I enjoyed the overall plot of this book and the idea of two women who decide to show the world the truth behind a man's public facade but while I found their collaboration believable I did not buy the two of them becoming romantic partners
I adored this book!! I loved it more than I thought I would. I first read it as an ebook but then I HAD to listen to the audiobook - it was just as good the second time!
I loved the characters, the story, the change from enemies to friends to lovers, the writing... everything!
Highly recommend!
TSwift lyrics as a book title, sign me up!
This was absolutely adorable! I love a good YA but adult romance novel and this one fit the bill. A reality tv show? GIVE ME MORE!
SO much drama and I loved the concept of the reality show in the book. This was a treat from start to finish!

This was a super cute romance between two girls who are contestants on a bachelor-type tv-show. I did want a bit more of a "John Tucker Must Die" vibe (i.e. for the main guy to get taken down, and taken down hard), but what happened was actually much nicer and I'm just personally a vindictive little shit. The situation in general was a little ridiculous and over-the-top, but it was honestly a super fun, quick read!
we also love any book that references taylor swift... especially when that book's queer ;)
I absolutely flew through this fun adventure of a book. While I'm not a big reality TV person and probably wouldn't watch the show this book is about if it was real, I have been addicted to The Traitors recently, and this book was a great accompaniment to help scratch that itch.
The dual POV worked really well for this book, I'm glad we got to learn about Maya and Skye's experiences and reasons for going on the show from each of their point of views, and the relationship that formed between them was a lot of fun. I love a dynamic that's built on teaming up for revenge!
Overall it was a fun, fast read and I'm definitely looking forward to picking up more of Sophie Gonzales's work
I liked this YA book. I liked the romance and the tiny bit of a love triangle. I also love that the title is based on a Taylor swift song and there were some Taylor swift references. I would recommend this book to others.
Maya and Skye have been invited to be on a reality show about second chance Romance. Jordy is now famous because his sister married into a royal family of a small European country. Maya is mad at Jordy for cheating on her. Plus, she's mad at Skye for unknowingly cheating. They become roommates for the show. There is some definite hatred between the two girls. When Maya shows proof of the cheating to Skye. Skye sees that Jordy is a dirt bag. They decide to get revenge and become friends. They want to try to break Jordy's heart. Then as the show progresses, things between the girls also heats up. 😉
This was a fun twist on enemies to lovers. I listened to the audiobook and really enjoyed the narrators and the story. This book was very entertaining.
Oh my gosh, this was such an adorable book! Maya’s ex boyfriend cheated on her, and he wants her to come on to a reality dating show to try and win him back. You know it’s going to be a great book!! This book made you feel all the emotions. It was funny, sweet and tender. I thought the characters in this book were so great, I couldn’t get enough of them. If you haven’t read this one yet, I highly recommend it!
I was hopping around trying to find something new and interesting. I’m ashamed I let this one sit so long because once I got started I couldn’t put it down!
Such a fun and entertaining read. I adored the twist and obviously it’s never a bad time for a revenge plot to turn romantic.
Nothing can go wrong with this many strong female characters heading up the crusade!
Overall this was a fun and quirky read. Definitely more entertaining than I expected and plenty of awww inducing moments with some heck yes thrown in for effect
I loved the bachelor/bachelorette vibes and the LGBTQ+ representation. I think the hate to friends to love could have been drawn out a little more but it was still entertaining!
This was an enjoyable, light-hearted read. Nothing earth-shattering, but overall a really fun time! The premise is unique and intriguing, especially for someone like me who lives for new seasons of Love Is Blind and the like.

This was a cute YA read! My first by this author, I really loved the original premise of the plot and the reality TV tie in is what made me want to read it in the first place. I did find that some of the character development wasn’t quite as strong as I was hoping in some places, but overall it kept me entertained and wanting to know what happened next. Thank you, NetGalley, for the ARC!
I wanted to love this book SO badly but a lot of things just felt short for me. I can suspend my disbelief quite a bit, especially in the YA sphere, but the premise of the book fell flat. It didn't feel like this book should be young adult--the reality show of it all didn't fit the idea of teenagers, for me. The premise also forced the characters to fall into the "not like other girls" trap a little bit, and I'm simply not a fan of pitting women against each other for the attention of a man. The romance felt a little stilted, and just overall, I didn't enjoy this nearly as much as I was trying to make myself enjoy it.
This was my first book by this author, but I LOVED this story! The characters and banter were phenomenal. I also loved the reality show aspect.
the storyline is why i picked up the book in the first place! I just wish the book was a bit on the smutty side but other than that a solid book!

my main dislike with this book was its plot and characters. the whole plot with the characters on a reality dating show felt unrealistic and not entertaining, mixed in with the fact that i found the majority of the characters unlikable, and my experience with this book was not great. i found the main characters, Maya and Skye, uninteresting and petty, and i never totally felt the connection between the two of them.
This fresh and exciting new queer young adult novel takes the familiar trope of reality show romance in adult romance but with a teen twist. The main character, a bisexual girl, is funny, flawed, and bold. Very romantic and a great YA rom-com.
This is such a great send-up of reality TV and the editing behind-the-scenes to create the story the producers concoct and want to tell. Also a really fun romance.
I love everything that Sophie Gonzales writes. This was a super fun concept and I love the twist on the reality show dating premise. There was a little bit of drama that I found annoying but I love the way the characters got to know each other and how their relationship developed.
Thank you, Sophie Gonzales and Wednesday Books, for letting me read this one.
A bachelor-style reality show setting & all the girls are the exes of the bachelor hiping to get a second chance. That's what he thinks anyway. A great villain, great relationships, and supporting characters were amazing. Bi-sexual and gay representations are also included.
I had a great time with this rom-com. The banter and the inner thought monologs were entertaining & there was more com than rom.
