As always, these are so great. I love that excerpts are included - I have already requested and been approved for two. :) Thank you!
I loved this! Reading through excerpts of upcoming novels, short stories, and other literary works. After reading an excerpt you have the option to request it via NetGalley. Buzz Books 2022 includes excerpts from categories such as fiction, nonfiction, debut, and young adult. The only negative is needing more once an excerpt ended. Offering just enough to get you hooked and ending at the perfect moment to leave you wanting more. Of course, I requested a few and I’m looking forward to many more! Just what my TBR called for….
This was an absolutely amazing preview, so many books were included from a wide range of genres. I'm coming to rely on these Buzz Books excerpts to give me an idea of what books to look out for and they haven't failed me yet! I've definitely come away with quite few new releases to keep an eye out for.
Organized beautifully-Excerpts are just enough to get a feel for the storyline to determine if it may appeal to your inner book lover. Found a few definite will reads to excite me and others that peaked interest enough to go on my want to read Goodreads wish lists.
So many titles! I love reading through this list and getting a good idea of what's coming in the Fall and Winter. It gives me a huge list if titles to be aware if and watch for.
This is a very helpful guide to the books coming out this fall and winter, and it helps me decide which books to choose in my favorite genres. Highly recommend.
I received a free copy of this book via Netgalley. My review is voluntary and my opinions are my own.
I am now most excited for the release of “Monsters Born & Made” and “Queen Among the Dead”. I will definitely be adding both to my tbr.
This allowed me to find some new books to add to me tbr that I may not have heard of otherwise. I am most excited for Monsters Born and Made by Tanvi Berwah.
This has a lot of great information in it with upcoming releases. I wish there were pictures and links but still either way it's great information.
Buzz Books 2022 Fall/Winter Edition was great! So many great books coming out later this year. I have added several of these to my TBR list. There's definitely something for everyone in this list and a lot to look forward to.
I enjoy these sneak peaks at the upcoming books; they really add to my TBR pile! I wish there were links to synopsis of all the books that are listed but not excerpted, would be my only change.
As always with these collections, my TBR grew. I am so excited to read some of these books. Can't wait for the next collection.
Buzz Books 2022 Fall/Winter is a collection of books that will be released the second half of this year. I was ecstatic to read all of the excerpts and selected a book from each category. Fiction: The Lost Girls of Willowbrook (Ellen Marie Wiseman); Debut: The Old Place (Bobby Finger); Non-Fiction: Slenderman (Kathleen Hale); Young Adult: Nubia The Awakening (Omar Epps, Clarence A. Haynes)
I recommend this for all book lovers!
Buzz Books is free on Amazon for Kindle. Thank you Netgalley for the ARC.
Thank you so much for this review. I am going to check most of these titles, they look amazing. And it is always exciting to read some everyone-is-talking-about books in advance.
Always a treat to preview upcoming books to add to my TBR list. Thank you to Publishers Lunch and NetGalley for the opportunity to read Buzz Books.
Pros: One of the things I find most overwhelming about NetGalley is knowing what books to request--there are literally thousands of books! This sampler was a wonderful way to read a bit of a bunch of upcoming releases to see what I might want to request from NetGalley and the library. I appreciated that debuts were grouped together so that I could focus on getting to know these new authors and their work.
Cons: I've already been rejected on NetGalley for some of these books, so I'll just have to wait to get it from the library!
What a fun book of excerpts! Great book blurbs for each one. Easy table of contents for navigation. Certainly a fantastic way to get introduced to upcoming releases. I loved the one by Kevin Wilson.
This is my go to bible for new & upcoming books to mark on my calendar to read. It never disappoints and I am always excited about future anticipated books!
I'm so glad NetGalley doesn't have an add book to your Goodreads TBR shelf button because that would be very dangerous lol
So many good books coming this fall/winter! A few that were already on my radar but some I hadn't heard of yet. I, through some tears and difficulty, was able to narrow down a select few I will for sure be adding to my buy list.
Slenderman by Kathleen Hale (8/16) - I will always read a Slenderman story
Bad Fruit by Ella King (8/23) - love a good toxic mother-daughter thriller
Daisy Darker by Alice Feeney (8/30) - another amazing Alice book to look forward to
The Enigma of Room 622 by Joel Dicker (9/13) - sounds so interesting not to mention such a fun cover
Fieldwork by Iliana Regan (1/10) - sounds like a memoir unlike I've read before
Lots of great information about upcoming titles. Thanks. I'm not sure how this title fits into my overall reviews and so I just want to express my appreciation for the work it took to build this.
