I enjoyed Williams book, Arcadia's Children. The plot development was enough to capture the reader into the book. Character development was good.

Aside from the seemingly indiscriminate mind manipulation with seemingly little long-term consequences (which I am not sure is unrealistic or just plain frightening), the other sci-fi elements of the story were well presented, as was the pacing of the story.
