Not for me, I found it a little dry but informative. Thank you to NetGalley and the publisher for an advanced copy of this book in exchange for a review.

An excellent study of not only Indian cricket but also the dynamic between India and England. The book does a great job of switching between the cricket and the politics. A recommended read for any fan of cricket and India.

This is an original and interesting book which provides massive detail about India’s epochal and important series win in England in 1970.
The best books about cricket are about far more than sport - as is this one, which places the victory in its historical context in terms of India’s relationship with England and how vital the win was for national pride.
