This is such an important book! Yes, just like the other Rebel ones, but we know how representation matters, so having kids see other kids and teens doing *important* things can be so helpful! It's not only adults who can change the world, but they matter as well!

We love strong female characters, and in Good Night Stories for Rebel Girls, we meet girls who can and have changed the world with their inspiring words and actions. This book caters to all young girls to stand up, speak out, and live to be a changemaker - without fear!

Highly recommended for ages 8 and up. This title should be in school libraries for reference and fun.
5 Stars!

Good Night Stories for Rebel Girls: 100 Inspiring Young Changemakers is an excellent addition to the Rebel Girls book series. The book focuses on young women who are making a difference and changing the world in various fields, from sports to activism to art. What's great about this book is that it features girls from diverse backgrounds and cultures who are united in their goal of making the world a better place. The stories are concise, easy to read, and emotionally uplifting. Each story is paired with a full-page portrait created by young female and nonbinary artists, which adds to the charm and whimsy of the book.

The book is inspiring, and I believe it's a must-read for girls of all ages. The stories are educational and can be a great tool to encourage girls to dream big and follow their passions. The illustrations are beautiful and complement the text well.

Thank you Netgalley for letting me read and review this book. Good Night Stories for Rebel Girls is a book about 100 young changemakers. "Readers of all ages will be inspired by the fascinating stories of well-known women like Greta Thunberg, Bethany Hamilton, Bindi Irwin, Zendaya, and the Linda Lindas. They’ll also meet up-and-coming powerhouses like inventor Vinisha Umashankar, sustainable fashion designer Marine Serre, stuntwoman Sadiqua Bynum, filmmaker Taegen Yardley, poet Alexandra Huynh, and environmental activist Helena Gualinga."

I absolutely adore Rebel Girls book and they chose such amazing people to feature in this book. I honestly believe Rebel Girls Book Series is going to change the world and the narrative that only men were in charge of our history and our world.

Thanks to Netgalley for this advanced reading copy.

As with previous Rebel Girls books, the stories included here are inspiring and educational. This volume focuses on 'young changemakers' - girls age 5 to teens who are making a difference and changing the world in a variety of ways, from music and the arts to sports to activism to being proud of their bodies and their heritage. The one-page stories are concise and easy-t0-read but also emotional and inspiring. They are also very diverse. The illustrations are lovely and complement the text well.

I would recommend this to school and classroom libraries as well as children and teens of all genders.

*Thanks to NetGalley and Rebel Girls for providing an early copy for review.

I liked this collection because it had women/girls born between the 1990s the 2010s. I liked that all the chosen women were a 'young' age because it helped show the point that anyone can make a change. I could see this read being really inspiring for a young girl and giving her inspiration to go for 'it'. The only critique that I currently have is that some individuals had a specific birthdate and others only had years, it would be better to have it all be the same so maybe reaching out for birthdays next time to have more cohesion.

As with other books in the series, Young Changemakers is an inspiring book introducing readers to familiar and unfamiliar young leaders in their own right, making a change for the good of all.

Disclaimer: I got a digital review copy of this books from Netgalley originally and these are my honest opinions of the book.

This Rebel Girls gives a one-page biography of each woman (including some non-binary persons) with a one-page illustration by various artists. The biographies vary from well-known US celebrities to activists and athletes and other people from countries all over the world. This is a beautiful book that would make a great gift for most young readers.

I have always really enjoyed the Good Night Stories for Rebel Girls series and having three girls myself, it has been a favorite in our house. This has so many great young women that inspire and show young girls that they can do anything they put their mind to. I love that it includes so many different areas these women have excelled in and not just the basic famous celebrity. It ranges from singers, to computer scientists, to activists and everything in between. I will say that I think it was good to have some trans awareness within the book for those who are dealing with those types of situations, but for my family I am not ready to share that particular occurrence with my children. It made me a bit weary to read to my own girls. At least those specific stories. Overall, I think this is a great book and will inspire many young girls to follow their dreams.

Another winning book from the Rebel Girl series. The layout is pleasing and alphabetical so easy to go through. I like that some pages have learn more q’s that you can scan on your phone to learn more about that person. All of the people are younger poets, dancers, scientists, sport figures, activists and more. The illustrations are vivid and pleasant to the eye. This is a great addition to any young girls library.

I read this with my 6 y/o, and we both absolutely loved it. We both appreciated that not only were there a variety of people and what they have accomplished. As a parent I also appreciated names that my daughter knew so she would keep her attention. All of the Goodnight Stories for Rebel girls books are amazing, but this one might be my favorite yet because some of the ages were so young it inspired my daughter even more than reading about someone who is 20+ years old.

I love that the formatting of the books have remained consistent, and easy to navigate for kiddos.

Thank you NetGalley for this ebook!

Another wonderful collection of stories from Rebel Girls full of the stories of inspiring young activists, artists and sports stars among others. With famous names from Zendaya to Greta Thunberg, alongside many readers won't have stumbled across and everyone in between there is someone to inspire every reader. Each page is in the familiar Rebel Girls style with a bright portrait opposite a one-page story of the changemaker portrayed.

Despite being in my late twenties and not having any children myself, I found this book to be quite interesting and I could see how this would be inspiring for kids. I liked that the book focused on a variety of different people, professions and cultures, providing something for every child to recognise themselves in. The stories are short, making it perfect for kids and are accompanied by the most wonderful illustrations. I would highly recommend this to anyone with children.

This makes me wish I had a daughter to read bedtime stories to! Such inspiring and beautifully illustrated stories, each highlighting a young changemaker today. I love the diversity of the people represented, both in terms of where they're from and what they're doing - this is such a wonderful collection.

Thank you so much for continuing to make this series and for allowing me the chance to review it!

I love the Rebel Girls series and this book just might be my favourite. The change makers included are a diverse and interesting range of women from across the globe. Any female reader can see themselves isn’t his text. The stories are short and inspiring and cover people in any field of interest. I will definitely be adding this to our library collection and to my personal collection as well. Thank you for the opportunity to read this ARC.

Me and my daughter, we both have fallen in love with Rebel Girls books!
I, a hardcore feminist.
She, a tween learning to navigate the world.
Rebel Girls books, empowering yet a gentle nudge that girls are awesome, girls can do stuff, girls can achieve greatness, girls can do things that matter and make difference.

This book stands out. Each girl and young woman in this book has done something that has made a difference. Here, they are not overshadowed by any man who claims their accomplishment. They can shine bright.
The world needs more books like this one. There are and there have been so many strong, smart, and unique women out there. There are so many more stories of women and their achievements that deserve to be told also.

I love the Rebel Girls books. They always have amazing artwork, various women represented, and just enough information to get children interested and perhaps want to learn more. This instillation of Rebel Girls focuses on people pushing boundaries in their professional field or society, from Alina Morse, candy maker and entrepreneur, to Tanyaradzwa "Tanya" Muzinda, a motocross racer.
