This story is one in a series about a little polar bear named Lars. Lars meets a young tiger named Sasha, who is lost. Lars helps Sasha find his way home. Then, Lars needs help getting back to the north pole. This is a sweet story about making friends and helping others. It's also about appreciating what you have.

Children will love the adventures of Lars and Sasha. The illustrations bring to life the locations they visit and the other animals they meet along the way. This book would be the perfect addition to any preschool or early elementary classroom. It would also be a great gift for young readers.

I received an arc of this picture book from NetGalley for an honest review. Another cute Little Polar Bear book is about friendship and helping those who are lost. I find that there is a lot of text in these books and they are more appropriate for older kids.

Lars can make friends anywhere. His new friend is Sasha the tiger who just wants to see the ocean. But as usual for Lars he got a little lost. But new friends along the way will help Sasha find home and Lars make it back to his dad. Love these books! I love the heart. I love the sentiment. I love the illustration. They just work.

Thanks NetGalley and North South Books for this free advance copy in return for my honest review.
Another charmer by kids author Hans DeBeer, and a solid entry in his Little Polar Bear series, Here Little Polar Bear is bored looking at the waves at the North Pole so he goes to the dump and finds to pieces of chicken. He turns around and when he turns back the chicken is gone, instead he finds a famished little tiger sitting in railroad train, and friendship ensues. Seems like the tiger, Sasha, is trying to find the polar ocean and got lost and so the two friends now must get Sasha home. Just a cute book about friendship, with appropriately great illustrations and good book to read to or with children. I have become a real fan of Hans and his little polar bear stories. Give this a look and you too will discover the wonderful world Han De Beer has recreated.

A big thank you to NetGalley and NorthSouth Books for the ARC. I am voluntarily reviewing this book. This is a children's book, and part of a series. They are all independent but have the same main character. Lars the Polar Bear is adorable. This is not realistic by any means. Lars meets Sasha (a tiger) and they have adventures, explore and make new friends. Such a fun book. As always beautifully illustrated. 4 stars

I received an advance reader copy of this book to read in exchange for an honest review via netgalley and the publishers.

Little Polar Bea, Take Me Home! is an adorable picture book for children about the much loved Little Polar Bear and his new friend who's a Siberian Tiger. Little Polar Bear is fed up with the ocean as his main surroundings and view and goes in search of some food. Upon finding some chicken drumsticks he sits down to eat and they suddenly disappear. He sees that a little tiger cub has devoured them and is very upset. The tiger tells him she's very far from home and has no idea how to get home. The Little Polar Bear befriends her and takes her on a train journey to find her home. This is such a beautifully illustrated book about friendship and allows the reader to see how a different perspective of someone can make you fall back in live with what you have.

Such a fun, cute and quick story of adventure that brings Lars and Sasha, two surprisingly diverse animals together, in order for them to lean on each other to find their way home.

It's hard for me to comprehend at times how children's books can pack the most insightful, encouraging, engaging and EDUCATIONAL messages in the least amount of pages. Not only was the artwork beautiful, Little Polar Bear Take Me Home had themes of friendship, resilience, and courageousness.

While I did find that some of the words were possibly too advanced for the story, they weren't too distracting to inhibit the storyline.

Would absolutely recommend - especially as a gift or for a classroom setting. Perfect for bedtime too!

This book tells the story of a lost little Siberian tiger who meets a little polar bear in the arctic. The polar bear and tiger journey through many different habitats to find the tiger's home. Once they get there, the polar bear now realizes how far he is from home! I love that this book shows that animals need to be in their own habitats, a tiger and a polar bear can't live in the same place! I also like that the story shows how to work together and to help others, even when someone is very different from you and the task is very challenging! I could definitely see my Grade 3 students enjoying this book. I think it would also open up an opportunity for discussion about habitats as part of a science unit. I would recommend this book to parents and teachers of children in the 4-9 age range. Thank you to Netgalley and the publisher for giving me the opportunity to read and review this book!

Lars. a little polar who lived in the North Pole decided that he was hungry and thus he hid his growling tummy and to the garbage dump. Lars needed to find a place to eat the food where Lars meets Sasha and the the small creature ended up sharing the food. The story introduced the ability of sharing, of an item of importance, plus the two tiny animals ended up caring for each other.
This story is a type of hero,s journey, Lars continues to grow though the story and there nonstop action. The babies continue to help each, with is a beautiful lesson. Sometimes the adult spieces need to rock back on their heal and and how children learn.
Throughput the babies, journey. they encouraged many adult species, taking on the responsiblly for or caring for the babies and teaching them an life messge. Despite the difference '"races" The most important lesson taught was the acceptance made by Mother Tiger and this should beNetgalley, Northnd care. Hans Dr Beer,s books is filled with lesson in love.
Thank you to Hans de Beer, Netgalley, and North South Books, in exchange for for an honest review.

Little Polar Bear Take Me Home is a sweet story about unlikely friends and the importance of showing kindness to others. Lars, a polar bear, tries to help Sasha, a Siberian tiger, find his way home after becoming lost trying to see the ocean. Along the way, other animals show kindness and provide assistance getting Sasha, and then Lars, home. This book has a heartwarming message and I absolutely love the illustrations as they really bring the story to life.

I enjoyed this cute story of a polar bear cub and a tiger cub who become friends when one helps the other. It goes on to show that we each have our strengths and if we make the effort to help someone, the kindness is oftentimes returned unexpectedly.

Little Polar Bear Take Me Home is the second book that I've read in the Little Polar Bear series and what a wonderful series it is. Full of adventure, Little Polar Bear Take Me Home is a thoroughly enjoyable read. So much so that I wouldn't mind reading the entire series and possibly collect all the books for each of my grandson's library.

The illustrations are beautifully detailed and really bring life to the characters and story. Little Polar Bear Take Me Home is an absolute worthy read for young ones and it is sure to please parents and preschoolers, alike. Five adorable stars.

I found the illustrations in this title to be absolutely endearing. I loved how Little Polar Bear looked in each of them. I think that an adult and child could delight in looking turning the pages of this title.

That said, I found the story to fine but not as enticing as the visual aspects of the book. Our little bear helps to bring a tiger back home. Each encourages the other and is always kind. Along the way, the two get help from others, giving a message of how we care for one another. Lars and little tiger Sasha are sweet throughout.

Thank you to NorthSouth Books and NetGalley for this title. All opinions are my own.

Fan favourite, little polar bear, Lars, is looking for a snack when he discovers a very homesick and lost little Siberian tiger, Sasha. Ever helpful, Lars offers Sasha to help her find her way home, and their adventure commences!

It is nice to see these lovely stories by Hans De Beer republished for a new generation of readers. Lars epitomises kindness and friendship and will delight young readers who love adventure as well as wild animals. The illustrations enhance the story and are bright and colourful.

Any reader would be lucky to have an edition of this story in their home.
