A great addition to the Snowball series.

If you have read any of the previous Snowball books and loved them as much as I do, you definitely need to read this book. In this book, Snowball is playing matchmaker for Peter and Lara. She has her little paws full with these two, especially with the secret Peter is keeping from Lara. Lara is a previous guest at Weber Haus and just moved to town and bought the townhouse next to Peter. She also just opened a toy store at Weber Haus Shops; the last remaining spot that Peter wanted for his book store. Neither Peter or Lara planned to get involved romantically, but with Snowball, anything can happen when she sets out to bring two people together.

This book was a little more involved than the previous ones. Not only was Snowball matchmaking Peter and Lara, she is dealing with another romance that is happening all on its own. One that Snowball does not approve of. And, it seems everything else Snowball does is going wrong lately. This has her feeling sad. Over all, I loved this book. I just can’t get enough of Snowball and these fun characters. You can read this book as a stand-alone, but I would recommend reading the series in order so you get to know the characters better.

My favorite mischievous matchmaker cat, Snowball, is back again.

Lots of hard work, and an inheritance from her beloved grandmother, is enabling Lara Wolfe’s dream to open the Elf Shop, a storefront toy store, a reality. One particular person, Peter Diemer, is not happy that Lara was able to score space near Weber Haus, the inn his sister, Emily, runs. Peter, who was hoping to move his family’s bookstore to that very space, is outbid. He’s certain that the toy store won’t work out, and he posts disparaging comments about the toy store in an online community forum, using an alias.

Snowball is certain that Lara and Peter are meant to be together and sets to work creating opportunities for them to see each other. There are challenges and mishaps. Dare I say, glitter happens? Snowball starts to question her abilities, but she is determined. Peter realizes he was wrong to be suspicious of the new toy shop and Lara. Sparks start to fly as Lara and Peter get to know each other, but what happens if Lara finds out about those online posts? Snowball sure has her work cut out for her!

I thoroughly enjoyed this delightful holiday romance about Snowball’s antics and her matchmaking mission.

This is the first book that I have read by Kristen McKanagh and it will not be the last one. As I was reading I felt a part of the story. I really enjoyed Peter and his grumpiness except when he was around Lara. Snowball was an interesting cat as she prided herself on being the perfect matchmaker and that she was. She also was a good story teller as well.

Check out the story I think you will certainly enjoy it.

This is a cute and fun read full of Christmas magic and romance. Being the cat lover I am, the beautiful cover caught my attention. Snowball's antics were my favorite parts of the book, of course. I recommend this book to all, not just cat people, to get you in the Christmas spirit. Thanks to author Kristen McKanagh, publisher Kensington Books, and NetGalley for providing a copy of this ebook for an honest review.

This is my first story by Kristen McKanagh. It's the third story in the series. So I will have to go back and read the other two. It is definitely a cute story. I love Snowballs mischief while playing match maker. I really enjoyed the story. The humor was on point.

Absolutely adorable. I think the short paragraphs at the end of ever couple chapters from Snowball's (the cat) perspective add to the story. This is a small town, Ex marine, Christmas romance with a toy shop. The conflict for the romance at the last 20% of the book was definitely predictable from the start but didn't bother me too much. This definitely has all the Christmas vibes and will make you want to go to a winter wonderland bookshop.

Snowball is a cat who helps couples find each other and fall in love. The story is predictable but also a fun read to find out just how Snowball’s antics cause a bit of grief but she also does good. I have not read the previous books in this series but I enjoyed this one. I recommend this book to anyone who likes a romance with a different twist. I received an arc of this book from NetGalley and the publisher. All opinions expressed are my own.

Another wonderful, cute Snowball story. Perfect for Christmas in July! This book wrapped up everything perfectly but I wouldn’t complain if there were more Snowball books to come! Thanks to NetGalley for the advanced copy in exchange for an honest review.

This is the first book I’ve read by new-to-me author Kristen McKanagh. The story involves a mischievous cat named Snowball, her human family and friends, and their daily lives. It was a fun read full of humor. Snowball manages to get herself in plenty of trouble while overseeing her duties as the Weber Haus Inn’s greeter and town matchmaker.

There’s Lara, in the process of opening her toy store before Christmas. And her new neighbor, Peter, somewhat of a grouch if you were to ask her opinion, but she vows to fit into her new home and town, and make a success of her new store, no matter what it takes. Peter has a secret that involves Lara.

There are great family dynamics, new friendships, wonderful characters, new beginnings, and more. And, of course, there’s Snowball.

I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced copy of this book. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

I love Snowball’s sweet and sometimes hilarious efforts at matchmaking

This was a sweet swoony Christmas romance which includes three dimensional characters who grow, witty dialogue, an engaging storyline, and low angst. Peter is ex-military who now is a bookstore owner following a career ending head injury and coma. Lara is a toy maker opening her first brick and mortar shop at Weber Haus. Not knowing Lara was the one who outbid the bookstore for the rental space where the toy shop will be located, Peter writes a number of unsupportive messages on the town forum website about the new toy shop. While there is instant chemistry between the Lara and Peter, neither of them is interested in a relationship. Lara, because she’s wants to focus on her new business and Peter because his head injury makes him grumpy and he’s not sure he’s relationship material anymore. But fate and a fluffy white cat step in to force these two soulmates to spend time together repeatedly. The journey to their HEA is a gentle roller coaster ride that will give you all the feels as they each work through their own issues. Rounding out the cast of main characters and one whose POV helps to tell the story is Snowball, a white cat who has a lot of opinions on the behaviors of the humans at Weber Haus. Seeing the story from Snowball’s POV is a unique twist and adds quite a bit of humor to the story. Especially Snowball’s indignance at the humans for consequences that directly result from her choices. This story and series by Kristen McKanagh is well worth a read especially curled up on a snowy day by a fireplace.
