I found so many new books I want to read now, I know I don't need to add to my TBR but here I am adding more lol.
This is fantastic! Thank you for another meticulously crafted issue, Buzz Books.
There is some really good stuff coming up this year...McEwan in September, C. McCarthy in October/November...Atkinson, O'Farrell...
Exciting times!
These are my most favorite catalogues and always worth reading! They are phenomenal!
I highly recommend looking through and adding these titles to your TBR on Goodreads!
Discovering Buzz Books felt to me like hitting the mother lode. Published twice a year by Publishers Lunch, it provides not only titles of upcoming book releases but generous excerpts of over 50 books to whet your appetite. My top ten for Fall/Winter 2022 include;
Barbara Kingsolver, Demon Copperhead
George Saunders, Liberation Day
John Irving, The Chairlift
John Banville, The Singularities
Jodi Picoult, Mad Honey
Christopher Buckley, Has Anyone Seen My Toes? (Read it, loved it, so funny!)
Elizabeth McCracken. The Hero of This Book
Frederick Bachman , The Winner
Elizabeth Strout, Lucy by the Sea
Julian Aguon, No Country for Eight-Spot Butterflies
It's a good year for readers!
I received a drc from the publisher via Netgalley.
Who doesn't love the latest edition of Buzz Books? I look forward to a sneak peek at the most eagerly anticipated books of the upcoming season and Buzz Books compiles these into a single selection that I can read through to determine which ones I want to add to my TBR list. Thanks, to NetGalley and the publisher, for providing me with an advanced ARC in exchange for my honest review.
So many excellent upcoming titles for the Fall/Winter season 2022!

A fantastic preview of the books to come this fall/winter, this guide helped me plan out which books I would like to request as advanced reader copies from publishers as well as what to anticipate buying when the time comes.
The layout of this catalogue is really well done! I like the format, the excerpts and the cover art to help you pick out your next read. Something for every reader, I know I have found some new titles to request! Great for librarians and booksellers for a quick glance at upcoming books. Thank you Netgalley and publishers lunch for Buzz Books Fall/Winter 2022! All opinions are my own.
I always look forward to Buzzbooks! It’s a great way to find books for my TBR lists. I recognize how much work is put into Buzzbooks and I thank you!!
Excellent descriptions of forthcoming books, many that I will hope to read. Thanks to NetGalley and PW for a digital copy.
I haven't gotten around to reading all the samples, yet, but thanks Buzz Books for putting this together. There were some books that I didn't know about that I'll certainly be looking for in the Fall.
I always look forward to the Buzz Books catalgoe of upcoming titles. It's a good way to acquaint yourself to what will be published and a great way to request books that are of interest. Hopefully, the reveiws I write will help others find the novels that interest them and generate buzz for those novels. ~~~~~Sharon, The Writer's Reader, https://thewritersreader.wordpress.com
I look forward to Buzz Books every season! Thanks for sharing this! There's so much to look forward to!
This was my first Buzz Books and I loved it! Thanks for opening my eyes to new genres and what exciting things are coming this Fall and Winter.
A great preview of upcoming Fall and Winter reads by a group of popular authors. I enjoy this this introduction as it helps me to decide if I want to purchase the book or audiobook when it comes out. A little morsel of what is to come in the future!
This is a kind of preview catalogue: a list of upcoming books in various categories, followed by a look at the cover, synopsis, and a preview of roughly a chapter of a selection of the books listed.
I didn’t read every word, there’s really no need, but I read through the list and all the summaries. Then, if the book appealed to me I glanced through the extract. I don’t actually like reading extracts as I feel like I’m wasting time when I’ll either read it anyway or never read it all – I looked enough to get an impression.
I’ve noted down a few interesting-looking books from Ian McEwan, Kamila Shamsie, John Irving, Kevin Wilson, as well as some debuts.
If you like to get an idea of what’s coming, it’s free to download on NetGalley and possibly on Kindle if you’re not a NetGalley user.
Thank you NetGalley and Publisher’s Lunch.
Delicious as always, I really love reading these excepts and found way too many books to read this season- I better get busy!
PS I especially liked that more non-white and new author voices were featured.
These are an excellent reference for upcoming books. It’s valuable to be able to sample a book before buying it and I find myself buying a lot more books because of it.
