Book 3 of the time travel series, but first I've read. Overall, not an issue and followed the story fine. A quick and easy read of a novella (so not a lot of details overall) that makes an easy take along book for summer. Would recommend. Adam and Diedra are fun together.
Playboy challenge by jo Barrett release August 2022. This is a cute little romance book. A no good rich son is sent back in time to a simple r time of swords and strong damsels. He is to learn to be a gentleman. This is a cute book to take to the beach with you. For those late summer days
Adam Sutherland was pushed in a magical lake by his mother. He ends up with his aunt and uncle. In the seventeenth century. He doesn’t believe that he is not in the present. He thinks that his aunt and uncle like to pretend to live like it’s the seventeenth century. He encounters his childhood nemesis Deidre. He treated her badly. She holds a grudge against him. Now that they are grown up different feelings occur. There is romance, rescues and time travel. I loved the story and hope to read more by this author.
This is the third in the time travel series but can be read as a standalone. It's the son of the couple in the second book and he travels back in time.... just like his parents... The characters are great. You also meet the couple in the first book... The pacing in the book is great and there are no boring parts. Time-travel done perfectly.
Thanks to the publisher for the arc.
