I made it about 2/3 of the way through this book, but it honestly kind of dragged along compared to Katee Robert's other books. I know it was originally written as three separate books, and I think when it was all put together it felt too long and drawn out. The concept is cool and I love sexy vampires, but I would have preferred if it were more condensed.

If you are looking for something spicy and supernatural, then this is the book for you!

I found this book fascinating. It's definitely at once lighter and darker in tone than previous titles by Katee Robert, and the "why choose" element definitely added some "oomph" to the relationship complications. I also love that it ties into the larger Robert universe of work.

I'm somewhat conflicted about this one, if I'm being honest. Court of the Vampire Queen really wasn't bad for what it was - an erotic vampire novel. It was definitely fast paced and probably really enjoyable for people who are looking for exactly this kind of thing. A darker story with lots of spicy scenes (including non-consent or at least dubious consent, with the protagonists mind being slightly muddled at best), but I guess that's exactly what it was advertised as. So I simply can't give it a truly bad review, even though my hopes were a bit disappointed. I had hoped for a more slow-paced, sensual story, more emotion and subtlety, a deeper narrative overall. That was sadly not the case. Still, I do have a couple of vampire fan regulars at the bookshop that I will definitely recommend this to!

This one surprised me. I've read all of the Wicked Villains series which was pretty hit and miss for me and I tried to read Neon Gods but I ended up dnf'ing it, so my expectations were pretty low. However, I really enjoyed Court of the Vampire Queen. It does need to be said though that this is basically porn without plot. If you're here for a plot driven vampire story, you're going to be disappointed. This is like 90% smut with 10% plot and so if that doesn't suit you, you're gonna have a bad time. The subtitle "a spicy polyma MMMF romance" is no joke and I can't expressed that enough.

That being said, what plot there is is fine, if not predictable. I think the vampire world building is interesting but we definitely don't get enough of it. All of the characters were great, the male love interests were unique with distinct personalities. Mina can be a little too antsy, but she needs something to do in-between getting dicked down. There weren't a ton of side characters, but they were all interesting. I hope Lizzie gets her own book at some point.

So, as long as you manage your expectations, you're in for a smutty, vampire-y good time.

very hot, and very fun! and dare I say WILD?! This is definitely not for everyone. But if you want to have some fun while reading about three men & one woman...then pick this one up!

The trademark Katee Robert spice! I liked that the characters had flaws to overcome and showed growth. I felt that the second half of the book had a deeper plot or at least a stronger focus on the plot. There were some moral dilemmas the characters had to tackle that you don't often see in a typical spicy read. Overall I thoroughly enjoyed this book and hope for more!

The problem I have with this book is the plot. There aren’t basically any. There were lots of sex. A lot of it. Book 1 introduces us to the characters and how they like to have sex. Every chapter has sex. Its not a bad thing but the story basically revolves around it, if you would call it a story. For Act 2 or book 2, they are finally free but they have to hide from Mina’s father. While hiding, they have lots of deadly sex. For book 3, we finally get to have lots of rest from sex since Mina’s 3 partners have been captured. Of course, they escape and they have lots of reunion sex. I haven’t read a lot of smut but if it means minimal plot and lots of sex then I’m out.

I couldn't put it down and I didn't want to. This book lived up to every ounce of hype that I had experienced for it. This book is beautifully written; a gripping storyline with strong characters. It ticked all the boxes of my expectations. I would definitely recommend it to others.

DNF. I think this will be my last attempt with Katee Robert. There's nothing personal there, Roberts is a perfectly fine writer, but I think I just prefer rom-com type romances rather than dark/erotic.

Absolutely loved the story and characters! It is always fantastic diving back into the world Katee Robert creates.

Quite a steamy book! This was my first RH, and I wasn't disappointed in the smut level. I'm still thinking about some of these scenes.

However, I would have enjoyed more of a plot. What we got seemed rushed over and too easy.

I didn't read this as it has way too many triggers i wouldn't enjoy, but the author did a great job having them listed up front.

Polyamorous bisexual vampire erotica. "Court of the Vampire Queen" plays fast and loose with any sense of world building or plot. Not too surprising, given that the focus was bloody (quite literally) sex, but that aspect quickly got boring and repetitive.

This is a republishing of a series of three novellas. There are some minor inconsistencies and an annoying amount of repeats that make it clear that the original novellas were directly spliced together and not edited to better fit as a single title.

I mean....wow. This was 75% sex, and 25% some sort of plot line?? I guess...
I was willing to look past that, but even the magic/plot that was mixed in was confusing. It just missed the mark for me.

Vampires, blood, desire, attraction, power and action. This book has it all! All Minas ever wanted was freedom, but being sent as a sacrifice to a starving vampire might throw a wrench in her plans. Especially when she becomes less concerened with escaping and more concerned trying not to feel attraction to her captor.

Katee Robert sizzles the pages like no other and I totally enjoyed this one. The action starts right away with the reluctant MC getting to know her new vampire 'master'. But things get really interesting the further you read. Whew! Loved it.

I mean....this was spicy and steamy and just everything you want when you pick up a Katee Robert book! I loved it from page one! Sign me up for more!
