A Very Thankful Prayer Seek and Find was a cute book about fall. I try to get my grandchildren to be thankful and grateful about all their blessings all year long, but this is book highlights all the things in fall to be thankful for and fits in perfectly with Thanksgiving. Each page begins with "I'm thankful for" and has a four line stanza of a rhyming poem. It includes such things as warm outdoor clothing, falling leaves, family, pumpkins, farmer's fields, friends, apples and more. The cadence is wonderful to read aloud and the illustrations are adorable. They are bright and vibrant with enough detail to talk about, but not too much to overwhelm. This version of the book has a "seek and find" aspect. At the bottom of each page is a group of pictures with the words for the child to find in the picture. When I read this to my grandchildren, they raced (6 and 4 YO) to see who could find something first. This is a faith based book with a thank-you directed to God for all of creation, but I recommend this no matter what religion you might follow.

A Very Thankful Prayer Seek and Find helps teach and remind everyone, especially young ones, what they have to be thankful for in the world around them. A Very Thankful Prayer Seek and Find is interactive and I love that about it. A Very Thankful Prayer Seek and Find is interactive on each page by having objects listed at the bottom of the page for the reader and listener to look for while reading. The pictures are also adorable. I think A Very Thankful Prayer Seek and Find would be perfect for any reading setting and I believe what the reader/listeners learn from the book is powerful. This board book has charming autumn illustrations and simple seek-and-find activities for toddlers. The rhyming text and sweet illustrations will have general appeal, but as the title indicates, the book includes Christian-specific themes related to God and prayer. Books from this publisher vary in whether or not they actually include religious content or not, but this is one that has multiple faith-related references.

This is a cute and simple Thanksgiving story. The seek and find aspect makes it fun and engaging for my 3 year old! The illustrations are beautiful, vibrant, and eye catching. The simple text over brightly colored scenes, made this a great addition to my Thanksgiving book stack.

Nice Poem with amazing illustrations. Prayer with thoughts on fall season gave better scenic view in backgroud to the poem printing. Autumn has always been my favorite season too. This picture book can easliy be add to the KG curriculums. I liked it.

A Very Thankful Prayer Seek and Find by Bonnie Rickner Jensen is a cute, festive book for young readers. I would recommend this book to children 2-4 years old. Each page features a sweet little rhyme and 6-8 items to “seek and find.” As the title would suggest, the book looks at Thanksgiving through a biblical view, and while God is mentioned the context is quite broad, reinforcing that this story is for younger readers. I would purchase this for my own daughter as she can’t get enough of seek and find books and we enjoy finding new seasonal books.

There are so many Christmas books, but there are never as many classic Thanksgiving books (I know, I know, Thanksgiving is only one day, while the holiday Christmas season is a full month roughly). Still. I was so pleasantly surprised to read this gem, as it is not only beautifully illustrated with the richest, most stunning oranges, golds, greens, russets, browns, and all of the colors that scream autumn, but also packs a punch with its powerful message of the joy of giving thanks and being grateful for what we have every morning and every day, including the things we sometimes take for granted, such as the beautiful changing colors of the leaves, pumpkin patches, the moon and the stars, and more. Bonus - this one is an activity book, so it will keep the kids interested and entertained as well!

EVERYTHING ABOUT THIS BOOK I LOVE!! I can't express how much I wish children's books would be fully engaging. Ill read a book to my toddler and get so upset that it is over so quick. I want to linger on the pages a little more and enjoy the beautiful illustrations, and these books give you the best kind of invitation to do that. With prayer mentioned and illustrated for demonstration, oh I just love it. The colors are warm and give extreme Autumn vibes and I am all about it! I want this book for every one of the kids in my life.

This is a children's book I'd like to sit comfortably down on the sofa with, with a child or two on either side of me and spend a happy time reading but also have the fun of looking for items of interest hidden in the colorful, well-illustrated graphics. It would certainly make for a very pleasant afternoon of reading the rhyming poem prayer about Thanksgiving and Autumn, quite possibly sparking questions about the festive season.

This was such a cute book. My kiddos loved this story so much so that they ask for it almost every night. I loved the vibrant colors, the illustrations, the rhymes. It was so sweet. I definitely recommend if you have tiny tots or want to give as a gift to a friend who is about to have a baby.

A picture book to share with your little one on thankfulness. Thankfulness is a learned virtue that changes your life and is for your well being. It is important to teach our children well they are young. This sweet illustrated book uses a seek and find that takes thankfulness further. So many reasons to be thankful and not just one time of the year but all year long.
