As a federal criminal litigator myself and as someone who believes (and has written extensively myself) about criminal justice reform, I can always enjoy and appreciate a well-written and researched opinion piece like this! While I won’t say I personally agree with everything the author says, he makes some great points in a professional and respectful way and this is exactly the kind of public discourse our society needs.

I have recently taken a liking to non-fiction reads and this one really taught me a lot. I didn’t realize how interesting this topic was until I finished reading and had to sit with what I had just learned. I definitely would read more from this author.
