This is a perfect, feel-good, cosy up with the fire and Christmas tree lit behind you kind of book. Perfect Christmas read, simple and easy! This is a first for me by the author and one I enjoyed and would read more of their work. The book cover is eye-catching and appealing and would spark my interest if in a bookshop. Thank you very much to the author, publisher and Netgalley for this ARC.

The E-Book could be improved and more user-friendly, such as links to the chapters, no large gaps between words some text written has been typed in red and a cover for the book would be better. It is very document-like instead of a book therefore a star is lost for this.

Oh my heart! ❤️ I was so fully and totally absorbed in this book. Every single character was beautifully described and I really felt like I could connect to them. Wilf was a fantastic character and I really loved seeing his connection with Sky grow and develop throughout the book. Sky and Daz’s relationship was lovely too and my heart went out to Sky as her childhood story was told to us and how she managed to over come many issues, but it’s only when she sees what Wilf is trying to process and come to terms with that she realises she still has some work to do and together they give each other strength, it was quite moving at times.
This was a proper full on Christmas read and I didn’t want it to end.

A White Christmas on Winter Street is a perfect Christmas read, full of warmth, happiness and joy.

Sky has returned to Middledip, a town she lived in when she was a child. She bought a big house on the corner and her neighbours have thrown upon her that she needs her house ready for the Christmas Street competition. Sky is a delight to read about, loved all of her story and heartache growing up, but going back to the town she was fostered by a family has brought back happy and sad memories. All the characters are special and you will be drawn to them.

I throughly enjoyed this book, I read it with a smile on my face. There was a tear in my eye too from time to time. A great book about friendship and reunited lost families. Highly recommended. 5 stars

Great Christmas read, Sue Moorcroft always weaves a magical tale with brilliant fleshed out characters and an engaging storyline. Highly recommend.

When a falling out with her foster brother Freddie leaves Sky Terran jobless, friendless and facing Christmas alone, she decides it’s time to move house and change her life. As she throws herself into their winter celebrations, can her new neighbours in Middledip fill the aching gap in her heart?
This story has all the ingredients you want for a lovely seasonal read, with a snowy village setting, a Christmas lights competition, and a satisfying conclusion on Christmas day.
That's all just the backdrop for Sky's heart-warming journey to find friends, family, love and acceptance in her new community. A strong character who has overcome her under-privileged background, she's compassionate, thoughtful and easy to love. Just like her romantic interest Daz, who has his own conflicts, but still manages to look out for his neighbours and his friend Lewis's wife Courtney and her young son Wilf, while Lewis serves time in prison for fraud.
Once more Sue Moorcroft delivers strong themes of family, friendship, forgiveness and romance, all wrapped in a good strong multi-layered story peopled with empathetic characters and a plentiful sprinkling of seasonal magic.
Definitely a book to cosy up with on a winter's night.

Every book that I have read by Sue Moorcroft I have highly enjoyed and this proved exactly the same.
Sky Terran is a young determined woman who had a difficult upbringing with an alcoholic mother. Although she did have a happy moment when she was briefly fostered and lived in Middledip. She became close to Freddy and thinks of him as a brother. They end up working together successfully until Minnie arrives on the scene and turns Freddy's head.

So Sky leaves his firm and decides to put an offer on a property in Middledip. As a result she meets Daz.

Daz's ex, Abi; now lives in London. Abi is close to Courtney who has a son Wilf and a husband but he is in prison. Daz is really Lewis's friend but he is looking out for Courtney and this arouses suspicion with Lewis's dad, Graham, a grumpy man.

As the festive season draws closer, the town of Middledip come together to compete in a Christmas light competition.

I really did enjoy this book immensely.

A lovely Christmas read that deals with some hard topics, but handles them well and manages to still stay positive and hopeful.

Sky is a fantastic character. Dealt a hard hand and had a lot to deal with at a young age. You want her to be happy and overcome her past. She is well written and the themes surrounding her mother and family life, which could have been too much for a Christmas read such as this, are dealt with with care and don’t take over the story as a whole.

After resigning from the job she loves and has poured her heart and soul into, Sky Terran returns to Middledip with the intention of restoring The Corner House and making new friends. Upon her arrival she agrees to get the garden of the house ready for the Cambridgeshire Chirstmas Street Competition, with the rest of her new neighbours. Including Daz, the man she outbid for The Corner House.

Sue Moorcroft has a wonderful way of describing village life in Middledip, it sounded like a tight knit community, but one that welcomed Sky in their midst. Sky makes quick friends with neighbour Marietta, and Wilf and his mum Courtney. And she reconnects with her foster mom Nan Heather, fond memories of living with her is what brings Sky back to Middledip in the first place.

She also slowly gets to know Daz better and they seem to fall for each other but an ex-girlfriend with a hidden agenda and miscommunication stops their relationship from growing into something more.

Sue Moorcroft's story tellling make this book an absolute wonderful and uplifting Christmas read!

I absolutely loved reading this book. It had me drawn in from the very first page. The characters where very interesting and I want to live on Winter Street.

When Sky Terrran feels forced to leave the job she loves she decides to move back to the village of Middledip. Buying a beautiful but neglected old house gives Sky something new to focus on. Middledip is in the middle of preparing for Christmas and Winter Street, where Sky’s new home is, has entered into the annual Christmas Street decoration contest.
If Sky isn’t going to let the street down, she will need to accept the help of her new friends and neighbours. Especially Daz, who Sky finds herself having feelings for, but when Daz’s ex girlfriend returns to the village will Sky find herself hurt again.
Festive, funny and moving this is the perfect book to get you in the Christmas mood.

I love Sue Moorcroft novels and this one is amongst the best as it mixes new starts, strong community, small town and Christmas atmosphere.
A heart warming and interesting novel with a sweet romance.
It was the perfect read for a lazy afternoon but it also made me think.

A lovely romance, such a good and easy read. Once I’d started I couldn’t stop! From her brother’s mean girlfriend, to the sexy man she has her eye on’s ex, Sky has a full life. He kindness, warm hearted ness and ability to wield a chainsaw to transform her overgrown garden to a winter paradise is a great backdrop to a slow burn romance. The village is well described and the close knit, although at times irritating, community that Sky moves back to is a rich setting for a Christmas tale of love.

This is an easygoing, fun and festive read that I would highly recommend curling up with, in front of the fire, with a glass of mulled wine and a plate of mince pies!

I do love a Christmas romance, and Sue Moorcroft writes them so well!

I loved this story. Sky buys a house in Middledip, where she spent the happiest time of her childhood, and it proves a bit of a bolt hole when her job goes sideways.

I loved returning to Middledip, and Sky is such a great character. I love the way she just gets stuck into village life, and how she cares about the environment.

Daz is also a great character, and is generally kind and caring, though his lack of ability to see that someone’s behaviour could be down to past trauma, rather than just being dramatic, does slightly tell against him. However, it’s lack of experience and imagination, rather than lack of empathy, so I forgave him!

I loved Ron too, and his part in the plot, but I can’t really say anything about that without major spoilers. You’ll just have to read the book to find out!

I really enjoyed seeing Sky and Daz get to know each other. I also really loved Wilf, and both their interactions with him. His whole family has been put in an awkward position because of one member of it, and I loved seeing them gradually work through that.

I highly recommend this book, it’s such a lovely, heartwarming, and uplifting story. And brim full of festiveness too!

Another fabulous book by Sue Moorcroft.

After Sky and her foster brother have a disagreement, she leaves his company.

She buys a house that’s in Middledip, the place where they were fostered, and begins to live in it. Due to her old lifestyle she didn’t have any friends, but Sky wants to renovate the Corner House as well as her to know the locals and get involved in village life.

Sky is thrilled when she finds that her foster mother is still alive and also lives in the same house. Soon she’s making friends and is involved in the Christmas light competition.

The book is about family and community.

I would definitely recommend this book.

Yet another great novel from Sue, you can never go wrong with any book she has written. Christmas celebrations on Winter Street can anything go wrong ? Reads and enjoy this real seasonal book. 5 stars well worth a good read.
