This was such an amazing resource that I never knew about! There are so many great books coming out this fall and winter that I hadn't previously known about. I love that this includes excerpts from some of the books, as well as an even expanded list of upcoming books. My TBR, which was already too long to begin with, has just grown exponentially!
Buzz books is a useful tool to see which books are the season's most highly anticipated. It is a fine starting point in prioritizing the ever-expanding reading pile.
Always a good read, excerpts of forthcoming books. More successful finds, should keep me reading for the next couple of months
I am grateful for the opportunity to learn about new ad upcoming books and authors. Iโm very excited about some of these titles, especially The Light Pirate and When We Had Wings.
Always the most reliable and tantalising of glimpses into the upcoming release season - I love the Buzz Books catalogues. Terrible for my TBR but always worth it!
I needed this in my life to make my list for the end of the year reading! Love attending the Buzz Books lunch and always try to make it a priority to read these excerpts before the event to know which titles to really pay attention to and find out what I should request. Keeping fingers crossed for approvals for some of my favorites, there were SO many great titles in this collection!
Thanks, Netgalley! I always love hearing about new books! I can't wait to read these new titles! Now I need to start requesting!
Nice, varied assortment of releases to look forward to๐
I was really impressed by the cultural variety of the titles included in this collection, including in the Young Adult offerings. I am personally hoping to read some of the fiction, especially John Irving's the Last Chairlift, Daisy Darker, Age of Vice, City Under One Roof and Night, Forgotten.
The Buzz Books compendium always brings titles to my attention that I would miss otherwise.
Thanks to Buzz Books and NetGalley for sharing a complimentary advance copy of the book; this is my voluntary and honest opinion.
Good selection of previews here and thereโs something to be excited about even among some that didnโt quite hook me in. But still a good sampler.
I always love reading the Buzz Books guides to learn all about new and noteworthy titles and authors!
What a stellar list! From the excerpts I've been able to sample we should anticipate that the Fall/winter Releases of 2022 will satisfying a variety library appetites. The one book I will absolutely be buying the day it hits the shelf is Feeney's Daisy Darker. I cannot wait!
Twice a year, I relish in the newest edition of Buzz Books . . . which invariably causes many, many upcoming titles to be added to my TBR list. And, this time was no exception because the fall/winter lists and excerpts were amazing!. I have added quite a few additions to my TBR list, and I especially look forward to reading The Light Pirate, Such a Pretty Girl, The Lost Girls of Willowbrook, The Book of Goose, and Bad Fruit.
I always look forward to reading the latest and greatest upcoming release list and this one does not disappoint! So many great authors releasing titles this Fall/Winter.
Really looking forward to some of these books! This is definitely a good way to introduce readers to upcoming books.
I really enjoy receiving these buzz book reads for each season. So many good books coming out! Love reading the beginning chapters of some and know from reading others, that I have no interest.
Thank you, NetGalley, for this edition of Buzz Books! It's always so great to get to read excerpts from some of the most anticipated titles coming out soon!
I absolutely love getting the new edition of Buzz Books. The last review, I think I wrote it was like getting a present with a pretty bow wrapped up special with great books for me. Well, this time the box was bigger and the bow was prettier.
There were are so many novels coming out by authors I am awaiting. Fredrik Backman, Kate Atkinson, Maggie OโFarrell, Kate McCraken, Candice Carly-Williams, Alice Feeney, Taylor Jenkins Reid, and many more. I could go on for a long time. I love that this includes debut novels, and that is one of my favorite parts; I get to discover new voices and books that I will love. The Storytellerโs Death, by Ann Devila Cardinal, If I Survive You, by Jonathan Escoffery, and Someday Maybe, by Onyi Nwabinelli sounded especially interesting. I also appreciate that there are many Non-Fiction books listed.
This is terrific for NetGalley members because their are excerpts to read and then you can directly request the book. Some books, had a link where I could get the book right away. This I will definitely come back to, as I finish up some of my summer reads and can plan for the books Iโd like in the Fall and Winter.
If you do not have a NetGalley account, you can still get Buzz Books 2022: Fall/Winter FREE just by going to your Amazon account and adding it to your Kindle. It is so helpful to see books you like and also great for Book Clubs picks.
I decided to add a separate category with the books I like from here. I can then check back and add additional books I will add on. This is a great time to start looking over the new titles, as many friends and fellow Goodreads members will start discussing them. It sparks early discussions of the books, too and that is fun. Itโs a great way for us all to see new books that interest us.
So, 5 stars ๐all the way. Love this Guide so Much.
Thank you NetGalley and Publishers Lunch for providing a copy of this.
There are some really great hidden gems in here. I can't wait to read them! The panel today was lovely and I enjoyed hearing the stories from the authors and editors. Thank you!
