Gospel-Shaped Marriage is just that...a book about marriage through a gospel lens. The writings in the book aren't new revelations but they are explanations of how marriages should be reflections of the gospel.
This book brings forward the same arguments and the same aspects of marriage as most of the christian books. It’s quite hard to write something new when there are so many books on the subject from so many angles written. Not a bad book, just not a plus on the subject
A view of marriage through the lens of the gospel. i liked the theology of this Christian view of marriage. Although I did find the book a little hard to get into.
Profound read on marriage in light of the gospel. Very theologically sound. Grateful that it points the reader to the gospel on every page. This book would be a great read for those who have been married for many years, newlyweds, and those who plan on marrying in the future, as it would help to point the reader to building a foundation for their relationship on the solid rock of the Lord instead of the shifting sand of this world and today’s culture. I would’ve loved to have read a book like this before I was married 16 years ago. It would’ve helped me to get the correct perspective on marriage and God’s design.
