Jason Clarke and Stella Bloom did an amazing job of narrating this book! I'm loving this series and can't wait for the next book. Starry-Eyed Love by Helena Hunting is an EPIC audiobook that will join the ranks of the BIBLIO-ARISTOCRACY!!!

I received an arc of this title from NetGalley for an honest review. Audiobooks have so much to do with the narrator, and I did not like the narrator of this book it distracted me from the book, and therefore I did not finish the book. Maybe I will try again when it comes out in print.

I have read all of Helena Hunting’s work, but I have not enjoyed either book in this series, although for different reasons. In the first book, I hated Avery. This was confirmed in this book as well. Still hate her. But in book 2, I didn’t feel the chemistry between the two characters. This has never been a problem with HH characters; I always feel the heat.

I didn’t care for the miscommunication/lack of details over Selene, and felt London was overreacting and immature about the situation. This had me rolling my eyes quite a bit.

I think I’m ready to say goodbye to the Sparks sisters and just await HH next series/stand-alone.

I received an advanced audio and digital copy. All thoughts are my own.

I didn't love London's character in Spark House book 1 but I decided to give this story a try because I really did adore her sisters and the life they'd created and the bond they shared. I found London to be so much more tollerable in Starry-Eyed Love, really growing on me over the course of the read. I found the slow burn romance between her and the MMC to be quite believable and super sweet. They clearly had chemistry and were trying their hardest to hold back while they maintained a professional relationship. His CEO status and bazillion dollar empire never really effected their authentic feelings for one another, which I appreciated.

The deep dive into the innerworkings of Spark House gave a greater understanding of exactly how much pressure the 3 sisters were under and I quite liked it when things finally boiled over and feelings were hurt. Harley and London had let Avery run the show and walk all over them for too long! It was nice to see them finally stand up for what THEY needed/wanted!

The plot twist was a little weak and the 3rd act break up was pretty ridiculous. But I did love the fact that for once, it really wasnt either MC who had to do some groveling (no spoilers, sorry!). The end of the book redeemed itself and I was so happy for a HEA. Now lets get to Harley's story because I cannot wait to see her get her HEA!

I listened to this book on audio and found both narrators to be good. At times, it was difficult to listen to the female narrator portray the male voices but I found a way to deal with it. The male narrator was superb!

Helena Hunting’s stories always make me smile! Jackson and London’s story was no different! I was happy to return to the ladies from When Sparks Fly. London is excited to bring her family’s event hotel to the next level, and was surprised when she found that the handsome man that she met recently was actually Jackson, a powerful CEO. Despite the common trope, this was enjoyable and fun!

I loved this book so much. This is the second book in the Spark House series. This book was just as good as the first one! Helena Hunting is my go to author whenever I am looking for a good romance to read. I seriously love all her books.

I love the billionaire romance trope in this book. I haven’t read many from that trope, but it was so good! I enjoyed the romance between London and Jackson. It felt very real and believable. It is a slow burn romance, but it picks up in the end! I also really liked the bond between the sisters in this book. It reminded me of my own sisters. Overall, I thought it was such a good book and I loved continuing the series. If you’re looking for just a good and easy romance book to read, I highly recommend checking this series out!

Thank you Netgalley for the eARC in exchange for an honest review.

I definitely like this one more than book 1, and it gave me total Shacking Up Series vibes. Which was kismet, because we get a guest appearance from the Mills boys! I loved that. I enjoyed the relationship between London & Jackson. This was a sloooow burn and I kind of wanted to shake both of them, but they finally got there! This was a cute read and I'm glad I got the audiobook. The narration was great!

I was so ready for this sequel, y’all. I fell in love with this series when I read When Sparks Fly last year. I love this sister group: they are so fun and I love banter with each other. Now you throw in a drool-worthy billionaire and I was hooked. This is definitely an escapist read as what girl doesn’t want a hunky billionaire to whisk her off in his private jet in NYC and give her the royal treatment with spa sessions, a glam squad, and jewelry and a ballgown?!

I loved Jackson and London. I mean, they flirted in a Google Doc, how friggin adorable! I loved the banter, flirting, and the steamy bits.

I appreciated that we got more interaction/conflict within the sisters, too.

Narration: fantastic. Three cheers for dual narration in a dual POV romance. Stella Bloom and Jason Clark breathed life into these characters.

Recommended if you love:
-sister stories
-billionaire romances
-charcuterie boards
-event planning/hospitality industries
-family businesses
-estate sales
-NYC/Colorado settings

Thanks to NetGalley and Macmillian Audio for my ALC copy. Starry-Eyed Love is out now!

Can’t wait for book three…

4.25⭐
Book 2 of the Spark House trilogy follows London and Jackson.

London is in charge of business planning at the Spark House. When she gets a call to meet with Holt Media the sisters are thrilled for the opportunity to bring more business to the hotel. She wasn't expecting the owner of the company, Jackson, to be the man that she declined a date with 3 months prior.

Jackson is a self made billionaire and owner of Holt Media. He's mostly down to earth and not overly billionaire~ish, expect he does frequent his private jet back and forth from NY to CO a little too much for someone who's into being green.

I always enjoy the dual POV writing. London and Jackson were both lovable characters. And I really liked that London also has a side business on Etsy. Although she's fully committed to being in business with her sisters she doesn't want it to fully engulf her life and be 24/7. Which is understandable since she has a hottie she can't get enough of. Side bar ~ Avery was awful in this one, I definitely enjoyed her more in her own story.

We dive more into the hotel in this one, than we did in book 1, which was nice. It's a slow burn romance since they had a working relationship for a few months before they gave into their temptations. I liked that they didn't want to muddy the waters.

I listened to this one back to back with book 1 with the same narrators. Although Jason Clarke & Stella Bloom did a fine job again, I do wish there were a different set of narrators since these were different characters.

I am really looking forward to the final book Make a Wish, Harley's story, but I am sad I will have to wait until January 2023! for it's release.

Super cute. I have not read much by this author, but I enjoyed this cute little romance story. Lighthearted and a quick read.

I didn't realize this book was in a series and started here. I didn't adore this one as much as previous Helena Hunting books I've read, which was a pretty big let down. The title, cover and synopsis had me hooked, but I just didn't feel the starry-eyed spark, if I'm being honest. Maybe I wanted too much from it?

This could possibly have been a case of it's me, not the book. The slow burn, slow build up and anticipation might have lost me a bit, but. I didn't feel the raging chemistry from the main characters that I desperately wanted. The conflict in the book felt too cheesy and could have easily been solved with a simple conversation, so that lost a lot for me as well. I did enjoy the characters, they were sweet and lovable but I do think I got lost in the slow burn. Off to see if the other one in the series is better for me!

I really enjoyed When Sparks Fly so I was excited to continue following the Sparks girls journey when I saw this one was announced!

This had fun and entertaining work place romance trope and I throughly enjoyed London and Jackson’s chemistry!

One of my favourite things about series that change leads is that we get to continue following previous stories while getting an entirely new one at the same time. These sisters are all intriguing and it’s been nice diving into their relationship and watching the ever shifting dynamics of it.

I just saw that we’ll be getting a third Spark House novel in January starring Harley and I can’t wait!

This is such a cute story! I love Helena Hunting and the Spark House series. This family is so lovable. I went in pretty blind to this one just knowing I would enjoy it since Helena wrote it and I had enjoyed book one. This is sort of an office romance but mostly takes place at Spark House. We also have a billionaire element here too which you all know I am here for!

My absolute favorite part is their flirting on their shared Google Doc. Does this make me a nerd? Probably but I adore a color coated spreadsheet and could picture these scenes perfectly. I also enjoyed the event planning aspect of this book and how many different settings we get to see these two in. There is minimal steam in this one so if you are more of a plot over steam girl this could be the series for you. Their romance is definitely a sweet one.

I will absolutely continue to read this series - I have truly enjoyed it.

This was my first Helena Hunting book and I'm HOOKED. London has just broken up with her boyfriend, and when she’s out one night, someone tries to buy her a drink. While she declines, months later, Jackson Holt resurfaces. He is the CEO of a company that wants to partner with her company. Their relationship begins to progress as they spend more time together. But then some secrets from Jackson’s past arise and London begins to question everything! Absolutely loved these characters and their story.

London, admin for her family’s business has the opportunity to present to a multi million dollar company. Who is the CEO other than the guy she turned down months ago, Jackson Holt. The partnership goes through and as they work closely it turns into more.

It was good. A cute and fun romance but I didn’t find anything that was super stand out or memorable. There’s a millionaire, banter, family drama that was a little irritating, misunderstandings, and an HEA.

I listened to the audiobook and give a thumbs up to the narrators. Thanks to Netgalley and The publishers for the audio arc.

This might be my favorite romance series. I love the characters so much. Plus their business is like another added layer to the story. I want to go to their inn and shop on London’s Etsy store. I can’t wait for the next book!!

Helena Hunting is very easily becoming one of my favorite authors.

Follow the Spark sisters once again this time with the main focus being London.

When out with her sisters one night the girls have their meal paid for by a stranger who compliments London and tries to slip her his number, against her sisters objections she turns him down. Months later while filling in for a meeting with a multi-million dollar company who should the CEO be but the man she turned down. As the two of them spend time together they realize that there are a lot of feelings there but they don't want that to get in the way of their business deal. As time goes on lines get blurred and London needs to decide if she is going to stand up for herself to her sisters or continue to let her life be held back by the company as all of them drowned with workloads.

What I love about this book is that the relationship never felt rushed or pushed in any way, it feels very natural in its progression even if things happen quickly. London is a character who just feels so overwhelmed with work and that fact that it has taken over all aspects of her life to the point she no longer has one; so when a man who genuinely likes her for her comes along why wouldn't she fall for him.

What I love most about this series is that while it is a Rom-Com it is also about the relationship of the Spark sisters and them trying to keep their family business running and even expanding. These are strong, accomplished women who deal with real-world struggles and where the relationship is not everything about them but rather a part of their life.

I adore the Sparks sisters! These are such sweet books, and I’m always a sucker for a good sister story. I really enjoyed getting to know London and her love interest. While there is some drama, it was overall a sweet book full of love that I would highly recommend!
