Court of the Vampire Queen is an ultra spicy paranormal romance that blends a lot of various lore together. Our heroine, Mina, starts out on the weak side, but with the help of her men, that changes! The guys are all very different and I always appreciate that in a harem.
Apparently, this was a serial that has now been combined into one book. But, the book is mostly vampire erotica, so it wouldn't have been tough cliffhangers or anything. There is a little plot and character development (Mina for sure). Overall, I thought it was a unique and interesting take on the classic vampire lore, but lets be real-its vampire smut for sure. If you love Katee Robert, this is gonna be a book you want (and probably already have preordered).

Please pay attention to the content warnings at the beginning of this book!
Katee Robert is one of my auto-buy authors (I've pre-ordered a copy of this one), and honestly she just keeps giving gold. This was dark. It was sexy. It was a lil bit romantic even. I adored the main characters and found the storyline to be compelling. Katee Robert has a way of ensuring that there is a storyline that keeps readers hooked even if the story is not necessarily why we're here that I really appreciate. I wholeheartedly recommend this one.

Katee Robert + vampires…you do the math. This is wild and crazy and even romantic in its way. Beside all the adult shenanigans, there is a story here. Mina must get out from under her father’s tyrannical rule. Malachi Zion and is the vampire to help her. He and his companions help Mina discover her power and overthrow her father.
*Special thanks to NetGalley and Sourcebooks Casablanca for this e-arc.*

Sexy, elaborate, and taboo. Just like a wonderful Katee Robert book! I'm so glad this was bundled together.

4 Court of the Vampire Queen Stars🌟
Court of the Vampire Queen is a new story in what I assume is a new paranormal series by Katee❣️Mina is half-human and half-vampire, with no powers of which to speak. She suddenly finds herself being given to a ruthless vampire…but it soon appears that nothing is as it seems…and as the weeks progress, so too increase the amount of vampires in her life😉
This book definitely has some intriguing ideas behind the different types of vampire bloodlines and the characters themselves were intriguing and complex and certainly touched on what one would expect of vampires that had lived for millennia and what their interests would be, namely blood and s3x😈 I also liked how the final chapter gives us an idea of what this author is looking to write next…and I’m hoping Grace will make an appearance😁
I received an advanced copy via Netgalley and voluntarily leave my honest review❤️

We all know that Katee Robert is to go authors for smut reads. And this book proves it once again why she is always so looked up.
An uncomplicated read overall, where a half human half vampire woman gets lured into a darker world by vampires. The chemistry is instantly felt and what follows is lots of steamy moments and delves into the love triangle trope.
While they are on the run after her father and his coven tried to kill them, she is the next heir to his kingdom. Some say that this is like Twilight’s stories, but I differ and say that it is way better in ways that I didn’t even know I needed my spicy books.
Read if you like vampires, sexy scenes that will ignite your kindle and are in for kinds of smut plots.
🆓📖Very grateful to the publisher for my review copy

I was so prepared to love this one as much as Dark Olympus, and I didn't hate it, but this one was more sex than storyline. I thought I'd love that haha but this time it felt a little forced. I estimate 64,000 orgasms were had over the course of this story 😂 Like, I get it, they're vampires and have stamina for days lol but I was getting sore just thinking about having sex with multiple men approximately 20 times a day 😅
Anyway haha I bet this is right up other people's alley, and like I said, it wasn't bad at all, just different to Dark Olympus which is all I've read from Katee so far. Definitely won't stop me picking up more from her!

It's giving SMUT! My first time reading Katee Robert was an experience I won't forget. Court of the Vampire Queen is a paranormal romance reader's dream and then some.
Mina is a dhampir, half-human, and half-vampire. Her father is one of the most powerful bloodline vampires and no one dares to cross him. He doesn't see Mina as a daughter but more as an object that could serve a purpose. After he believes that she has nothing special about her, he sends her off to another bloodline vampire, Malachi. Mina always knew that this would happen but she will fight for her freedom every step of the way.
When she meets Malachi, she is terrified and intrigued. Should she be feeling this attracted to a vampire that made a deal with her father? She fights him on everything but is taken aback when he begins to give her choices. Yes, he uses her for blood but he always asks for consent. What does she think of it? Is he doing this to toy with her or is he just different than everyone assumes?
It's really hard for Malachi and Mina to give themselves fully to one another but once they do you won't be able to pull them apart. And things get more intense when you add in two more bloodline vampires, Wolf and Rylan. In the beginning, Mina is a bit naive and inexperienced, and now she is in a relationship with three vampires. She never expected this and yet all four of them are in sync.
There are so many steamy scenes that left me with my mouth wide open. And I loved it. I'm here for the smut. There was also a wonderful story to tell. Mina is a young dhampir blossoming and finding her place in life. She was fighting for freedom from her father for so long and now that she is happy she is fighting to protect the ones she loves most. There are a few bumps in the road that seem like an uphill battle but you know Malachi, Wolf, and Rylan will do whatever it takes to keep their little dhampir safe. The entire book really flowed and the ending is super satisfying.
I give Court of the Vampire Queen 4 stars. I have been wanting to read a Katee Robert book for so long and I was in for a steamy treat. If you enjoy smut, paranormal romance, and a bit of drama, you are gonna want to get your hands on this book!

I had these on my TBR for a while when they were previously self-published as the Bloodline Vampires novella series. So of course I jumped at the chance to read an ARC of the books released in one volume. This is pure Katee Robert, but it reminds me more of her Touch of Taboo series than her newer Dark Olympus books.
Mina is a dhampir (half-vampire, half-human) but unlike her half-siblings, she hasn’t inherited any of her vampire father’s power. Bloodline vampires like him have specific powers like the ability to control fire or shapeshift. Her only use is as a sacrifice to Malachi, a bloodline vampire he has under his thumb. But after their initial encounter, Malachi is nothing like what she expected. And with his help, Mina might be able to win them both the freedom she desperately dreams of.
“I am a pawn in other peoples’ power games, destined to be moved from one side of the board to the other without any agency of my own.”
For a book that starts with a definitely dubcon encounter, one of the main themes revolves around choice. Most of Mina’s life has consisted of survival, always the weakest and most disposable in the room. Her only worth to her father was being the vampire version of Doordash for Malachi. Initially she’s convinced that Malachi’s attempts to give her choices are nothing but a ploy, though she can’t figure out what his endgame is. But she soon realizes he’s as much a prisoner as she is. As Mina and Malachi become entangled with two other bloodline vampires, Wolf and Rylan, the choices get harder and the consequences get worse. Mina has to decide what she’s willing to sacrifice to meet her goals, and whether those goals have changed.
“It’s so much easier when you don’t have a choice, and Malachi insists on giving me one, over and over again. I kind of hate him for it. I kind of love him for it, too.”
You know the AO3 tag “plot what plot?”? It’s not quite that, but there’s some pretty big plot holes, as well as deus (demon?) ex machina. I mean, it’s hard to have a lot of tension in a book when the end game is right in the title. What the book really focuses on is the relationships between the four of them. To be clear, a lot of that relationship building is done through sex, lots of steamy sex, in every combination they can imagine. At the start of the book, Mina is could be most kindly described as naive and terrified, but she has a spark of bravery that first Malachi and then the others bring out in her in very different ways. Each of the vampires has history between them, history that Mina’s inadvertently stepped into and has to learn to deal with quickly. Malachi’s protective and somewhat sweet, and it’s obvious he falls hard for her from nearly their first meeting. He’s a steady, strong and a source of stability for her as the rest of her life keeps changing. Wolf’s a loose chaos-spewing cannon, the vampire equivalent of the kind of person who starts (often violent) drama and then grabs the popcorn. And Rylan’s the oldest vampire of the group, standoff-ish and cynical but secretly terrified to accept the relationship the other three are offering. With four very different personalities, getting the polyam romance to work for all of them is something Mina struggles with.
As for cons, since this book was originally three novellas, there’s several instances of repeated information between the books. I wish this had been rewritten (or just edited a bit) as it was jarring to be reintroduced to the characters and plot points over and over. The passage of time also felt a bit off. For instance, It’s mentioned in passing that’s it weeks later, but nothing has measurably changed in terms of plot or relationship to even indicate that. The vampire’s powers also were confusing to me, as they’d suddenly use them in a new or different way for no discernible reason.
Overall, I’d give this 3.5 stars. It’s an enjoyable and steamy read but not quite as good to me as her other work.
I received an advance review copy of this book from NetGalley. This does not affect my opinion of the book or the content of my review.

I haven't been reading a paranormal romance featuring vampires in a long time and this is a good one. I'm not a fan of steamy plot but I liked the characters and the world building.
It's an entertaining and well plotted story and I rooted for MIna, a very interesting character.
Recommended.
Many thanks to the publisher and Netgalley for this ARC, all opinions are mine

A steamy vampire romance book!
As always, Katee Robert writes good smut with a plot. This book combines all three books of her Bloodline Vampire series, divided into acts in this book.
This book is seriously sexy. The number of open-door scenes between some or all characters will delight anyone who enjoys reading smut. That said, there’s still enough plot in this book to keep you invested, and the world-building is done simply but works well into the characters’ development. I like the four characters in this book, and I’m sympathetic to their feelings and issues, especially Mina’s. You can’t help but root for a character who has grown up feeling like a pawn since birth.
Please check out content warnings before starting this book, as this is not a wholesome romance book that fits everyone’s tastes.
Thank you, NetGalley and Sourcebooks Casablanca, for the e-ARC.

Thanks to the publisher & Netgalley for the complimentary ARC. All opinions provided are my own.
I think this is the steamiest vampire romance I’ve ever read?
Imagine if you took a Kresley Cole’s Immortals After Dark vampire book, took out a bit of the worldbuilding intricacy & then added maybe 32 sex scenes (I’m exaggerating here )—then you might have Katee Robert’s Court of the Vampire Queen.
A poly MMMF romance between one half vampire, half human (a dhampir) & three stunning vampire men, COTVQ is stunningly, fantastically steamy & also makes frequent use of the bite = near orgasmic pleasure motif that can really sell a vampire romance for me .
This book kicks off when dhampir Mina is given against her will to vampire Malachi, who hasn’t been able to leave his home in decades. She’s supposed to feed him & bed him, but he stuns her by setting some boundaries & being clear that he wants her consent & her to actually desire him before they proceed any farther sexually.
Then the other vampires start showing up at his home one by one & things really get interesting.
Not only is the steam in this one winning, so are each of the different personalities & Mina’s varying relationships with each vampire. I love how Katee Robert shows that they get something unique from each other person but how they have something special as a whole.
Be aware, there are lots of content warnings for this one that Katee Robert includes in a list at the beginning & a few repetitious moments. (I thought I saw somewhere that this work was maybe published some other way & now it’s being republished but I haven’t been able to find that note again so ).
But there’s so much steam (have I mentioned that yet ;) ), an interesting relationship arc as they all find out how to navigate this new relationship, & this fabulous sense of drama & atmosphere. In short, it’s really fun, very bloody, & freaking hot.
4.5⭐️. Out 09/06.
CWs: She’s bitten without her consent. She sees men trying to drug her drink and then shortly after helps those men get murdered to feed her lovers. Violence. Murder. Lots of other CWs—I would suggest checking out the author’s list.

This delivered what it advertises on the tin extremely well. It's a spicy vampire romance with compelling characters and impressive writing, especially within the context of the book. It was a quick and enjoyable read, and lived up to my expectations fully!

I received a copy of the ARC in exchange for an honest review. Another fantastic masterpiece for Robert! I have adored her writing and this new entry into her repertoire is a beaming addition of awesomeness! I urge anyone who loves a little steam and a little vampire love agony story to pick this up asap!!

A dark and spicy MMMF vampire fantasy, with magic, mystery, secrets and a whole lot of steam. This is not my first Katee Robert book and it certainly won't be the last. I would definitely say this book is character driven, the plot was good, when it showed its face, not the best...but the romance and spice was definitely more prevalant. There was A LOT OF SEX!
I always enjoy a reverse Harem, but this one was slightly different, in that the men also had intertwining history, romance and chemistry, which made the spice a whole lot of fun to read and the dynamics of the group interesting to see how they developed over time.
I do love a vampire novel and these vampires had bloodlines and magic linked to them through the bloodlines. Other beings were mentioned along the way: demons, Seraphs, werewolves etc. I wouldn't say there was anything particularly new or revolutionary the world building of the vampires. I do have questions though: How are vampires always so rich and prepared for everything? I need to research this.
There weren't really any characters in particular that I wanted to kill off, which is unusual for me. I like a good villain I can hate. I think it would have been more compelling if we had snippets of the past being shown (doesn't even have to graphic) it was alluded to and we were told by the min charcter why we should feel this way. But I always feel that seeing some of these actions for ourselves gives us as the reader, more emotion and anger towards these characters.
I was a little annoyed when information as had just read kept getting repeated between the acts, as if I hadn't just read act 1 and knew all the information the main character is now narrating and self monologuing. But then it happens again in Act 3? Was this three books that were previously separated and now put together as one? I am confused, will need to research this!
I'm intrigued to see where this will go with more books in the future, I hope this isn't a standalone?! 😱😂 but I'm hoping the angst is turned up a little and there is more focus on the plot....I really hope I have a villain(s) that I am rooting to end brutally 🤗 if you know what I mean.
I'd recommend if you like vampires, magic, dark spicy books and reverse harem with some spice between the men as well 😉
A few tropes in here: enemies to lovers, forced proximity, broody males...etc.
Trigger warnings at the beginning of the book stated: blood play, dubious concent, patricide, pregnancy, blood, gore, murder, explicit sex, vomiting (pregnancy), discussion of abortion, abusive parent (father, historical, off page), attempted sexual assault (alluded to, non-graphic), and attempted drugging.

** Thank you to NetGalley, Katee Robert, and Sourcebooks Casablanca for this ARC. Court of the Vampire Queen will be released on September 6th, 2022. **
As other reviewers have said, this book was porn with minimal plot, but I love to read that from time to time. Sex was the narrative thread that held the story and characters together and sex was what drove the character arcs. It’s probably about 70% smut and 30% plot, and the plot doesn’t really happen until much later in the book. But Katee Robert is queen of writing smut so it works better than most other books I’ve read with a similar ratio of smut to plot.
Mina is the powerless half-human/half-vampire daughter of a powerful and evil vampire lord. The book opens with Mina sent as a blood sacrifice to a vampire named Malachi, who she is to serve in whatever way he wants. Predictably, they have sex and fall in love, and she also meets two of his close friends. A reverse harem ensues and the four of them form a relationship and go about trying to overthrow Mina’s father.
If I was rating this book just on the plot alone, it would probably be a 2.5 star read; the plot was predictable, inconsistent at times, and pretty bare bones. If I was rating this book just on the smut, it would deserve a solid 4 stars. The only reason why I can’t give the smut 5 stars is because it involved some kinks that are not my cup of tea (breeding and pregnancy). Because most readers will pick up this book for the smut and only have a passing interest in the plot I’m giving it a four star rating. If you enjoy vampires, blood play, reluctant consent, breeding, and pregnancy then this would probably be a solid five star smutty read for you!

Thanks to Netgalley and Sourcebooks for the ARC of this!
I had already read the individual books and thought at the time they could’ve been one longer book - so I was excited to see this bind up coming out. This was very fun and I love the history that the vampires have with each other, even if Mina is on the receiving end of some Insta-love/lust, their backstory helps round that out some. There were a few places that I think could’ve been edited when binding them up (to eliminate some of the recap lines that authors put in sequels they expect you to be reading a year apart instead of later that afternoon) but overall, I think this definitely makes more sense as one longer book. I had a lot of fun rereading, and I liked seeing the nods to Azazel and his story arc sprinkled through this one

Mina is half vampire, born to one of the vampires descending from the 7 original bloodlines, but as she has no magical powers, is of little use to anyone except as a womb to bear an heir to her father's empire. When she is ordered to the doorstep of another bloodline descended and starving vampire that her father has imprisoned for the last hundred years, she is sure that her death is near.
This insanely spicy and sexy reverse harem was everything I've come to love about Katee Robert! There is never a dull moment, and I neglected every person and chore in my house to keep reading 'just one more page'. In general I'm not a vampire fan, but this book made me back into a believer.
Make sure to read trigger warnings as there are a few, but if you're a fan of Katee Robert's brand of erotica, you're sure to love this one!
Thank you to Sourcebooks Casablanca for providing me with an ARC of this book.

This was my first ever "why choose" romance and while I think it showed me that maybe that's not my favorite kind of romance book, this was really well written and had some really lovely character work. We follow Mina who has just been basically sold by her father to a bloodline vampire. From there honestly quite a lot of the plot is just sex or based around sex. But lets be honest, that's kind of what you signed up for when you picked up this book right? The author is very good about putting trigger warnings in the beginning of the book, please read them. Nothing really made me uncomfortable and I felt very prepared for the darker elements of the books thanks to these warnings. All and all this was a enjoyable book. While it did cement for me that I have a line in the sand of just how much spice I'm willing to read in one book before it's too much for me personally, I do think that a lot of care is put into these characters and I found myself really coming to like each of the romantic partners in the book.
Thank you so much to Netgalley and to SOURCEBOOKS Casablanca for providing me a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review. It was a pleasure.

Katee Robert does it again!
This very spicy why choose vampire romance is a wonderful read. Definatly more spice than plot, but I am okay with that.
This story follows Mina, a powerless half vampire as she is sent to be sacrificed to a bloodline vampire. Things don't end up as her father wanted, and she, along with 2 other vampires, help him escape.
This book tells the story of a woman, born powerless and treated all her life as less than everyone else, as she gains strength and confidence through her 3 new men.
I honestly love everything Katee Robert writes, and this book is no different. If you are looking for a spicy book with some bonkers things going on, you are in the right place.
