I loved reading this one. I just love this kind of books.
4 stars read for me. I love this author snd her writing style.
Thanks to netgally for this arc.

I've really enjoyed this serious so I was pumped to read the third book and it didn't disappoint. Fake marriage isn't the romance troupe I typically gravitate towards, but love Ann's spin on it. Not to mention the magic element really made it stand out.
I also really appreciated that Trev as a different type of romantic interest -- one that I haven't seen in romance a lot. I think Ann did a great job of balancing Trev's previous struggles with mental health and how that played a role in his relationship with Leanne and his friends. A lot of the times, it feels like the romantic interest has it together and the protagonist is the one trying to figure things out. So it was nice to see it flipped this time around.
I have to say Ann did such a great job with this series, because all the books are basically happening in the same timeline -- so they overlap. So things that didn't make sense for side characters becomes clear when they have their own book.
This book dealt with some tough issues in a way that was sensitive but also didn't make the story feel heavy.
I hope this isn't the last book in the series!
Thanks again to NetGalley and Sourcebooks for an arc of this book!

This was a cute book but it wasn't my favorite. The story moved really quickly and I couldn't connect with the main character because she just felt a little immature.
Thank you #netgalley for an early read of #extrawitchy

The first book in this series was good but with the second book I didn’t care for the heroine. And I didn’t like the heroine from this book when she was the secondary character in the first two books in the series. So I don’t know why I thought I would like her and her story when she got her own book.

I've read the previous two books in the series (all are standalones) and I enjoyed them, so I was excited for this one too! And it was really good! Marriage of convenience is one of my favorite tropes and I loved the role reversal in certain aspects in Extra Witchy!

This one was a bit of a rollercoaster for me. I started off loving it, in the middle I started losing that and feeling a little frustrated with the characters, and toward the end I enjoyed how it all played out..
I enjoyed the initial chemistry of Leanne and Trevor, probably the most out of the other two books. Things went a bit down for me as they got deeper into the relationship and made their negotiations. I don’t want to spoil anything so no details included, but I just felt that, although they had a mutual agreement, the power dynamic was in Leanne’s favor which easily skews Trevor’s consent. Then the gender role swap - although I appreciated a strong female protagonist, was a bit strong and if it were the other way around, women would be irate.
As the story went on, things started improving quite a bit and were redeeming enough that I was happy I continued. Seeing Trevor and Leanne both grow as independent people and together was sweet. Overall it’s their path and not mine, so looking at this book as a whole it was an addition to the series!
Thank you to Sourcebooks Casablanca and NetGalley for my DRC in exchange for an honest review!

I liked this book a lot! I zoomed through this book just like I zoomed through the first two :-) I was really rooting for Trevor specifically and I'm so glad he got his happy ending!

Exactly what I needed during the Halloween season. Had the precise balance betweeen laughter, sisterhood,.and serie finale.

Nice finish to the series! I thoroughly enjoyed Boss Witch and Witch Please, and was looking forward to reading Leanne's book. Leanne is going to run for political office (she can definitely do a better job than the men) but needs a partner to be more 'socially acceptable'. So she's on the hunt for a man who wouldn't mind being her plus one - a modern marriage of convenience. And she finds such a man in Trevor, her sexy one-night stand who happens to be living in his parent's basement after a failed relationship, a man who is easygoing and fun and in need of a job - so why not offer him the position of boyfriend, then husband? I loved the way this story flowed, the development of the real relationship between Trevor and Leanne. There is some magic in it, but it doesn't overwhelm the story (and makes for an interesting and more action filled second half). The epilogue is particularly sweet. Highly recommend this one and the whole series.

Leanne could be seen as a hard person - she was straight-laced - you know what she was thinking. she was ambitious and driven.
Trevor was a bit of the opposite he is stuck and doesn't know what to do next or how to get out. what else could they do but get married - win-win right
I believe they won more than either bargained for
I enjoyed the way the magic was interlaced into the story - the world was the same but with some magic that Leanne use when needed
A good easy read with some funny banter and good spicy scenes

Yay, another Fix-it witches story! When reading Boss Witch I had already seen that Leanne’s story would be next.
The stories of Ann are cute and funny. Trevor in this story, however, is a bit of an over-the-top-kind-of-loser. He is jobless, homeless and spineless. And although he is nice and supportive to Leanne, I still really wanted to kick his butt to make something of his life.
But in all, Extra Witchy is yet another great addition to the series about sisterhood, secrets and believing in yourself. Four out of five stars from me and a special thank you to Netgalley for providing the arc.

Extra Witchy is book three in the Fix-It Witches series, and it overlaps somewhat with book two. While it could be read as a standalone, I think reading at least book two would help it make the most sense throughout the story.
Leanne Vanderpol is sick of the local government’s good ol’ boys club and determined to win an upcoming election. The only problem she sees - she’s single with two divorces under her belt, which may not look the best to voters. Enter Trevor Montgomery - after a spicy hook-up at a party, could he be the answer to her problem?
I loved Leanne and Trevor’s relationship and how they ended up being just what the other needed. I did think that Trevor’s depression did “disappear” pretty quickly and felt like that was glossed over a bit too much, even though it was such a large part of his life pre-Leanne/marriage.
The story left some openings for potential future books with the coven - hopefully we get to visit again soon!
I received an advanced reading copy, receipt of which did not impact my review.

Another fun witchy romance! I liked Leanne, she’s a very professional witch who has worked in politics and would like to be mayor someday. Definitely not a witchy character who’s working on her crystals for a living.
Leanne knows that it would help her campaign for city council if she has a partner, so she gets a guy she met at a party to agree to a fake relationship. She’s been married twice and has no desire to try again. Trevor is living in his parent’s basement getting high and playing video games. He needs insurance so he can go to therapy but circumstances have left him without options. The fake dating/marriage plan is just what he needs, and he cooks and cleans and that makes him the perfect partner for Leanne.
As they get accustomed to their new relationship, they develop real feelings for each other and Leanne discovers that maybe she needs a partner after all.
Thanks to the publisher and NetGalley I received a complimentary copy of this book. Opinions expressed as in this review are completely my own.
I enjoyed this one, 4 stars.

❤️❤️❤️ out of 5
This book started off with some definite heat 🔥🔥🔥 and then progressed into one of my favourite tropes- a marriage of convenience which really doesn’t happen that often outside of historical romances. While this book is technically paranormal, it reads much more like a traditional contemporary romance with a hint of paranormal thrown in.
Our hero and heroine meet at a party and hit it off so well that they can’t make it any further than the bathroom……. Our heroine has meanwhile decided to run for office and thinks that her reputation being twice divorced could use some polishing so she decides to proposition the hero into being husband number 3…… and he accepts.
I was unsure how I was going to feel about the book because maybe for the first time ever the hero wasn’t someone I could imagine as a book boyfriend. He lived in his parents basement, smokes weed (quite a bit) and doesn’t have a job. I was pleasantly surprised by his character’s journey and by the end I was rooting for him and the heroine. I liked their relationship but overall the book was still a bit meh, and I felt that the author viewed the world with some very rose coloured glasses.

Highly entertaining and not your average small-town happily ever after. Really enjoyed this emotional and laugh out loud fun magical adventure filled with witty and engaging charters, heart racing twists and edge of your seat moments. Great reading!

This book was ok. The storyline had potential, but the writing wasn't for me. The characters were not well developed and were whiney to the point of being annoying. I couldn't get into the story.
Thank you NetGalley for the opportunity to read this book.

DNF. I just couldn't with Trevor. He was so negative that I just couldn't root for him. I felt sorry for Leanne.

Thanks to Sourcebooks Casablanca, Netgalley and the author for an ARC of this book. I am leaving this review voluntarily.
This is the first book by this author that I have read and I thoroughly enjoyed it. I already like supernatural romance and have been branching out a little recently, looking for stuff that is different. I like the way this author writes about her characters in an accepting and empathetic way.
I really loved Leanna and Trevor's relationship and them as individuals as well. I loved how Leanne's character struck the balance between being forthright and independent as well as a loving partner. Trevor's struggle with mental health and his gradual recovery was wonderful to read.
A great story that's so much more than a seasonal paranormal romance. i look forward to more from this author,

I love Ann Aguirre's books! The first 2 of the series are in my tbr but this one...funny and i finished it in one day. Great crafting of the story and the HEA was *chef's kiss*

I've been very excited to check out Aguirre's books, particularly as it's spooky season and I've heard such good things about them, so I eagerly dove into Extra Witchy. Unfortunately, I found myself quite disappointed and I ended up DNFing the book.
From the very beginning of the book, I struggled to engage with it right from the start and I had to keep pushing myself to read it. Like, whenever I put the book down, I'd procrastinate doing almost anything in order to avoid having to pick it up again. I really did want to push through and finish the book but it was such a struggle and I really lost interest in it.
I really liked Trev, however my main issue was that I didn't particularly like Leanne. Don't get me wrong, I loved that she was strong and determined and career driven, but I didn't like how she was written. I'm not sure how to describe it but I just didn't connect with her which made this book a real struggle.
I'm also not a fan of insta-love so I struggled to enjoy their relationship and I was highly disappointed by the lack of magic given the title but that may have been down to my own expectations.
