Incredibly steamy, but I felt like the focus went into writing abundant sex scenes rather than world-building. The paranormal aspect felt rushed and forced, so the world didn't feel cohesive to me as a reader. Super hot, though, so I'm not really complaining.

I am quickly becoming a huge Katee Robert fan. Patrons have been recommending her writing for years, and I'm glad I finally gave it a try. I think patrons will love this one, too, so we will definitely be purchasing copies. Thank you!!

Really interesting read that was very different to the type of books I usually enjoy. A good story with well thought out characters.

Thank you NetGalley for giving me the advance of this book.

Whew, my face has been red since page 2. I am no prude. I read lots of spicy books, but boy this one was very spicy.

There was so much sex in this book, I honestly have no idea what the hell happened. Mina was given to a Malachi to do with what he wants. He then has 2 friends who show up and the party is on. She somehow traps them in a sex slave spell and they have to figure out how to get out of it; all the while screwing like crazy.

I normally love Katee Robert books, but this missed the mark hard for me. I lost the plot several times and just didn't love it.

I have read several books by this author and I have loved all of them. While I did enjoy this one, it did not capture my attention like her previous books have. I do really enjoy her writing style, and the spice in her books is always *chefs kiss*, but this one was not my favorite. I don't go into a Katee Robert book expecting a ton of plot, but I do expect some... However this is a great book to read if you're in the mood for some #smut. If you like your spice level HOT, then this one is great. 👀

Read if you enjoy:

•Reverse harem
•spiceeee
•vampires
•"wtf" moments
•paranormal romance

Thank you so much Sourcebook for my gifted e-ARC!!

Woah 😅 is it hot is here? Oh wait it’s just Malachi who has this place on fire 🔥 (literallyyyy 🥵).

In true Katee Roberts fashion this one brings the S T E A M right from the start, it’s hot and graphic so if that’s not your thing, you’ve been warned. If it is your thing, buckle up buttercup, because if you thought the relationship was just going to be Malachi & Mina you’ve been mistaken. This is a MMMF romance (yes you read that right).

It’s a story about Vampires (perfect for Halloween times, you’re welcome) and half vamps (dhampirs).

It comes with an arranged relationship, a toxic father, all vampire-ish things, a growley protective hero, and LOTS of steamy scenes.

If that sounds good to you, add this one to your TBR! 🤍

I have loved Katee Robert's other books so thought I would give this one a go, and I was not disappointed!

This is a bind up of Sacrifice, Heir and Queen, three of Katee's books that I hadn't read yet. They follow Mina, a half human-half vampire who was given to a Vampire who has been bound to this house by her father.

I don't want to say too much about the plotline because it is *ahem* minimal compared to what else is in this book, but I really enjoyed it. The last part of this book was probably the most plot heavy part, but that's not a bad thing!

Katee Robert's romances are always outstanding and she has become an autobuy author for me this year. If you're looking for a romance that's quick to read, well written and entertaining, I would highly advise that you pick this up.

Mina is the powerless daughter of one of the seven bloodline vampires. The book starts with her being sent as a blood sacrifice to another bloodline vampire named Malachi, who she is to serve in whatever way he wants *eyebrow wiggle*. From there, she ends up meeting two of Malachi's friends (more bloodline vamps of course) and they decide to overthrow Mina's father.

There is no plot. As many, many other people who've read this have said, this book is mainly smut, with the smallest bit of plot. That said, I knew going into this that it was a very smutty book and wasn't expecting greatness. The plot is very predictable, and not very good. When I reached Act 3, I was not interested at all in the plot and wanted it to end. Also, the ending was too fast, and let's be honest, meh.

This is the second RH book I've read this year and I have discovered it's not really for me. The romance in this is....questionable. I wouldn't call it romance or love, more lust. The main character ends up falling in love with "her men" even though they haven't had an actual conversation during the entirety of the book, they just constantly had sex. One of the men in the same chapter goes from, I hate you, to I tolerate you, to I love you.

The sex scenes were good, I guess, although it was cringy at times and I was confused with some of their positions, to be honest. However, it was entertaining and very spicy, so if you're into vampire p*rn, this is for you.

None of the characters has any substance and I barely know what they look like. If I were going to describe the cast of this book physically, I wouldn't know where to start. As for personality, I'd be hard but I think I could describe them with a word each max.

Mina - no clue what she looks like. She's the embodiment of watching paint dry: boring.
Malachi - Has long hair. The "responsible" one but loses control with FMC
Wolf - Has a mohawk. I swear the book describes him as "wild" over 50 times.
Rylan - Has short hair. Angy boi.

Apparently, this is a compilation of 3 novellas, which would be fine, if not for the constant reminder of what happened previously. Also, I was going to ignore it, but since finding out it's a compilation of 3 books that already existed previously I'm going to mention it. There are so many grammatical errors in this and extra words.

Overall, the only thing I'd recommend about this is the smut, but don't expect any literary greatness.

Court of the Vampire Queen by Katee Robert is a wonderfully written reverse harem romance with the female main character coming into her power and the three men who help her realize her true potential. I loved every second of this wild ride and I love everything Katee Robert puts out and adore her as a person. I am working my way through her backlist and I can’t wait to add this to my shelf and continue reading everything this author puts out.

This was my first Katee Robert book and I really liked it. Right away you get spicy scenes, like first chapter right away. The spicy scenes in this were fantastic and reading them in public was a challenge. I loved them. I also really liked the plot of this. I do wish the plot was a bit more complicated and there were a few more action scenes. I know the plot wasn't the main focus of this book, but I do wish there was a bit more of a balance. That's the only thing that kept this from being a full five stars. I also really liked the characters. They were so protective and selfless which I love.

DNF @ 20%

I wanted to like this book so badly, but unfortunately, it was just not for me. I found myself quickly getting bored while reading it and I struggled to continue with it.

This is the first book I've read by Katee Robert but I'm on the fence with this one. The story sounded interesting but it dragged a bit for me. I don't know if that was the story or the fact that they were trapped for a good portion of the book. I would say at about 60% in it started to pick up for me and the ending actually is what bumped this up a star for me.

Katee Robert can do NO wrong. This book has it all- reverse harem, vampires, and PLENTY of steamy scenes. I can't wait to see what Katee does next.

I loved this book and it was full of spice. It was spice with little plot but in the best way possible! A YChoose MMMF romance where I fell in love with all the characters. I love Katee Roberts writing and will definitely continue to read her books.

Thank you to NetGalley, sourcebooks and Katee Robert got an e-arc in exchange for an honest review.

Now this is my fourth katee robert book and I feel that I have gotten pretty familiar with how her writing style works. This book was very similar to others I’ve read by her but my god like other reviews said, this was 500 pages of pure smut.

I felt that the plot really lacked in everything. We don’t get any world building and I am still left wondering what a seraph is.

It felt rushed but also so slow at the same time. The ending did not get enough time to build up, am I really just supposed to believe that she grew claws and killed her compelling old vampire dad.

Overall this was fun and my first (probably last) reverse harem book.

Plot: 4 stars
Romance: 4.25 stars
Smut: 5 stars

I think by now you should know what you're getting into reading a Katee Robert book and this one didn't disappoint! The smut starts off strong within the first few pages but I felt this one held on to a plotline better than others. It's a reverse harem style polyamorous romance and Katee writes them well! Each character felt distinct with individual nuances. I enjoy the insanity that is Wolf! The story jumps straight into the action and it was pretty easy to figure out all the vampire fractions without an info dump. The magic kinda does whatever it wants which makes it a bit confusing. The smut game is strong in this one and I appreciate that it's all consensual and you can tell they all respect each other and their relationships. This was a fun Oct read!!

I really enjoyed this book as one volume. I had not read these previously and only knew a little about them. I love Katee Robert books, and this one was particularly spicy, by nature of the vampire lore and the fact that this was a poly romance (I guess it would be considered reverse harem). I wish there had been a little more plot development, but still really enjoyed it overall.

I'm not sure what I expected when I started reading this but it wasn't really what I was expecting. It was ok, but I generally prefer more plot and less smut in my books. For a pure junk read with tonnes of spice it was fine, but in terms of plot there was very little, there was very little character development and then there was just a whole lot of sex between Mina and the three vampires that magically became bonded to her after bedding all three at the same time. If you're looking for an easy read that doesn't make you think, and you love lots of smut then you'll enjoy this book, but if you like things with a bit more depth & plot then I would probably steer clear.

Unfortunately this one isn’t for me. I can see why people would enjoy it, but it’s just not the type of book that I normally read and enjoy. I have Neon Gods by Katee Robert to read, and I am looking forward to reading it.
