Amazing companion for the novel! Perfect for book clubs, or nerds like me who enjoy all of the extra stuff without being in a book club. The designs and layout are great.

I found this book club kit very complete and full of additional material. In fact, other than the usual discussions with the author, it contains also an interview about the cover design, some bookmarks to print, writing exercises, advices from Izzy and even cocktail recipes. I recommend reading the interviews after having finished the book, to avoid spoilers.

This was such a good Book Kit to have!
I loved the questions, the bookmarks and the "Pen Name" game. It really was a good addition that I think more people should have access to.

I actually haven't read "By The Book" by Jasmine Guillory, so I came reading this book club kit to imagine whether I can apply it to other book club. It contains important points and I think is applicable for making a book club more alive. Great kit!

I like that we have an interview with the author, as well as the discussion questions (and a reasonable amount). It was pretty cool to also see the cover design interview, as it gave more insight into the design elements of the book. The bookmarks are adorable and match the book! I really like that this book box also included games (e.g., pen name generator), writing exercises to test your inner author, tips for creating the perfect charcuterie board (love me some cheese and other snacks), and a drink idea.

Wow, this book club kit was so incredibly useful! I read this book a few months ago, and I wish I had this kit back then. It felt like I was reading a magazine spread specifically about this book. The questions are helpful, but I especially loved the author interview, the cover designer interview, and the book recs! I run a book club, and I might use these in the future for any relevant books.

This was great to have for my book club, did not think about it not being the book. So was surprised when I realized it was just a kit for book club members to use. Did come in hand though, so we were able to use it accordingly. Thanks NetGalley for approving it!

What an amazing book club kit to help create discussion in regards to "By the book" by Jasmine Guillory. From the discussion questions, bookmark print outs, and writing exercises to the charcuterie board ideas, drink recipes and other books that are recommended were wonderfully done. The pen name generator was a little cheesy and maybe unnecessary but other than that it was a wonderful handout for a book club and I would look forward to other book club kits! I wish these were available for all books that I read.

This book was okay. It's definitely not one of my favorites. I feel like the romance between the two MC's didn't really have much chemistry and found myself questioning why they were together most of the time.
