Is Edith's husband gaslighting her.. It is she gaslighting herself??

I'm a HUGE fan of this author so I was stoked to be approved to listen to and review the audiobook. This wasn't her best book, by any means, but it was still good.

We begin the book by meeting Edith, who is married to Joe. Very unique names! 😂 Anyway, Joe has been unfaithful in the past and with found some pictures in his phone that make her think it is happening again.

He insists he's on the up and up, and that he's proven how sorry he was the last time he strayed. She can't decide if she's being paranoid or if he's just a smooth talker. She decides to do her own investigating and wow, if nothing else, this had a great twist and ending!

I enjoyed the portrayal of restaurant work. You really do become a little family, taking care of each other and dealing with jerks. I had flashbacks!

The breakout star of this book is Edith's best friend, Dan. Dan needs his own spin-off, maybe a series if Kiersten has time. Just throwing it out there!

This was a nice, quick read. I probably would've gone with another narrator but I got used to it. Also, this is random, but there was way too much belly patting and holding?? No idea what was up with that but I thought it was weird.

Thanks so much to NetGalley and Dreamscape media for the early audio copy to review!

Tell Me the Truth is the 3rd book I’ve read by this author. Another domestic thriller packed with short chapters and lots of twists. A quick read no doubt.

A huge thank you to the publisher and NetGalley for an audiobook copy of this one in exchange for my honest review. I enjoyed the narrator. She had me so I engaged that I didn’t want to stop listening. This was a solid 4 star read for me. Thank you to social media for putting this author on my radar. I highly recommend you do the same!

I was pretty excited for this book. While i thought it was good. I kind of wanted more from it. I thought it was going to go a different direction but that’s not where it went. I’m kind of glad it didn’t but still would have been nice. I absolutely loved the writing style and just how this authors books read like a lovely drama tv show. She never fails to amaze me with her books.

I received this for free from NetGalley on a read and review basis. All opinions are my own.

This is a story about a couple that has had some infidelity in their relationship. When the wife suspects her husband of cheating, again. He reacts innocently enough. The story takes on a similar storyline with an unreliable narrator as you are lead to believe she may have mental health issues or does she? I feel like this story line has been done again and again.

This novel was fast paced and I did enjoy it but it was just okay for me. I have to say I was a bit disappointed,

Such a good, quick read! I couldn’t figure out where the story was headed, which I liked!

The narration was very good! As with all audio books, the narrator can make or break the entire book. Just the right amount of emotion & a pleasant voice overall. Two thumbs up for this one!

Thank you so much to Dreamscape Media and NetGalley for letting me read/listen to this one in exchange for an honest review!!

If you’re looking for domestic fiction with never ending twists and turns, Kiersten Modglin *always* delivers. Edith suspects her husband Joe of cheating…. AGAIN. In the blink of an eye, she finds herself living a double life in her obsession to get to the bottom of things. The action started out full throttle and never let up right to the end— which I did not fully see coming. 😱Another winner for Kiersten Modglin, who has fast become a one click buy for me!
*Thanks to the author, Dreamscape Media and NetGalley for this advance audio copy.
