NYC clothing designer and boutique owner Grace is looking for a companion for her weekend trip with her wealthy, elitist, and unscrupulous friends. In comes the paid “boyfriend” for the weekend, Tybalt. While Grace is trying to manage things since her ex-husband went to prison, Tybalt is just trying to make ends meet and see if there is more to Grace than meets the eye.
This book was a fun, quick read. This book felt very remnant of a fanfiction. The characters felt very one dimensional although I could see the author trying to make the “villains” layered, but it was too little too late. I found myself routing for the couple, and I liked the evolution of their physical relationship.

Interesting plot, fascinating characters, lot of unexpected turns and twist will keep you invested in this book till you finish it in one breath. Great story worth reading.

Megan Morgan has succeeded in creating a fun, engaging story I'd recommend for your next beach trip. Set predominantly in a resort on a tropical island, it strikes a good balance between steamy and interesting. It also helps that Tybalt, the protagonist, is dreamy AND likeable. The story is easy to follow, and is a relatively quick read.
Grace, a clothing designer and boutique owner in NYC, has divorced her now-felon husband, and has found herself deeply embroiled in legal woes and social expectations. Faced with a looming tropical vacation with the high-brow friends she shared with her ex, she decides to compensate by bringing along a date, Tybalt - from an escort service. Attraction, chaos, and drama ensues as Tybalt reminds Grace that family, loyalty, and self-respect are worth far more than what money can buy. But will our unlikely lovebirds survive the fallout?
