🎧🎧AUDIOBOOK REVIEW🎧🎧

🎧 Jason Clarke & Stella Bloom did an outstanding job bringing this story to life. I read this ARC back in January and then listened to the audio and it was enough time in between that it felt fresh enough to make me giddy all over again LOL

📖 I absolutely loved London and Jackson. She was such a great sister. She devoted her time to their business despite it not being her dream job. Her love for her sisters is something to strive to achieve. The way she was spread thin was hard to read, but I loved the way she stood up for herself when the time came for it.

Now let’s talk about Jackson for a bit. I loved him from the beginning. He was charming and funny and was so infatuated with London. But the more time they spent together I could just feel he wasn’t completely honest with her. And here's where it got a bit tricky for me. When the whole truth blew up in his face, I was so angry with him. I could understand how he reasoned his actions but still… if this was real life and I was in her shoes I don’t think I could forget about it.

But fortunately, this is all fiction, and I could appreciate how the ending turned out. He did love her and wanted nothing more than to stand in her presence and let her shine.

Now I’m ready to see who will catch the eye of the youngest sister. I have a feeling Helena Hunting is saving the best for last.

Starry-Eyed Love by Helena Hunting is absolutely charming. I unintentionally started this series on the second book, but it did not deter the story any. London and Jackson are dynamic characters and watching their love story develop is a treat. London is a middle child, working with her sisters running their family hotel but crafting is her passion. Jackson is a multimillionaire CEO that partners with Sparks House's green initiative. They spend months "not dating" while their businesses are entwined but when they are free of those entanglements the past comes back to create problems that might just take the couple under. I enjoyed this story and the characters so much I went back to the beginning of the series.

Thank you @Netgalley and @HelenaHunting for the ARC.

It was so fun to be back in this series that I’ve been really enjoying!

I love how much variety Helena Hunting can offer through her writing, and it’s fun to read her romcom side.

These sisters have been so much fun to get to know. This book is all about the momentum, it was a bit slow to start, but once it got going I found myself enjoying it quite a bit. I loved the balance of small-town girl meets big city guy!

I’ll read anything Helena Hunting writes, but this one didn’t stand out to me.

Narration: Jason Clarke and Stella Bloom are fantastic as always.

Thanks to Macmillan Audio and NetGalley for my chance to review.

a delightful romance novel that combines love, family, and the power of second chances. Set in the mesmerizing world of the Spark House, this book takes readers on a journey filled with passion, unexpected twists, and heartfelt moments. Helena has a remarkable talent for crafting well-rounded characters, and Starry-Eyed Love is no exception. London is a relatable and strong-willed protagonist who finds herself torn between her love for the Spark House and her growing affection for Jackson. Jackson, on the other hand, is a complex character with layers of vulnerability that slowly unravel throughout the story. One of the highlights of this book is the author's ability to create a palpable sense of chemistry between the main characters. The romance between London and Jackson is filled with sizzling tension and tender moments, making their love story truly irresistible. In addition to the captivating plot, the audiobook narration by Jason Clarke and Stella Bloom adds an extra layer of depth and emotion. Both narrators beautifully capture the essence of the characters, bringing their voices to life and immersing listeners into the story.

I usually enjoy Helena Hunting's books, but this one was a huge miss for me. There was so much business/work crap in here that I feel like I could go out and start my own event hotel. I just wanted to fast forward to the parts where the characters were actually interacting and doing interesting things, but there just wasn't that much of that in this book.

This book is like a fresh of fresh air. As someone who reads a lot of grumpy sunshine or enemies to lovers, I really appreciated Jackson and London being the completely other end of the spectrum, I really loved this audiobook and the continuation in the series. I just feel like everything from the banter to the POV's inside this book was like a warm hug. I adored this book.

Romance was a little slow paced and I got lost in a lot of the business talk. I like a slow burn, but it was just lacking a little for me

In the second of three Spark House books, recently dumped London is in no mood for Jackson's advances. When the two cross paths later - his company looking to partner with her family's event hotel, London and Jackson's working relationship blossoms into something more.

I like this series by Helena Hunting, and although, I liked Avery's story a bit more than London's, I really enjoyed the audiobook!

The ending, compared to the rest of the book, was not very good. Oh such a horrific problem that your smokin hot billionaire boyfriend has some whiny friend with benefit ticked he dropped her. Didn't seem very realistic that she was so upset. Especially since the friend w/ benefit ended up with the guy's bff

I did like this book better than the first one and I am glad that I read it and didn’t just go off of my feelings for the first book. This one felt more developed and was written better than the first one in my opinion. I loved the characters and I thought Jackson and London worked well together as a couple. Lots of well developed chemistry and a feeling of ‘fatefulness’ when it comes to their romance. I just wish some of the business parts were removed or condensed to allow for better flow of the story. If you love romances then I think you will find a lot to love in this one, a charming destiny plot, some steam, and two well matched characters

3.5 This was a cute contemporary romance that I flew through in one day. This book follows London the middle sister of the Spark sisters. Three sisters that run a inn with a ceremony space. When a media mogul Jackson who wants to help the Spark sisters inn more influence. He agrees to help the sisters but feelings soon begin to develop.

This was a cute romance novel but was kind of similar to other books coming out. It was a cute fun novel but I don’t see this one sticking with me. I was also not a huge fan of the sisters relationships and felt that they disliked what they did so much that they should just sell the place. I listened to the audiobook and the narrators were ok. They were easy to understand but some of the voices the did for some of the characters were a little off putting. I would like to thank Netgalley and the publishers for a chance to read this book for an honest review.

The audio book was a smooth listen and I enjoyed the listen. The narrators (Jason Clarke and Stella Bloom) were great and the listening was smooth. They made sure you were able to feel all the emotions.

The story has laughs, secrets, heartbreak. This story is about London and Jackson. They have great chemistry and the story flowed well. When Jackson hits on her she blows him off. Now months later she is trying to land a deal and he is at the company. Now they have to work together. Can they figure out the dynamic between them before they both end up falling or will they fall for each other no matter what? Can they build something when she was not really looking for something?

I recommend this book.

I was excited to read the second book and continue on with the Spark sisters, after loving the first in the series, When Sparks Fly.

The romance between London and Jackson was so good and I loved their dynamic.

I would recommend the narrators, Jason Clarke and Stella Bloom, and hope to listen to more audiobooks by them in the future.

*many thanks to St Martins Press and Macmillan Audio and for the gifted copy for review

Starry-Eyed Love is the second book in the Spark House series, When the Sparks Fly. I think you should read them in order just to get the family connection and fall in love with the three sisters like I did. There is even a their one coming out soon. I listened to this book in less than a day and loved the narrators Jason Clarke and Stella Bloom, who are talented storytellers and adding the perfect emotions in their voices at the exact needed time.

This is mainly about London and Jackson's encounter and business relationship turn into possible love. The building of feelings made me cheering on the sidelines for the spark to finally ignite.

Thank you so much NetGalley and Macmillan Audio for allowing me to listen to this great book for an honest review.

This is an auto buy author for me. I am loving this series. I love London! The steam between her and Jackson was so perfect. I love the friendship between the sisters. I cannot wait to read the next one. Thank you to NetGalley and Macmillan Audio for an arc in exchange for my honest review.

I was super excited for Starry-Eyed Love as it continues the Spark sister’s story. This book focuses on London when she meets Jackson at a bar and she turns him down. Little does she know when she attends a meeting for a potential partnership, Jackson is the CEO. Their chemistry was amazing even when trying to keep it professional while working together! I cannot wait for the 3rd book to be released.

Starry Eyed Love is book #2 to When Sparks Fly and I really enjoyed that one so naturally I was excited to continue following the Sparks sisters to London’s story. Though this is a series, I felt like this can easily be read as a standalone. There was a lot to love about this book – the romance between London and Jackson’s blossoming relationship and also the sisterhood dynamic between the Sparks sisters. I loved how genuine the romance between Jackson and London felt. It was nice to see them take the time to get to know each other while trying their best to ignore the obvious attraction between them. This book has a little something for everyone to adore. It was full of charm, easy plot to follow, and the perfect balance of drama.

If you have read both books in the series, did Avery seem more grumpy in this book? But anywho, I can’t wait to get to know the 3rd Sparks sister, Harley.

I was so excited to return to Spark House; Colorado and the Spark sisters. London was enjoyable and I really thought would be my favorite. However the billionaire love interest is one of my least favorite. Mostly because the romance then becomes more escapism. I loved Avery’s book last year but she was quite annoying in this one. HH is wonderful when it comes to chemistry and I loved London and Jackson. Even if it wasn’t my favorite HH book, I’d still recommend it! I think book #3 will be my favorite!
