Dirty Lying Faeries was a unique take on changelings and faeries. This book was fast paced, dual POV, and has a very “normal” MC that I think most readers will enjoy. However I didn’t think there was enough character development or world building for me to really get into this book. But, if you’re looking for a quick/easy read I would recommend this.

Whoa.
This story is truly one of a kind. I’m so so so happy I picked it up! Where to start?
Okay….
The faeries in this story are unlike anything I’ve ever read.
-Four courts, all with their own gate to keep hidden, and Lord or Lady. Winter, Spring, Summer, and Autumn.
-Annual changeling, but not your average run-of-the-mill changeling. No, this is a grown adult human at least nineteen years of age, with little to no ties in the human world. So as not to disrupt the human realm.
-I couldn’t pinpoint the exactly location, but it is in the human world! A city, to be exact.
-Magic, so much magic!
Thea is an exceptional protagonist. She processes her thoughts and feelings rationally, but not at an annoyingly long rate. She’s kind and empathetic, especially as she navigates her new normal.
Devin reminded me of a dark romance male MC. Which was delicious, overprotective, and adoring! I loved his character, probably from the moment he’s introduced!
The supporting characters are all just great in their own way throughout the book. Everyone has a role, and they are great at it!
Blackberry did a fantastic job with this story. It was a perfect combination of light, dark, and intriguing! It is extremely fast paced, easy to devour, and did I mention, there are mates?
