I enjoyed this sweet story of a strong friendship across the miles. Thank you to the publisher and to Net Galley. My review opinions are my own.
A long friendship is changed forever by cancer. Megan dies from cancer and leaves specific instructions for her friend Nell to go to Megan's hometown to not only spread her ashes but to explore the people of the small town and develop friendships along the way. Nell is in need of friends and Megan makes sure this happens for her. With exact instructions Nell begins to follow she meets people who change her life and soon realizes her friend is helping her develop a new life.
This is charming throughout as Nell discovers herself and begins anew. This is a must read that sweeps the reader away and gives us all a sense of friendship through the ages. Well done to the author.
The Inn at Tansy Falls is a book that I could read over and over again. It hit all my emotions as I read it. ‘
The story of two women Nell and Megan who have been best friends forever and how their friendship deepened even after Megan loses her battle with cancer.
Megan leaves a handwritten note to Nell and tells her what she would like her to do after her death. Nell had no idea that the journey Megan sent her on to the little town of Tansy Falls to spread her ashes was just what Nell needed to do in her life. Megan also gave her things to see and people to meet while she is there.
Thank you NetGalley, Cate Woods and Forever for the ARC of The Inn at Tansy Falls. This is my personal review.
A delightful, feel good read! I truly enjoyed this sweet, heartwarming, well crafted story of a grieving English woman discovering a new path for herself in Vermont, aided by adventures prescribed for her by her late best friend. The Vermont village was beautifully depicted and charming, and was populated with a cast of characters who were well drawn and colorful - especially eccentric shopkeeper Darlene. A nice tale for a rainy or snowy afternoon. Many thanks to NetGalley and Bookouture for the complimentary ARC. Opinions are my own.
This was a quick read but it was so full of emotions that I found myself fully invested in each and every word. I couldn’t put it down until I was turned the last page. While I read this on a chilly day, this warmed my heart and soul and made me want to find my own small town in Vermont to call home!
I loved this book! Cate Woods has delivered a heartwarming, comfortable story about the power of friendship and the importance of finding one's true self. Bell's story and her journey, planned by her best friend before her death is a sentimental and uplifting adventure. The characters were delightful and felt like friends. This was a wonderful book that I couldn't put down! Thanks #NetGalley

The setting is lovely, a small-town in Vermont. And the vivid descriptions was outta this world.

A woman's best friend fought so hard against the cancer but it sadly snuffed out her life in the end.
She doesn't want her best friend to be sad and think of her this way so she creates an itinerary of things for her to do for her as her last wish.
The friend is to go to her hometown of Tansy Falls and meet people she knew and do things that impacted her life. The story is of how meeting these people that used to know her best friend and going to these places changed not only her life but the citizen's of this small, feels like home town of Tansy Falls. We meet a lot of Tansy Falls citizens and they will make you feel right at home.
I was given a complimentary copy of this book.

This book was sent to me electronically by Netgalley for review. Thanks to the publisher for the copy. This is a delightful story of a group of characters who come to life on the pages. It is fiction but reads like nonfiction. I can imagine visiting Tansy Falls and meeting them. The main character, Nell, visits from London. She has a list of places to go compiled by her friend who has died. This is a poignant, lovely book. It is memorable. This is a book that gives the reader the opportunity to escape for a quick read. Yet there are themes that are important to remember…friendship…honesty…love and romance…family…keeping promises…loss…starting over…memories…meeting new people…helping others. I liked this book so much. I really liked this book…I enjoyed it from the first page to the end. I want more in this line of writing…more from Nell and her friends in Tansy Falls. This is the genre of book that we long for…not just a cozy romance but a book about life. Get comfortable in a cozy chair with a cup of steaming herbal tea. Grab a warm scone…get lost in Tansy Falls. I would give this book more than five stars.
