wow iโ€™m speechless. i canโ€™t believe how good is this book??? i donโ€™t know how to review this book without giving any spoilers because this book is really good when you read without any expectations and thoughts. so basically this book is about georgie who is a girl goes back to her small hometown to figure herself out and meets her crushโ€™s older brother who is is a former bad boy in her hometown. this is just a simple story BUT itโ€™s so special, heartwarming and cute. and guys itโ€™s dual povs.

okay the trope in here are forced proximity, grumpy x sunshine, housemate, small town and SLOW BURN ROMANCE. if you guys donโ€™t know me, iโ€™m so obsessed with these tropes. let me tell you what i liked in this book: 1. the plot and the writing is just soooo good. this is my first time reading a book from kate clayborn and i need to read more from her. 2. the characters in this book. their development is insane. Georgie is amazing character i love her personality sheโ€™s just chaotically cute and amazing. and we got Levi, this man is so grumpy and HOT. i love him and i just wanna protect him at all cost. his history with the town is very heartbreaking. 3. the friendship between Georgie and the side character, Bel. i adore them so much, like the way they truly understand and always being with each other really brought me in tears. 4. the romance in this OHH SO PERFECT! slow burn and just well written. just love how everything well developed and the steamy scenes ARE JUST SO GOOD NGL. 5. the ending. the last chapter literally ended beautifully it just make my heart so full. i love georgie and levi so much.

in conclusion, i love everything in this book. i know this review probably not convincing enough but PLS READ THIS BOOK. thank you to netgalley for this e-arc for an honest review. this book will be release on 24th january. go add this book on your tbr!

Thank you NetGalley and Kensingtons for the advanced readers copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.

Ahh!!! I loved the novel for so many reasons. To start I loved the characters, and how well we got to know their thoughts, reasons, quirks, feelings. I always enjoy when chapters are from dual pov but especially when you get the guys pov. There was just enough spice (although I could always do more spice).

However, The thing I enjoyed the most though was the feelings and emotions that Levi & Georgie went through. It wasnโ€™t your typical feelings of happy or sad it was more in depth. They had disagreements, they made mistakes, there was assumptions and miscommunicationsโ€”real feelings! I sometimes feel romance novels are cliche in feelings and very one dimensional. But feelings and emotions and relationships are complicated, confusing and awkward at times when there is conflict or disagreement. I really appreciated Clayborn diving into them and letting the characters (and readers) sit with uncomfortable feelings. Thatโ€™s life and so important!!

Thank you to Netgalley and Kensington Books for the opportunity to read and review this book!

I was curious about this title after seeing it pop up on my feed a few times. I'm glad I took the plunge and requested it because I could not put it down! There are so many aspects to this book that I loved and that touched me deeply. I'm a huge fan of seeing personal growth in main characters and there was so much of that here! Georgie and Levi grew together and on their own and with the help of those around them. They grew in ways that made them seem so much more real.
Normally, a character like Georgie would give me anxiety, with all that "outgoing-ness" and no real direction... But the way the character has been written was perfect and I could also sense her as I was reading. I absolutely loved watching this couple grow together... There was banter, there was heat, there where tears (yes, big fat messy tears from your book reviewer over here)... Endless clutching of the heart while it went "swoop, swoop, swoop"... Sighing - so much damn sighing... And all the feelings...
I cannot wait to add a physical copy of this book to my library!!!

I love Kate Claybornโ€™s writing - Love Lettering has continued to be a frequent reread for me and lives rent free in my head. So while Georgie, All Along doesnโ€™t ~quite~ hit that mark, itโ€™s still very much a tenderhearted and uplifting story about finding your place and passion, and letting go of your past to make room for your future.

Georgie has returned to the childhood hometown she fled in disgrace, after her Hollywood director boss decides to give up on L.A. Not sure what to do with herself after years of having someone else tell her what to do, she comes home under the guise of helping her pregnant best friend get settled into a new home before giving birth. But before she even gets that far, she runs into Levi, the townโ€™s other troubled black sheep. The pairโ€™s awkward meet-disaster at the market gets worse when they realize theyโ€™ll be crashing under the same roof. Levi is determined to prove his worth to his family and townsfolk, while Georgie uses her old teenage journal to find a new direction and show everyone that sheโ€™s not a screw-up. As the pair independently work on theirselves, they also grow closer, especially when Georgie lets Levi in on her quests from childhood. But with both still hung up on their paths, can they manage a future?

I think this is more of a 4.5 rounded up, for me. What I love is how deeply Kate Clayborn goes into her characters, that the books don't require high flying plots of lots of tropes to deliver on good romance. At times, this was a little too quiet and understated for me, but it really pulled off such a beautiful ending that I forgave that. Really great friendship and family relationship storylines in addition to the romance plot, another hallmark of Clayborn's romances. For my money she's the best contemporary romance writer going right now.

This book was just delightful, from beginning to end. I loved the messy character of Georgie, trying to figure herself out after letting work be her entire life. VERY relatable. I also loved how Levi's background as an abused child worked in the story, highlighting him as his narcissistic father's scapegoat. It really rang true to me, especially the "good" siblings coming around as adults to see how he was treated so poorly. All the other characters ring true, and the ending was satisfying without getting into the trappings of what "happily ever after" should look like.

Great book! I'll definitely read more by this author. Thanks to NetGalley and Kensington for giving me access to an advance reading copy!

Georgie, All Along by Kate Clayborn is an adorable, charming story that I just loved. Kate Clayborn is an auto-buy author for me; once again, she did not disappoint!

Story Recap:
Georgie Mulcahy is a personal assistant to a wealthy, Hollywood producer, until the day she is out of a job because her boss has decided to change her own life. Instead of finding a new PA job in Los Angeles, Georgie decides to move back home, to a small town in Virginia, to help her best friend, Bel, who is almost ready to give birth to her first baby.

When Georgie arrives at her parentโ€™s house, she meets an unexpected roommate, Levi Fanning, older brother to her high school crush, Evan Fanning. Georgieโ€™s parents are on the road in an RV discovering America and allow Levi to stay at their home, while his home is being renovated, in return for taking care of the place. They must have forgotten that Levi would be living in the house when their daughter got home... Or did they?

Levi Fanning is the black sheep of his family and doesnโ€™t speak to them anymore. He misses his brother Evan and his sister, Olivia, but knows he canโ€™t contact them ever again after the incident. He was a troublemaker in his youth, and the town has a long memory. He now has his own home and his own business as he tries to fix his reputation.

My Thoughts:
I was looking forward to this one very much and I was not disappointed at all. The author knows how to create relatable characters who I canโ€™t help but root for. Georgie is just delightful, sheโ€™s energetic, funny, and a force of nature. She can make anyoneโ€™s life easier, except for her own life.

Levi is closed off, sullen and unapproachable due to his tumultuous childhood. Heโ€™s been taught not to believe in himself, and yet he tries so hard to erase the sins of his past. Underneath, he has a soft heart and a kind soul, but it takes a lot to get to it. And his soft heart is unmistakable when he interacts with his adorable dog, Hank, who is the current love of his life.

Georgie and Levi are opposites, heโ€™s grumpy and sheโ€™s an optimist, but they balance each other out and need each other more than they believe they do at first. Each of them needs to grow and figure out their lives, but they are able to lean on each other while they do that.

This story is heartwarming, charming, and emotional, and everything I love in a romance. I canโ€™t recommend this book enough.

Recommendation:
I highly recommend Georgie, All Along to anyone who enjoys fiction. I received a complimentary copy of this book. The opinions expressed in this review are completely my own.

I needed a little grumpy sunshine love in my life! This is my second read by Kate Clayborn and I loved it! The main character, Georgie, is such a breath of fresh air and so likable! I loved the slow burn between her and Levi and the vulnerabilities they share. Also Hank, Leviโ€™s dog, had me making heart eyes the minute I met him! I loved the small town charm and the fun cast of characters. Definitely a 5 star read and one I recommend!

When Georgie Mulcahyโ€™s personal assistant job ends abruptly she is told that she can now do whatever she wants to do instead of catering to othersโ€™ needs. The problem: Georgie doesnโ€™t know what she wants. This need to figure out her life brings Georgie back to her hometown. And while rummaging through some nostalgic teenage memories she comes across a forgotten diary or โ€œfriendficโ€ that is full of possibilities she once imagined for herself. The simplicity of it feels like the perfect starting point for her new path in life. But thereโ€™s a hiccup in Georgieโ€™s plans when an unexpected roommate shows up at her door. Former town troublemaker, Levi Fanning, is a grouchy hermit that is the opposite of her messy chaos. But he agrees to help with her diary wishlist. And as they mark off each item, Georgie starts to realize that what she wants in life might be right beside her. But itโ€™s hard to move forward when you canโ€™t let go of the past.

This was an absolutely charming, romantic, deep story of love and hurt and letting go. There was so much goodness packed into this story. I found the premise so appealing and relatable. I loved Georgieโ€™s chaotic, messy life, which never felt stressful, ditzy, or flaky. Levi as our brooding hero is, of course, really a softie who was hiding past hurts and needed a little chaos in his life. (Enter Georgie!) The romance was delightful. You can feel the love they have for each other, and the physical chemistry is fire. Such a great romance! Such a great book!

If youโ€™re looking for a contemporary romance with a little bit of chaos, a little bit of brooding, and a whole lot of great storytelling and romance, then pick this book up when it comes out January 24th.

This is the first book I've read by Katie Clayborn and I have absolutely fallen in love with it. I love Georgie and Levi as a couple, I love her parents, Bel, and the DOG!
I loved Georgie and her chaotic impulsive nature and how wonderfully she paired with Levi, a man of little words who likes to keep to himself as much as possible. The romance was cute and sweet and everything I could have hoped for. Whenever Levi is with his doggy my heart melted, he just loves him soo much!
I will absolutely be reading more by this author... and the only question I'm left with is where can I find a Levi of my own?

This is my first Kate Clayborn book, and I was so excited when I got approved for this arc! I'm typically a little wary of the "returning to my small hometown" trope, but after reading the synopsis for the book I was hopeful this book would be worth it! And it was extremely worth it. Kate's writing style just felt so natural for me to read, and I found myself going through this book very quickly. Watching Georgie's life get shaken up and seeing her have to finally deal with what she wants her life to look like was such a compelling story. You get to see her relationships with her family, friend, and her newfound relationship with Levi. I would recommend this book to just about anyone willing to give it a try!

There are a few authors I should know better than to pick up late at night, thinking I'll only read a few chapters before going to bed. Clayborn is one of them. I finished this after midnight on a work night but the next day sleepies were w o r t h i t.

Additionally, on a related note, there are only a few authors who make me want to flip over, upon finishing the book, and start again. Surprise surprise, Clayborn is also one of those. I have yet to do that but the urge is there. Also, immediately reread all my favourites (of which there are many). But I digress but what does any of this have to do with GEORGIE, ALL ALONG? Nothing really. Except that hopefully it conveys the all around good feeling it gave me.

I will be very curious to see if people find this vibed a little different from past Clayborn's. Maybe it's just me and my headspace. But that's not a bad thing. It just feels very far away from LOVE LETTERING and more in line with her debut series. Again, not a bad thing. It's good to mess up your expectations a little.

What never ceases to amaze me are how much I fall in love with this author's characters. And this crop is no different. From Georgie, to her love interest Levi, to her bestie Annabel, to Hank the dog, arg. Everyone stole my heart. But when it came to Georgie, can I just say, that few people do messy eccentric-adjacent characters like Clayborn? In many other hands, Georgie would've been OTT and cringey but somehow she was made to be loud and chaotic and it feel genuine instead of put on. I loved, too, the theme of the story, of trying to go back, and how that was woven through for so many of these characters and yet they each had different emotional beats to tackle and resolve, things to face, and how those all shook out.

Also, can I just say, Levi's style of texting? Outstanding. Ten out of ten.

Start to finish there was just so much great here and I honestly don't know what else to say about it except : read it.

The story was great - Georgie returns home to help her best friend have her first babyโ€ฆ and to figure out what she wants to do with her life. Sheโ€™s thrown a little bit for a loop when she meets Levi, the older โ€œtroubled kidโ€ brother of her high school crush. I felt the book was longer than it needed to be though, and I found myself skimming entire chapters because they felt redundant.

Georgie, All Along by Kate Clayborn is an adorable and heart-warming romance story about Georgie, a PA to Hollywood stars who gets time off from work and decides to head home to the East coast for an extended vacation break to spend time with family and her very pregnant best friend, Bel. Once home, Bel decides to get Georgie to help her prepare her home for the new baby, but before things start to roll, Georgie meets a handsome hermit and realizes that it is the brother of her high school crush. Georgie and Levi (the hermit) are opposites, but this story reveals that opposites attract. They are a perfect fit for each otherโ€™s needs until the past rears its ugly head and forces them to fight for their future. A sweet story about two souls looking for their mate and trying to make it work. A love story about a girl who always takes care of everyone but herself. And a young man who wants Georgie but canโ€™t find the right words to make her understand that he is damaged goods. I loved the backstories of all the characters with the two love birds strange first meeting and the realization that living for today and the present is indeed a good thing. And I love that love is so grand and passionate and genuine for Levi and Georgie. This book will be released on January 23rd, and Kate Clayborn delivers a big-time romantic hit. #romance #future #past #family #love #opposites #life #plans #heartwarming #kind #cutedog #bestfriends #fulfillingdreams #23TBRin23 @netgalley @kateclayborn.author @kensingtonbooks

I look forward to each new Kate Clayborn release, and was delighted to receive an early copy! Clayborn is my go-to for contemporary romance with a satisfying ending. Her characters are quirky, somewhat damaged, and trying to fit in where they are seen as standouts...but not in a positive light. Georgie does not fit into the serious college/career path her high school teachers expect of her; Levi does not fit into the rigid family role his father expects of him...and his father believes him to actually be irredeemable.
Georgie is a bright perky person and circumstance rarely keep her down for very long, while Levi is quiet, cranky and afraid to live large in case he makes another mistake. When these two are forced into sharing a house great things begin to happen. I especially like the underlying theme --be your true self and you will be happy. I know my friends and followers are going to love this book, too.
The only warning : some open door romance.

4 1/2 stars - I really liked this book! Georgie and Levi are so good! Levi feels like he's the black sheep of his family and got himself into much trouble in his youth, Georgie was considered flakey with no plans for her future. Being together made them both better people!

I love the way that Kate Clayborn writes, every character is just so real and full of life and Georgie, All Along was no different.

Georgie and Levi are such an interesting couple with full to bursting internal monologues. I loved being inside each of their heads.

I did take away a star bc I think Clayborn is better than the third act breakup and there were a couple underdeveloped side characters that I felt were a little one dimensional. Overall, another really good read.

I have enjoyed all of Kate Clayborn's books, with Love Lettering being one of my very favorite books, so I was excited to get the ARC of Georgie, All Along, from NetGalley. This book is a sweet story with well-developed characters. Georgie is a good-natured young woman who is having some trouble finding what her purpose in life should be when she returns to her hometown after a job loss. She meets Levi, who is very closed-off due to family issues. I enjoyed the interactions between the two main characters, and the secondary characters, including a dog, added much to the story. I highly recommend this book!

Every time I start a new Kate Clayborn book, I wonder if I'll love any of her characters as much as I love Reid and Meg from Love Lettering. I know, I know...that's so not fair. Just being honest, though. After finishing Georgie, All Along with a satisfied sigh, I can confidently declare that I adore Georgie and Levi. This is an uplifting, whimsical love story that will keep you turning pages. Levi showed up on the page (all quiet and unassuming yet smoldering) and I was a goner. The entire cast of characters is unique and each one seemed so real. Kate Clayborn is brilliant, especially at crafting a story world that pulls readers right in.
