I was never supposed to fall in love with him—Daniel Pierce. He's Hollywood's hottest man alive, an alpha British celebrity with obsessed fans, but he only wants me. And I'm a bodyguard, the woman who fell for him... and all the danger that comes with his A-list life. He convinced me to follow my heart, that our love was worth the risk. Was it? This was a very intriguing read by a new author. And am voluntarily leaving my review.

Book review : Chase Her by Kelly Finley is a dark romance steamy book.

Charlie Ravenel and Daniel Pierce are each forces with whom to be reckoned. Daniel's movie star fame has put them in danger before, but it is Charlie's past that comes back to haunt them now.

Told from each of their points of view, Chase Her provides equal parts mystery, romance, suspense, and action. But it makes for a fabulous binge read that you will not want to miss out one. We were left in cliffy at the end of book 2 that had me holding my breath. The emotions run high with this one as you are left wondering what the heck is going on between Charlie and Daniel.

The love is so strong, and the feels are something you are just going to just love the roller coaster ride your heart will go on. Charlie does what she does best when it comes to protection and you feel the love for Daniel all the way through. Lots of hard decisions, secrets come out and time make you wonder can Daniel and Charlie survive everything that is thrown at them. You get all your answers and more when it comes down to who is after Daniel and Charlie and how to protect the family.

Daniel will own your heart even more then ever before with this one. I fell in love with the Come for Me series in book one and now with Chase Her I am in even more in love with this one. I could not get enough of Daniel and Charlie. This is an amazing series that just sucks you in from the very start.

This is a great read, full of twists and turns. I read the first in the series, and I recommend starting there so you fully understand the background. This book was slightly confusing in the beginning as you try to figure out what exactly happened, but it all comes together and I enjoyed the suspenseful journey.

I loved reading this book and would recommend this romantic book to all dark romance book lovers. I am thankful to netgalley and the publisher for the gifted copy in return of an honest review.
Happy Reading!

Chase Her By Kelly Finley has it all it has fame, scandal, a love story and a interesting plot twist. It definitely a read that will keep you on the edge of your seat. This a binge read you will want to know more Charlie Ravenel and Daniel Pierce story. Why the secrets? I do love how independent and strong the main character is. Without giving to much away in my feedback if you love a good plot twist you will love this book.

This book was slightly confusing in the beginning as you try to figure out what exactly happened, but it all comes together and I enjoyed the suspenseful journey. The only thing I did not enjoy was how Covid was woven into the story...it felt a little theatric and unnecessary and honestly it distracted from the main story. I lived the covid nightmare and I hate how political it is and I don't want to read about it, especially when it adds nothing to the story. It was like nails on a chalkboard every time it was mentioned in the story.

This one was a little hard to get in to at first.
I’m not a big fan of the chapters being divided by character but also still being in third person.
However, the story line was relatively unique and I would definitely read again when I have some more time!
