Hot, sexy, fun!
Eve Dangerfield is basically an auto-read for me! Her books are so fun, and First and Forever didn’t disappoint.
I love a good he falls first, sexy alpha!
The family dynamics of the FMC are rough and the MMC is there to support her: love that!
Highly recommend! I never know how to compare Eve Dangerfield because she’s in a class all her own (in the best way!), but maybe Tessa Bailey but with a little more grit.
A fake dating romance between a football star and an upcoming DJ set in Australia.
It was a fun and spicy read about Willow and Eden. He's a player trying to find the one and she's trying to leave behind her demons.
I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced copy of this book received from the publisher via NetGalley. All thoughts and opinions are my own.
Book review :
The book is a sweet romantic story. The story revolves around football player Sloan ‘Willow’ Williams, an incurable romance seeker looking for The One in all the places, wrong and right. The second he lays eyes on Eden Jade Cartwright, he is convinced he finally found Her.
But Eden does not want any attachments. The only thing that she's pursuing is an international career as a DJ. She wants to write her songs and make her music and dominate the scene.
Both of them use each other to stick their pursuits. But faking a relationship can last how long? But things aren't as simple as a few Instagram photos and going to events. Soon, feelings gets stronger and realer for both of them. Life crashes in and forces both of them to confront their past in different ways and move forward or stay stuck. Take a chance or play it safe.
The way the author has depicted their strong desires for their career and how deep they can go to pursue it. Their faking relationship, evoking love and haunting past....all the things kept me intrigued till the end...
I loved reading this book and would recommend this book to all romantic book lovers. I am thankful to netgalley and the publisher for gifting me this book in return of an honest review.
Happy Reading!
Loved this story between Willow and Eden. It was a super cute rom com young adult romance book. Was a quick read for me and definitely will recommend to others! Thank you NetGalley for the arc copy!
Eve Dangerfield really gave us a mix of everything that we love in this book. I’m talking age gap, sports romance, fake dating ans cinnamon role hero and badass DJ heroine.
Eden and Willow are complete opposites, with her DJ career finally taking off she is living the high life, partying and not taking anything too seriously. Willow is a famous Scottish-Australian football player with a tendency to be a serial dater, but knew the moment he laid eyes on Eden its game-over. With his reputation and her fear of commitment, will these two superstars make it work?
Thank you to the author for sending me a copy of this book to review.
I sped read this in one sitting, and all I can say is damn, Eve really knows how to write a spicy scene. That was immaculate.
The tension between Eden and her family was so frustrating it felt like you were personally fighting with them as well, and the ups and downs she and Willow went through felt like you were on the rollercoaster with them.
Overall a quick, steamy and entertaining read!
Eve is simply the best. Raw, hilarious, filthy, provocative, poignant. I loved First and Forever, and it's become one of my favourite Dangerfields.
Personally, this was not the book for me. I tried on multiple occasions to get into this book but in the end I unfortunately had to give up on trying to finish it. I do think that people who are into the subject matter and style of writing will love this book though.
Thank you to NetGalley and Eve Dangerfield for the DRC of First and Forever. Sadly, this book was not to my taste. I was not too fond of the characters or the author's writing style.
I love a good Eve Dangerfield book, but this one missed the mark for me. I just couldn’t get around the way that Willow and Eden first met. Sure, their encounter was steamy, but it was so outrageous that it took me out of the story and I had trouble getting back into it. I also felt Willow was a bit creepy with his profession of love at first sight.
However, in the end, I did like the overall progression of the story and Eve again didn’t disappoint with the steamier scenes. She sure knows how to write them! I devoured the book within a day. I would suggest this book to anyone looking for a quick, spicy read. I will definitely be going back to read "Begin Again Again".
I want to thank NetGalley, Eve Dangerfield for the e-ARC of this book. Opinions expressed in this review are honest, my own and left voluntarily.
Sweet!
This was the lovely and hot story of Willow and Eden.
Willow is a football player who sees a DJ and is convinced she is the one. As he is a lucky guy, opportunities arise and he has the chance to get together with Eden. He sizes the opportunity and things start to move, though both of them have to transform a bit about themselves, for him it's the choice of what to do with his career as it comes close to its end and for her is a question of dealing with her trauma, her family, her starting success and her wishes for her own life.
Both Eden and Willow are such dear characters, he is all sweet, tender, caring, there's this caring daddy vibe without the actual trope or role playing. Though, as it is with some books by Eve, there is a lot of role playing. Eden, while having to get over heavy emotional stuff she is lovely, loving, and when she fights for herself and stands her ground she is a powerhouse. Her taking her life into her own hands is a beautiful sight to witness.
There are a lot of hot scenes, a lot of sweet moments, the funny and charming guys from the team make a comeback and Eden's friend are equally nice and make great supporting characters.
All in all, this was a lovely read!
I received a copy of this in order to offer my personal view on it.
I enjoyed the last instalment in this series and was looking forward to read First and Forever.
It’s such a great, fulfilling story with characters that challenge themselves throughout the book and a chemistry that none of them can deny.
As usual, the steam is off the charts and just perfectly for these two.
Looking forward to see where the author will take us next.
Very grateful to the publisher for my review copy

Review ~
First and forever is a fake dating, sport romance, female DJ, and contemporary romance.
Willow is a famous football player who is looking for love. But when he laid eyes on Eden he knew that she was the one.
Eden is a DJ who doesn’t want to do any dating and have no strings attached with anyone. She is very passionate about her music and are determined to work hard to achieve her dreams.
Overall this book was amazing. I highly recommend this book eventually if you love read fake dating trope. The characters story lines were really good. I really enjoyed this book and could not put it down!
I generally don't like sports romances but when I you throw in music it looks like I'm hooked and can't get enough. I also loved that the hero wasn't an American football player as in the NFL. But instead a footballer as in soccer. Haven't seen that in a rom com before.
A big thank you to NetGalley and Eve Langerfield for the ARC. I am voluntarily reviewing this book. This is part of a series, and this is number 3. It reads okay as a stand alone. I can't imagine this lifestyle, and I never got invested. I did like Eden and Willow. For me, this was just ok. 3 stars
This was a cute book - I went into it with just the brief synopsis and nothing more. I was .. slightly surprised at the level of *spice* -- not in a bad way by any means. Just sort of felt like I was living out someone else's fantasy with little to no warning. Again, not a bad thing - I just didn't see it coming based on the book summary. The characters were adorable, if not a little rom-com-blind-to-love type, but overall I'd recommend to a friend.
Took me a while to get in to this book, but once I did I enjoyed reading. You want the characters to end up together at the end.
This book was great - Eve Dangerfield writes steam and emotion so well. I love a cinnamon roll hero who just wants to take care of his partner. There was strong character development, and it was so interesting that the heroine was involved in EDM - I haven’t read a book with that before. I’ll definitely be checking out the first two books in this series!
Content: alcohol use, s*x work k*ink (?), abusive/negligent family, past grooming
Hot mess DJ and general creature of the night Eden meets ultimate fan-boy, giant ginger footballer Willow/Sloan at a show. He’ll do basically anything to be in her orbit, even agreeing to a fake Instagram relationship to help her get more famous and earn a tour with another DJ. Little does Eden realize how much Willow is already gone for her, nor does she expect to catch feelings.
Overall I enjoyed the book. It had a pretty slow start for me, and felt a bit long overall (sort of drags in the middle). The k*nk wasn’t exactly my cup of tea either, but that’s my fault for grabbing a book I knew would push my comfort zone.
This book was fantastic! I made the mistake of starting at 8 o’clock at night and did not go to sleep for hours. I had to finish it. I started reading Eve Dangerfield books this year and I will read every single book she publishes forever. I loved Eden and Willow relationship. Willow knew what he wanted and went for it, Eden is a lucky girl. Plus this book was really, really hot! Seriously read it everyone, now!
this book was really really really good
ok so its kinda a love at first sight/fake relationship type of story
super sweet wholesome with some spicy/ dirty talking (but not too much)
there was role-playing scenes that spiced up their fake dating/dating/friend thing
Eden and Willow are so much opposites in some ways but alike in other but they are def perfect for each other
fun read that I didn't want to put down but life happened and I finished it in 3 days lol
the ending was sooo perfect
