Had a hard time reviewing this one. I’ve enjoyed other books by Kiersten Modglin, but this one wasn’t my favorite. The story was interesting enough, but the writing was repetitive and dragged the story out. The narrator was ok.
I would like to thank Dreamscape Media via NetGalley for the advanced audiobook in exchange for my honest review.

Thank you so much to Net galley and the publisher for sending me a copy of this book! I love Kiersten’s books and have pretty much read every one at this point! I didn’t think I was going to like this book but about 60% through I started becoming obsessed with this one!

This was a quick and mysterious read. The flow went smoothly and the characters were interesting. It really kept my interest to find out just what exactly was happening. Definitely worth the read!

Woah! What an ending!
Read this one in a day... And man the ending packed a punch! All I could think throughout the book was "this guy is a liar" and "why is she still around??" I couldn't stand the characters (which I'm sure was the point). Highly recommend if you need a quick good read!!

Not sure if I read too many books with horrible husband’s recently or what but I didn’t enjoy this one as much as I thought I would. unlikeable characters and the plot twists were just ok, nothing too exciting. Disappointing for as much good things as I have heard about this author.

Thank you NetGalley for an advanced Audiobook copy of, "Tell Me The Truth", by Kiersten Modglin. I have to be honest here and say that this was not one of my favorites by her. The book only seemed to get really good towards the end of the book.
In this book, we have a love triangle between Joe, Edith and Amma. Joe is living a double life and lying to both women. Joe lives with Amma and his daughter, Zoey, part time and with Edith the rest of the time. When he needs to transition from one home to the other, he uses the excuse that he is going to stay with and take care of his parents, which we come to find out, are dead. Unfortunately, Joe has both women pregnant at the same time.
Amma and Edith decide to beat Joe at his own game and come together to make him pay for what he has done to both of them. Joe ends up dead. And Amma and Edith are left to pick up the pieces for their individual families. Although they never become true friends, they do stay in touch and together they keep their secret about Joe's demise.

I could not get into this book, sorry. Trying to clean up my netgalley. Didn’t realize that I was forgetting to leave reviews on netgalley itself, My apologies.

This is a juicy domestic thriller that’s fast paced and entertaining. It’s about a woman that finds a picture of a woman on her husband’s phone. She is shattered, but that’s only the beginning. The more she digs, the more lies she finds.

This was a quick and easy read. Kiersten Modglin has a knack for twists. This wasn't my favorite of her, but nonetheless, it was still enjoyable. 3.5 rounded to 4

Edith's husband Joe has been known to lie in the past, so when she discovers photos of another woman on his phone, she knows she can't trust him. Overall I thought that this was a fast paced read that I was able to binge in one sitting, which I listened to on audio, and enjoyed the narrator too.
There were a few twists I enjoyed, and I need to go back and read more by this author now.
*many thanks to Dreamscape Media and Netgalley for the gifted copy for review

If you are looking for exciting fun ride this is it! I loved this book I loved watching the characters I loved how the story unfolds and the thriller twists at end. 5 stars

I just LOVE Kiersten Modglin!!!!! I devour every book she releases. Tell Me the Truth was really well done. The writing was fantastic and the story was fast-paced, full of twists and turns - just the way I like it! Never underestimate a woman who believes her husband is cheating! Juicy!
A BIG Thank you to NetGalley, the publisher and author for allowing me an audio copy of this book for my honest review.

I usually devour all things KM. However, This was not my fav KIersten Modgelin book. But I still enjoyed it. Lacking some character development.

This is one of my favorite authors so was so happy when I was able to listen to her latest! Edith is a wife trying to figure out her husbands secrets. Is the photo on his phone innocent or something that will break her world apart? The book is so good explaining how far she will go to learn the truth. Loved the twist and how it had me gripped to the end.

Mehhhh…
I was about 50% in before I realized this was written by Modglin. I loathed The Reunion and, not surprisingly, I ended up feeling close to the same way with this one. Here there was a bit of a stronger storyline, however, the eye-rolling end kinda cemented the low rating. This was short, but still completely repetitive. Edith was so lacking in even the most basic of common sense that I had a very hard rooting for her, or buying into her plight.
The only highlights for me were Dan, the main characters best friend, and the fact that it was super quick. Dan was a great character. I wish he’d been able to play a bigger role.
I listened to this on audio and while it wasn’t terrible, Devon Sorvari’s speech inflections didn’t match up in some places.
I’m 0/2 with Modglin’s novels, so I think its pretty safe to say her novels and I just don’t mesh. 2.5 stars.

I cannot get enough of KM’s books!! This is another thriller that I sped through listening, and I was not expecting that ending! I can’t wait to read the next one, thank you netgalley!

Wow this author can spin some crazy a$$ tales! Did I figure out part of it? Yes. Did I figure it out all of it. Nope. Not even close. I definitely will read all this author puts out.

Tell Me The Truth
By Kiersten Modglin
Kiersten did it again! Another enjoyable story that gripped me from the beginning & kept me guessing.
I have to tell you the truth, I really enjoyed this story!
Joe has been caught before cheating on Edith and now she has found photos on his phone that he claims he has no idea where they came from. Edith does a little digging and finds out who the mistress is and with the help of her best friend Dan figures it out.
I love Kierstens writing and her stories all seem to grip me and keep me on the edge of me seat.
Devin Sorvari is easy to listen to and adds to the story.
Thank you to NetGalley and Dreamscape audio for the advanced copy for my honest review.

3.5 stars
I'm always in the mood for a book by this author. I find them to be quick and engaging reads. Tell Me the Truth was no different. It was a slow burn with a ton of suspense that grew bigger and more intense as the plot progressed.
My only disappointment was the ending. Not so much how it ended but rather how the ending was presented. The audio version got very confusing. I got lost as to who was saying what during the crux. It was also confusing trying to comprehend exactly what was going on. Kind of like watching the climax of a movie only to have the sound or picture cut out. This plot needed a BIG EXPLOSIVE ending given the way it was written but because of the confusion, it lost its punch for me.

OMG my jaw is on the floor!! If you pick up a Kiersten Modglin book, you just know you'll be in for a wild ride! Tell Me the Truth was no different. Lies... mystery... that ending!! I could not stop listening to this audio book and audibly gasped through all the twists. The author had me doubting my own sanity throughout the entire story.
I can never get enough of Kiersten Modglin. GIVE ME MORE! :)
