This book had alot of emotion to it. Abby lost her husband in a plane crash but ha dreamt of him calling to her. Ben, her husband, has not quite moved on and wants to get back to her. After about a year, she has grieved so much and decides it is time to move on. She meets Joel and falls in love. That's not the whole story though. It seems that all their lives are intertwined in some way. The ending was surprising and sweet. It was what needed to happen. I enjoyed reading this story

I got this book from NetGalley and am voluntarily leaving a review/

Wow, there is a lot going on in this book so here goes...Ben is gone after a plane crash, his wife Abby is left to pick up the pieces, Joel is a doctor Abby has started dating and he has a whole trunk of excess baggage himself. Christian is a billionaire who wants to build on the island where Ben's plane crashed. Every single person in this story is connected in mysterious ways.

This book was so emotional and has a lot of heartbreak in it. There is just so much grieving and loss. It is much more than a "woman loses her husband in a plane crash" story. It was a really heartfelt story that played with my emotions and had me feeling everything under the sun. I liked how the book showed that we never know what someone is going through so it is always best to be kind.

I loved Abby as a main character, she is strong yet sensitive, smart, and successful. And even though she was carrying a lot of grief she still managed to smile and be kind to others. There are a couple of twists at the end of the book and I in no way saw either of them coming, such a nice surprise. This was such a thought-provoking book about moving forward and the fact it was romantic and written by a male author was awesome as well.

Any book that’s classified as a sad romance, I’m all over. And this book hits all the marks.

Abby Gamble’s husband died in a plane crash. She’s 34-years-old. She’s lost her infant son years ago. And now she’s a widow. She knows she needs to move on with her life, but it’s a struggle. Eventually she agrees to go on a date with Joel - the hot doctor at her gym. The two fall hard and fast. But is her husband dead? Or is he stranded on an island trying to get back to her?

Before I Go is a beautiful story that pulls on all the heartstrings. Everybody’s connected and it just makes your heart swell.

I’ll be honest I was hesitant to read a romance by a man… it’s been awhile since I have, but it’s a sweet story, that focuses more on grief and moving on and I enjoyed it!

Before I Go by Brian Charles isn’t the type of book to which I am normally drawn. It is a book about love; romantic love, family love and letting go. All the MCs have experienced loss in their lives and each storyline details these losses and each person’s journey in accepting the future.

I rated this book 3.5/5 Stars. I felt somewhat manipulated by the ending, but it was a quick, enjoyable, read overall.

Thanks to NetGalley and Kensington Books for the chance to review this ARC in exchange for my honest opinion. #BeforeIGo #NetGalley

This is the first time I have read this author but I really liked this story . I really wasn't sure what it was about when I started but reading it I understand the just of it sometimes you have to give something or someone to be able to have peace with your life. Some of the things in the book I wasn't expecting.. It is a different kind of read for me and I would highly recommend it.

i dont easily give a book 5 stars but while reading this i knew it was definite. this heart warming book about love, grief and regret certainly brought tears to my eyes. it filled me with emotions that i some might not feel comfortable expressing and i feel that this is a great book for people dealing with similar situations. i love how it portrays moving on from your loved ones but at the same time showing that despite moving on we are always tied to them.

This love story is set in Chicago with Abby and her husband Ben. He travels on a plane that crashes on an island before he is able to tell her something important. The story is told about several people with past experiences and current life. The book has several twists that surprise the reader.

The book is well written and a perfect read for anyone who likes the author, Nicholas Sparks.

Good clean romance with no explicit sex

A thought provoking five-star read. This is a story about grief, loss and moving on, and Abby Gamble took me on a journey alongside herself, she is such a strong character, and she took this story so far. I really liked how the author had each storyline telling us the time it was taking place, this allowed me to keep track of where we were and who we were with, as it could get a little confusing as there are several timelines and people stories, each one is powerful and has its place, from Jacob to Brian and the connections that you finally see. I also loved how the holidays played a part, in documenting the time passing and the stages of grief passing, it was so well done that you felt pulled into story, you felt the palpable pain of loss. This is one of those stories that not everyone will be able to appreciate, it has taken me ages to decide on what to write in this review and what rating to give, as the writing is beautiful and the story well done, and I had an inkling of what was really happening, so maybe that was why it made such a powerful and emotive reaction from me, but I do know this will swipe some people from left side and leave them reeling, but it shows us that we all deal with grief and loss in our own ways, and what a powerful personal journey that can be. I am sure this will be one of those stories that will keep me thinking, and keep me coming back, as even though I know how the story ends, I feel it's going to be one that will show me lots each time I read.

I received an ARC of, Before I Go, by Brian Charles. I have mixed feelings about this book. Its a well written book, but I did not like how it wanted to make you think how the story goes, then throws a curve ball.

This ARC was provided to me via Kindle, Kensington Books and by #NetGalley. Opinions expressed are completely my own.

Love, loss, family heartache. You’ll feel the emotions of the characters, the author has a talent for expressing their feelings so you can understand. It’s a quick read though an enjoyable one.

This book was sent to me by Netgalley electronically for review…sadness…heartache…love and loss…family…themes running throughout this book…the characters are likable and one feels sorry for them because of their loss…it is a quick read while being sad and redemptive at the same time…I must admit that after finishing the book, I had many questions…I am not sure what really happened… this writer is talented in weaving a story of family and loss…
