This book had some sweet moments and the idea of rediscovering yourself through an old teenage diary is cute. Georgie is likable enough, and Levi had that classic grumpy-but-sweet thing going on. The small-town vibe was cozy, and there were some good messages about self-worth and starting over. But overall, it felt a little predictable and slow in parts. Not bad by any means—just not super memorable for me.

I loved the first Kate Clayborn book I read, LOVE LETTERING, but none of the rest have hit for me the same way. Her writing is lovely but I struggled to get through this book (and I tried the audio, too).

this was a refreshing read, and i am thankful to netgally for sending this over! The story was easy to understand, and the romantic aspect was also lovley to read

Kate Clayborn strikes again! I truly savoured this book and really didn’t expect to enjoy it as much as I did (not sure what I was expecting - I think it was the right book at the right time that properly hooked me!).
Georgie returns to her hometown and has an immediate connection with her old crush’s brother. The novel could be reduced to that but it gives so much more - old relationships, new prospects and some reflective and emotional thinking about how to adjust to a new phase of life are all present in this book, alongside tender and humorous moments. It was like a hug of comfort, romance and relationships and I think it might be her best book yet. Will recommend to all friends!
Looking forward to her future novels!

A charming and heartfelt story about self-discovery, love, and embracing life’s twists and turns. I loved Georgie’s journey as she revisited her past to find clarity in her present, and the romance was beautifully written, with chemistry that felt genuine. The blend of humour and emotion made it a delightful read, though some parts felt slightly drawn out.

This was not my favorite book by Kate Clayborn and the characters left me a bit cold. Thank you to Kensington Books and NetGalley for an advance copy.

I very much enjoyed this book. It was a very cute romance set in a small town with two
adorable main characters. I always enjoy a book that has multiple POV's. The story was great from beginning to end. I would recommend to my book club!

In Georgie, All Along, we follow Georgie's story after she leaves her job as a celebrity PA unexpectedly and moves back to her small-town. When she discovers a journal she wrote as a teenager, she decides to complete as many tasks as she can from it- almost like a bucket list. She runs into the town troublemaker, Levi, and he offers to help her with her list, and the two get to know each other better.
It was great having both Georgie and Levi's perspective in this romcom. This was a well-written forced-proximity trope, and the supporting characters were great. I loved Georgie’s friendship with Bel, and the bond between the two of them. There is some good character development in this, and family relationships.
Thank you to the publisher for the arc in exchange for review.

This was a refreshing read, I liked the aspects of self discovery. It was very well written and the humor was also a standout.

This book was a miss for me. It was too long and didn't really go anywhere. Georgie returns to her hometown from LA and doesn't really have a plan. She was going to stay with her best friend from high school and help her move into her new house and prepare for her new baby. Only she's already moved in and Georgie feels like a third wheel.
In the process, though, she finds a notebook that she made in high school with a bunch of things that they wanted to do. They didn't get to and for some reason, Georgie decides it's time to do those things now. Essentially this is a book about Georgie acting like a high schooler. Because she does. She meets Levi, the brother of her high school crush, and falls for him. Although the romance was a bit forced and insta-romance.
This kind of meandered around and there was a ton of inner thoughts. This was the type of book where you could kind of space out and miss a chunk... and not really miss anything.

Georgie’s Self-Discovery Journey
Georgie, All Along stands out for its strong character development and the emotional journey of its protagonists. The strengths of the book lie in its well-crafted characters, engaging plot, and the author's writing style. However, some might find the storyline a bit predictable, as it follows the common trope of returning to one's hometown and finding love and purpose. Nonetheless, the execution of these themes is done with such finesse that it remains a delightful and uplifting read.
In conclusion, Georgie, All Along is a charming and emotional novel that captures the essence of self-discovery and the importance of embracing one's true self. Kate Clayborn has crafted a story that resonates with readers, making it a highly recommended read for fans of contemporary romance.

I love, love, love everything Kate Clayborn writes. She is a genius wizard who crafts beautiful, emotionally complex stories with realistic characters. Georgie, All Along is no exception. Georgie's journey is beautifully written and I can't wait for Clayborn's next book!

This is a cute small town romance with lovable characters. I like that this story is told in dual POV.
This story had a good premise, but it wasn't what I had hoped. I would have liked to read more about Georgie taking on her teenage list. I wanted this part to have more of a focus throughout the story than it did.
Thank you NetGalley for the opportunity to read this book.

This may have been my first Kate Clayborn novel, but it was also the Kate Clayborn novel that made darn sure that I would read everything that she ever proceeded to write, forever.
I grew up reading books by authors like Sarah Dessen and Morgan Matson, and Kate is like a perfect new adult version of some of my beloved favorites. This was such a fun story with believable characters with powerful dynamics. Even though the love story began sort of early on, it did so in a way that was completely believable. I absolutely loved reading about Georgie and Levi, who felt like coming home at the end of a long day. I loved her bucket list and related to her deeply as a character.
Absolutely loved this, absolutely dove into her entire backlog immediately upon finishing.
Thank you Netgalley for this ARC in exchange for an honest review.

Kate is one of my favorite authors and she simply did not disappoint with Georgie. Will recommend to all.

I generally adore Kate Clayborn's writing, so I was a bit bummed that Georgie, All Along didn't work for me particularly well. The prose itself is lovely as always, but I didn't connect with Georgie at all. I found myself more interested in basically every other character. But even a middle of the road Clayborn is better than most contemporaries you're going to read, and I know plenty of people really loved this one. I'd probably recommend skipping it and starting with Love Lettering if you're new to Clayborn's work.

My oh my, was I OBSESSED with this book. Easily one of my top five reads of 2023.
I always enjoy Kate Clayborn but there was something so special about Georgie, All Along.
A young woman unsure of her future sets out on a quest to fulfill her childhood wish list, with the help of the town's former troublemaker who is now a withdrawn hermit. (A handsome hermit, mind you.)
Clayborn's writing is crisp and clear. She brings you sweeping into Georgie's world and mind, and what a pleasant place to be! I thoroughly enjoyed reading about her dreams and watching her discover her own purpose throughout the book.
The pacing, tone, and character building are all top notch.
I haven't even mentioned our love interest - Levi Fanning. One of those book characters you desperately wished walked the earth as a real man. Clayborn wrote such a beautiful counter balance to Georgie's optimism and go-getting attitude.
10/10 recommend!

Such an amazing book! I loved the heartfelt writing and how relatable these characters were! One of my favorite books of 2023!

Georgie, All Along by Kate Clayborn is an absolute delight from start to finish!
This refreshing and spicy read had me hooked from the first page, and I found myself wanting to devour it all in one sitting.
If I had had the time to in that moment, I would have!
With its witty humor, spice and a super engaging storyline, this book feels like it should be a rom-com classic.
I absolutely loved every moment of it!
Thankyou to author Kate Clayborn, Kensington Publishing and Netgalley for the wonderful opportunity to read this book.

This was a cute, very easy to read small town romance featuring a grumpy/sunshine couple, both MCs trying to come to terms with their past and what they want their lives to be going forward, and Hank, the very very good rescue pit bull. I love positive pit bull representation in media, and I love that Kate Clayborn included this. I also appreciated the significance and strength of female friendships shown here.
