I was pleasantly surprised that Steven Banks was adding a 4th book in the Middle School Bites series, and thank you to NetGalley for the DRC! My daughter and I have been reading the series together since it was released, and we are both huge fans! The 4th installment didn't disappoint and highly recommend this series for Middle Schoolers who may want [or need] to try something other than DOWK. =)

This series continues to be good fun. Our hero is still engaging and deadpan, and all of his pals continue their winning ways. This time around the plot is more heavily directed to Tom's Zombie side, but the larger series story arc is advanced as well. I don't know how long this series can stay on course, but so far, it's still delivering some laughs, some twists, and some nice friendship moments.

Well this was another fantastic story in this series!! The characters are great, the story keeps getting more and more fun, and overall this was an exciting read! Middle grade readers are going to love it!
