of his family businesses. They try to see each other whenever they can, have video chats and texts, but it's not easy as both are very busy with theirs jobs, specially Peter, who's trying to do his best, but when something comes up and he's not able to tell the truth to Rory, she starts to question their relationship.

I really enjoyed this novel, I'm glad I read the first one, but I think this a great one with the plot twists, drama and romance. I know the author will write a third book for next year, which I can't wait.

No Secrets Allowed by Kana Wu is a story about Rory, who moved to Boston after college and her boyfriend Peter, who remained in California. A long distance relationship can be hard on anyone, but honesty is the backbone. Can Rory and Peter get through when there are No Secrets Allowed?

This book was an interesting read for me. The characters are well developed and they come across well when it is inner monologue. The conversations when it is Rory and Peter together it is a little hard. There were points the perspective of the narrator switches from one to the other in the middle of a chapter with no indication that it was happening.

This book has potential and I would be interested to see if there are other books coming in the series.

Book review : No Secrets Allowed by Kana Wu is a lovely romantic book about a long distance relationships.

Long distance relationships are hard to maintain for long as it demands consistent stifle your emotions if you start liking someone near you or someone approaches you.

In this book the author has deliberately told an elusive story of Rory who started loving Peter and maintained a long distance relationship not straining more of their responsibilities and not hurting one other's self esteem.

I appreciate the way the author briefed the story of NO ROMANCE ALLOWED in this book as it is the next part of it on the go. I loved reading both the books and could easily relate to all the characters but it is enough if someone go for this first.

Rory got to know about lots of secrets related to her and Peter which strangles their relation or break up . It was interesting to read their little tangles and how they solve or not.

I am thankful to netgalley and the publisher to provide me this book in return of an honest review. I recommend this book to all romantic book lovers.
Happy Reading!

Thank you NetGalley and Kana Wu for this ARC of No Secrets Allowed.
I should first start of this review by saying that I have not read the first book of the series so I went into the second book of the series blindly. With that being said I thoroughly loved this book.

No Secrets Allowed is about Peter and Rory who start of as roommates/friends(assuming this was what the first book was about) turned into boyfriend/girlfriend. The book is presented from both characters point of views so the characters felt developed and emotions raw.

Peter was born into a wealthy family and after his sister dies he is left promising her that he would be in charge of the family business. With that promise comes having to deal with his family expectations and dating above him or equal to him- which Rory is neither. Prior to dating Rory Peter was a party boy and because of Rory has completely transformed into a true gentleman head over heels for Rory.

Rory finds herself in Boston after attending college and working in California for several years prior (where Peter currently lives). She loves her job and her Aunt who basically raised her after her mom passed. Rorys character I really loved she was fun, loyal and honest. She struggled with a tough past (essentially no family aside for her Aunt) and lacking self esteem due to past relationships. Through out the book she realized how much Peter is in love with her, but finds its hard to believe. She also loves Peter so much that she puts her own feelings aside for what she believes he truly wants/needs.

Without giving too much away as readers we are navigated through a long distance relationship in which other love interests occur, family politics and self development all present themselves as issues. Each character truly established themselves at the end and I was left wanting more.

I would 100 percent read another book by Kana Wu and would actually love a third book to the series. Kana presented a lot of strong supporting characters in this book in which I could completely see being a spin off to this. Kana your writing is beautiful and heart felt. I loved feeling for these characters and I cannot wait to see what other books you present in the future. Thank you for allowing me to read just a raw novel.

This threw me for a loop a few times. It was well written and cute but some of it I had a hard time getting through. While this was a good book it was kind of slow in some spots and felt rushed in others. I would recommend this to anyone who’s beginning to read rom com style books. But I wouldn’t recommend for anyone who’s an advanced romance reader

I enjoyed this one! It started off a little bit slow in the beginning but picked up quickly and once it did, I was hooked!

A sweet tale about a couple trying to stay together in a long-distanced relationship. There are conflicts with other family members, stress from work and temptations lurking everywhere... Both of the characters are nice people and extremely likable. Their struggles are relatable to anyone in a long-distanced relationship. I really enjoy this book.

Thanks to the publisher for the arc.
