Woah this was my first time reading a Katee Robert book and I was not prepared for how spicy it was actually going to be. The book felt like it was 5% plot and 95% sex. Which if that’s your thing you will love this book, because the author can really write sex extremely well.

To say that this book is saucy is an understatement.
It was a shock to the system, since I have never read anything by Katee Robert before. I wasn't expecting it to be quite so full on. Think ACOTR on steroids.
I actually really enjoyed the storyline - less sex more character development!

Well damn. That was hot.
I was expecting a little more plot but it was good. Reverse Harem with vampires that have extra powers needing to fight a vampire lord for freedom. I’m a sucker for a reverse harem and a bigger sucker for reverse harems that have mm relationships in it. This delivered.
Thanks to Netgalley and SOURCEBOOKS casablancas for an eARC

I’ve read other books by Katee Robert before (the Dark Olympus series) and LOVED them, so was excited when I saw this ARC on netgalley! I knew going into this that Katee’s writing can be spicy, and this didn’t disappoint. In fact, this book is essentially pure smut and nothing else. The book begins with you just being plopped into the story and in the very first scene there is some intense smut. In all honesty, the entirety of Act 1 and 2 is just a giant sex scene and the “plot" to escape from her father just involves more sex. While I love me some spice, I would have enjoyed a bit more of SOME kind of story, given I felt a bit like, “what am I reading” for a large part of the book. Once you get to Act 3, there’s finally some other things that happen, which was a nice change of pace. There isn’t much introduction to the plot, and the development of plot is lacking too. If I were to rate the plot alone, it probably would only get 2 stars. The spice is great though and brings up the rating. We all know Katee can write smut and write it well, so a book that is essentially just all smut isn’t the worst way to spend my time. There’s some vampire/blood stuff and magic too, which makes the minimal plot in this book fantasy-esque and entertaining enough.
The characters are interesting, and we get to know them throughout the book. I enjoy that each of the males provide something different for her. I enjoyed meeting Grace’s character in Act 3, and am excited to read the monster/demon spin off that will feature her in the third book!
I didn’t realize before, but this is actually her Bloodline Vampire series combined into one book. Given that it was three books put into one, I wish some more editing was done to combine it into one book that flowed. This is just one book in 3 acts, but the acts repeat some of the things that we had literally just read. While that is useful when its a 3 book series that were published at different times as a way to refresh the readers memory, it isn’t necessary when I just read it 5 minutes ago in the previous chapter. I think this could have used some editing and rewriting in becoming a new book to make this all flow better. It gets reaaaallly repetitive in the phrasing used too and could use some heavy editing. If I had a dollar for every time she blamed the bond for her attraction I'd be a very wealthy woman. I also caught a few times that there were contradictions in the story. Something that was said to not be the case in one book all the sudden is happening in the next. Again, I think a little bit of editing would have smoothed out the story more.
I would recommend this book to people who are looking for spice with little plot, as there’s not much of that to be found here. It was entertaining, and I liked it well enough, I just wish the whole book was written more like the third act, with a good mix of plot and spice.
I will post a review to my instagram page during the week prior to this releasing.

I really loved the idea behind this book. The world building was excellent. And it was super hot.
However, I found the FMC POV got a bit tedious and very repetitive which ended up making the story a little boring and at the 40% mark quite difficult to get through. Mina's thoughts were very circular, and she had the same circular thoughts over and over again. It really killed the pace of the story for me which is unfortunate because all the other elements were great. Maybe if there was a few chapters from the men's POV to break up being constantly in Mina's head would have helped.
The climax was a bit short too.
There was a lot going for this story, just got let down in some places.

This book is so cringe and poorly written that I simply couldn’t get through it. I read heaps of books with this level of sex and they manage to feel infinitely more mature than this did.

I loved the Dark Olympus series by Katee Robert and so I requested this book to see how it went. While it was ENTIRELY different, it had some of the same elements I enjoyed from that series - interesting characters and strong female leads. However, I did find that it was slightly lacking in depth in comparison.
This is a LOT racier than any of those books, which I have no issue with but I did feel as though I missed a bit of the actual story along the way. Would definitely recommend to a specific audience and still enjoyed this read for what it was.

With Court of the Vampire Queen, Katie Robert delivers a scorchingly hot paranormal reverse harem romance. Like, wow. I’m parched. Water, please, now. And now I need more Mina, Malachi, and company.
Considered worthless by her vampire father, Mina is gifted to Malachi, one of the bloodline vampires, as a sacrifice—to satisfy all his needs. Malachi, long trapped by a blood ward, is starving when she arrives. Being a walking blood bag is bad, but when each bite is orgasmic, how long can she deny that there may be perks to this arrangement? Especially when Malachi’s friend and sometimes more Wolf arrives and wants in on the action, too?! Throw in Rylan, a third hot bloodline vamp, an unexpected bond, a dangerous cat and mouse chase, and an epic showdown, and you begin to get the picture. Not to mention, on pretty much every other page, someone is dying a little death.
In addition to being a fun read, this was surprisingly educational. I didn’t even know that some of the positions and combinations were possible. I was definitely blushing, and I don’t consider myself a prude. Gave me some interesting ideas, though.
Katee includes content warnings at the beginning, which is awesome. If dubious consent, blood play, patricide, pregnancy, blood, gore, murder, explicit sex, vomiting (caused by pregnancy), discussions about abortion, abusive parent (father, historical, off-page), attempted sexual assault (alluded to, non-graphic), and attempted drugging bothers you, this may not be the book for you.

Vampires…. Steamy romance(s)… a plot to overthrow a Vampire Lord…
This was quite the intense read as Mina forms a relationship with 3 men over the course of the book!
The plot was so-so, but the sex scenes are on fire, so who really cares. There were some continuity issues as other reviewers mentioned, so it may need a once over to ensure it is in tip top release shape.
Thank you to NetGalley, the author, and Sourcebooks Casablanca for a copy.

I had no idea what this book was about going into it. I just saw that it was a Katee Robert book and said yes please. To say the least, Katee Robert really jumps right in starting with Chapter 1.. This book is ALL spice. Would I have like more plot and the backstory of the 3 vampires relationships explored more thoroughly? Yes, but that didn't stop me from reading or enjoying the book and hoping the epilogue means the next book will be all about demons (something I never thought I'd say).

I really wanted to be obsessed with this book and I was, for bits and pieces. I DEVOURED the first part and really struggled through the last two parts. I loved all the characters and how they grew together, but did stay very true to themselves the entire book. I just felt like each time we hit a new part or there was any reference to her father, that I was reading the sequel, which after some brief research, turns out it actually is a sequel. His entire back story and everything he had done to Mina was brought up EVERY time he was even mentioned. Keep in mind these appear to be 3 novellas combined into one lovely little novel. The smut was great and I enjoyed the concept. But it felt like it needed a little extra editing.

Thank you Netgalley, Katee Robert and Sourcebooks Casablanca for giving me access to an arc in exchange for a honest review!
I am extremely sad that I did not like this book all the way to the end. I absolutely loved the first part of the book, the build up of the relationship was really nice, enemies to lovers is a trope I really enjoy. The way Wolf and Rylan were introduced was really interesting and I never thought I'd actually like reading about a poly romance (don't get me wrong, you can be poly if you want to, its just not really a thing for me). But then parts two and three happened.
Let me first say that I did some research and this book - while being published as a new novel by Katee Robert, this story has already been published as a trilogy in 2020. I have not found out why it is now being published as seperate books - perhaps because the orignal three were a bit short to really sell seperately? But it really suffers from being put together - I don't think there was any editing done and they just put 'arc I/II/III' in front of the text. Parts two and three both have quite a few instances of plot points being repeated, even when they have just happened in the book, I don't really forget ~that~ quickly when reading something. Book three also had a moment where a character (Grace) said that they didn't know about Mina's magic powers and where she got them from, when the second book ending with the same character saying "oh yeah I know you are X". Reading this back to back was just extremely weird for me. (And don't get me started about the way she is just used as a handy dandy friend for Mina until she gets her men back).
Book two had an extreme focus on pregnancy. So much that it really icked me out. Every sex scene had some kind of reference to impregnating her or getting pregnant or the men fighting over who was going to be the daddy - it was getting extremely boring after a while. And now that I am talking about the men - Malachi became such an asshole in book two? I keep having to think of ACOTAR's Tamlin, who also had a similar change of personality. Wolf and Rylan had the same, but a bit less? The three men did keep talking about Mina while she was standing next to them, kept hiding important information from her and just plainly didn't tell her things. Like, she is supposed to be your love, your queen and mother of your children, but you keep treating her as a child? Anytime Mina mentioned this herself, she was shushed with sex. This really really infuriated me. The two last parts were also a lot of "leave me" and then followed up with "please dont leave me", it just read like cheap filler.
To close this review, this book was way too long and should have ended at part two. Just let them fly off and be happily ever after. Everything that came after was just... Bad.

This was my first read from Katee Robert and whooo I was not ready. I love a good smut over plot book— plus there was vampires! I now need to read some of the author’s backlist.

’ll be totally honest, this was not my favorite. It’s a reverse harem so our FMC has multiple love interests and the four of them are in one big poly relationship. Now I’ll say this, if you’re here for the smut, you’ll love this book. But if you’re here for a combo of romance and smut, you might wanna pass on this one. The plot made me think of your stereotypical bad porno where the acting is just horrible and the plot is only there to lead the characters to sexy time.
Insta-love and insta-lust are not my thing - and this book is mostly lust. We see our FMC “fall in love” with her men without having any substantial (or at least not on page) conversations or connections with them and the majority of their relationship is sex and tying to solve the issues they’re faced with.
If anyone ever figures out what our FMC looks like please let me know, because there wasn’t a description of her in the entire book and she had little to no personality. We never got to see what her hobbies are or what she likes (other than the obvious😉). The entire third act of the book gave me “Breaking Dawn Part 1” vibes. IYKYK.
By midway trough the second act I was skimming through it just trying to finish the book so I could move on.
At least the smut was good 🤷🏻♀️
PLEASE check content warning for this one. They’re no joke.

If you want to read porn instead of watching it- this is your gal. I’ve read one of Katee Roberts books before (Neon Gods) and there was a little bit of plot. That cannot be said about Court of the Vampire queen. They get down to business in the first chapter with zero world building or character development (or even explaining really) and things continue to get more bananas from there. I love a spicy book but this was a lot.

I'm always looking for more Vampire romance in my life, and this was the perfect treat. In this house, we stan orgasmic bites! So good, very much enjoyed.

This one is not for the faint of heart! It is spicy AF and I loved every second of it.
Katee Robert is the master of writing dark and twisty romances, while still endearing you to each of her characters.
This one is for you if you enjoy:
🦇 Reverse harem
🦇 Vampire folklore
🦇 "I'll put a baby in you" vibes
As with any Katee Robert read, I highly recommend reading her trigger/content warnings before diving in. They are usually very comprehensive and on point.

I freaking loved this book! Katee Robert is quickly becoming one of my top favorite authors! She isn't afraid to go completely bonkers!

Very enjoyable fast-paced paranormal romance! I do wish that there had been more investment in individual characters and their individual relationships to each other to make the story more engaging and fleshed out. The lack of background and true communication between the characters made it hard to buy in to the HEA that the author was setting up. Otherwise, the story was fun and a Katee Robert standard for queer love stories.

Very well written, fantastic character development and beautiful relationships. I really enjoyed the length of the book, it didn't feel too long or too short. Nothing was left unfinished which made for a great ending. I would absolutely adore a sequel to be written. 5/5 stars.
